Gran victoriana en el centro de Montclair, a 5 cuadras de los trenes directos de Manhattan y en el corazón del mejor centro de Montclair. Hay tiendas increíbles / 50 + restaurantes / bares / teatros / sala de conciertos / un museo a poca distancia.

Montclair se ha convertido en un oeste de Brooklyn, y estamos justo en medio de él. Nuestra casa de más de 3,000 pies cuadrados es espaciosa con techos altos, estilo victoriano clásico con actualizaciones y está bien mantenida. Es silencioso por dentro y tranquilo por fuera con un porche delantero de caoba y un patio con jardín en la parte posterior. Lugar perfecto, central para todos para su estancia.

Todos los adornos de la construcción clásica del viejo mundo con actualizaciones y comodidades que combinan lo clásico con lo moderno. 6 habitaciones grandes, 3. 5 baños completos con uno completo en el primer piso (lo cual es conveniente), excelente suministro de agua caliente, 3 duchas a la vez sin problemas. Cocina con barra americana, totalmente equipada para cocinar. Gran comedor mesa alta con capacidad para 8.

Relajante envoltura porche delantero con hamacas, gran patio en la parte trasera con jardín y patio.
Ubicación, ubicación, ubicación: está a pasos de los mejores lugares de Montclair y 30 minutos puerta a puerta a Manhattan.

La estación de tren está a 10 minutos a pie, a 2 minutos de nuestra casa. Los trenes salen cada hora directamente a Manhattan (viaje de 30 minutos, Montclair a Penn Station). Puerta a puerta desde nuestra casa a Manhattan en 30-40 minutos.
Autobuses directos a la ciudad también - 2 cuadras de nosotros.

Very Nice Stay

Overall, everything was very nice! Stuart is very kind and accommodating. We arrived as the beautiful cherry blossom tree in front was in full bloom, making sitting on the wrap around porch very enjoyable. Only 2 things hindered a perfect score: The neighborhood is a little noisier than expected / also, kitchen was not well supplied with cooking/serving things.

Thanks so much for your stay! You left the house in very good shape! The house is downtown yet it is tranquil normally, I am sorry it was a bit loud. Also, we have full meals prepped and served from the kitchen.. maybe you did not see the other materils needed but they are all there. Come back anytime!

Montclair Victorian

The house worked well for our large group of 14. Plenty of rooms to spread out, decent sized spaces for the group. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Onsite parking for 3 cars (maybe 4 if small enough). We were there during very hot weather, and the air conditioning kept things cool. There were plenty of towels, and quite a few toys/games for use by guests.

Overall unpleasant experience

It is an old house and is not that well maintained. Owner is helpful but our overall experience was bad. We had booked place for visiting family but due to some leakage in home had to vacate the place in middle of booking.

I was made aware of a leak due to the shower handle cartridge breaking and then leaking inside the wall. Things happen in a house and this was one instant. I came the next monring to fix the emergency plumbing issue. I was told of it the night prior and fixed it the next day. I apologized as this was a plumbing accident I could not avoid. For the guest to say it is not well maintained is not fair or accdurate at all. Other reviews have been excellent and this is 2 star due to a plumbing accident. This is unfair, inaccurate and downright untrue to make such a claim as if the home is not well maintained. If you read this please understand my perspective here as it is completely accurate and defending the listing from unjust accusations. It is just not right Thanks

Wonderful Stay in a Convenient and Fun Location!

We had an amazing experience staying at this Vrbo property! One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic location, which was conveniently close to both downtown and the train stations. This made it easy for us to explore the city and take day trips without any hassle. The local dining scene also impressed us. The nearby restaurants served delicious food and offered a great variety of cuisines. It's safe to say that we had a culinary adventure right outside our doorstep! As for the house itself, it was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of nine. The layout was well thought out, and there was ample space for everyone to relax and unwind. But what truly stole the show was the Lego table! Our four-year-old was absolutely smitten with it and didn't want to leave the house. It kept him entertained for hours on end and added a fun and playful touch to the property. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend this Vrbo home to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a prime location. We can't wait to come back for our next visit! Overall Rating: 5/5

Great Victorian Home

We were there for our son's wedding in the area. The house has lots of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms to accommodate a larger group. We all loved the front porch! Stuart (owner) was very responsive.

Great for Family Gathering

The house was very comfortable for our large family gathering. The wrap around porch provided a great seating area. The A/C worked well on the hot days. Stuart was very responsive and happily answered all of my questions.

Great quiet location near shops and restaurants

Stuart was a very attentive host and responded quickly to some questions we had. This is a historic home with a lot of interesting details yet plenty of space and bathrooms for a group of 5 adults and 2 kids (who especially loved the bunk beds). The location to downtown shops and restaurants is fantastic. We had dinner at a great restaurant downtown Montclair with street dining. Would recommend this home for large groups especially with kids.

We are a family of 5. We rent the home here and there when we are going away so it is our home and we keep it in impeccable shape and we ask you do the same. We pride ourselves on providing a meticulously maintained and perfectly clean and fresh home. Basically, we want 5 star hotel cleanliness combined with a feeling of home. That is what we provide.
We have our place up on another platform where we have had 12 rentals but we are now placing it here as well for more exposure.
