Beautiful Apartment!

I attended a conference in the Nashville area and wanted a place that would not make my allergies go haywire. That ruled out hotel rooms unless I had a PURE room, which was difficult to find. I looked at VRBO and found Phil's apartment. I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment! It was a very clean place with beautiful hardwood floors. The apartment was decorated very tastefully. The kitchenette area was a delightful surprise, also. I did use the glass table that was in the walk-in closet. The bed was comfortable and the walk-in closet was great to keep my luggage and bags out of the main living area. I did not have any allergy issues in this apartment! The apartment is attached to a brick home on about an acre of land. Most of the houses in this area looked like they had an acre of land surrounding them. Phil was very hospitable asking if I needed anything and she informed me of restaurants and fun things to do in the area. This location is very useful for anywhere in the Nashville area and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

A great space!

The space was great and exactly what I needed as I attended a nearby conference. I wasn't there during the day, so I wasn't able to take advantage of the nearby amenities (pool, park), but the bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed as I came and went each morning and evening. I highly recommend it!

Nashville's little secret

From our initial search until the moment we left, we were happy with this place. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the highway. The apartment style addition is super clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Phil was awesome and her communication/professionalism with us was first class. We were disappointed that we never got to meet, but we were not around too much. We booked this place for the CMA Fest in Nashville as it was much cheaper than the downtown hotels. It was a short 15-20 min drive to downtown depending on traffic. We even ventured out in Goodlettsville and were pleasantly surprised with all the antique stores in the area. We loved the variety of coffee for the Keurig machine and all the flavored creamers. It was such a nice treat in the mornings. The unit does not have access to control the air/heat, but one quick text and she adjusted the temp to our liking. All in all, just a perfect place to stay if you enjoy getting away from the hotel life. Thanks so much, we enjoyed it immensely.

Perfect weekend getaway

Perfect getaway for an anniversary weekend. The rental is connected to the homeowners home, but we never had any issues or even heard them. Perfect size and good location right near the interstate for quick access to downtown. Uber rides only ran $15-$20 depending on time of day/night. Close to shopping also. Would recommend!

We loved staying at this property. Very cute, clean, comfortable, and safe neighborhood. The home was quiet and had some great thoughtful touches (like Keurig, paper plates, toaster oven, glasses, etc.) Would definitely stay here again!

Highly Recommended!

Phil's place is stylish, clean and comfortable. Definitely true to the pics. The location is good. It was a quicker drive to Nashville than we expected. It's very close to East Nashville and only 25 minutes to the airport in early morning traffic. Phil is a great host. She makes herself available but also gives you your own space. She offered lots of good recommendations for local places to check out. I have trouble sleeping but got great sleep when the weather was nice and surprisingly decent sleep when it wasn't. The bed is super comfy. The room is quiet and the windows have nice thick curtains that keep the sun out in the morning (and make the lightening less intense at night). One tip/warning - this place doesn't have a full-length mirror and I know that's a must for some, especially on vacation. I used my husband as a full-length mirror but it wasn't quite the same. ;)

Very clean, pet friendly and owner very helpful.

We stayed in this property for four nights with our dog. It is comfortable and very clean. Although north of downtown Nashville, it’s easy access to the freeway with the Opry and downtown just a few minutes away. Lots of shopping and restaurants are nearby. There is not a kitchen but a Keurig, microwave, small frig. and toaster are provided. The owner was very helpful and hopefully on her way to a successful music career.

The homeowner was a great host!! She left us a welcome note with information about the house and suggestions for area restaurants. She responded to our text messages immediately. The place was well equipped and very clean. Phil seemed to think of everything. We would definitely stay again!!

Great stay in Nashville

Phil was wonderful and very accommodating to us. Her responses were always instantaneous and was truly there to do whatever she could to make us feel comfortable. The place was very clean and just as cute as is shown in the photos. It's easy to find and just off the highway. I split my time producing music and hairstyling in Nashville. I travel often and I understand that creature comforts and a sense of security are so very important when you're in a new city. Those who have hosted me over the last 6 years have allowed me an amazing alternative lifestyle, being able to work and thrive in different cities. I'd like to be able to enable others to have the same !

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Long before I bought this house, I found myself driving through this neighborhood frequently; sometimes going out of my way to do so. All the homes sit back off the road on big stretched yards speckled with Dogwood and Magnolia trees. Nearly all of these houses were built in the 1950's and driving through feels a little like you're stepping back in time. It took a year of waiting but when a home became available, I snatched it up!

I absolutely love this location. Having grown up on a tiny island I'll always yearn for the sense of peace it provided. Since then, I've lived such cities as New York and Seattle and really appreciate the convenience and excitement that they offer. I was drawn to the location of the 'Ranch House' because it strikes a perfect balance between the two.
