Cozy and easy access to River Run!

The Springs is well maintained and clean! The unit itself is older but maintained and clean as well! It was very comfortable and the kitchen supplies (utensils, plates, etc.) were organized and looked clean - we did not feel that we had to clean them before we used them. The door code was way EASY to use and getting in and out was very easy as well! We would definitely stay there again!

Great location

Very comfortable. Small issues like a slow draining shower and one of the elevators did not work for the first couple days. It is an older unit but I would stay there again.

Ski trip

Overall the unit could use some TLC. A drawer in the kitchen was missing it's front, only a few spoons and living room furniture was very worn. The location was great and plenty of space.

Good location but needs updating - uncomfortable beds

Whoever gets the full bed in the mid size room will have an uncomfortable sleep. That bed definitely needs a new mattress and it's unfortunate when you pay a decent amount to rent and someone gets to be uncomfortable all weekend in that room. Our young teenagers had sore backs. One roll of paper towel and 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for a weekend. Old pieces of cupboard and big buckets of paint in the bottom of the closest. Pillows all lumpy and who knows how old. If they cleaned it up a bit and updated the mattresses and bedding it woud be great, but I was embarrassed to have brought our friends here.

This place was ok but there were so many problems, so many broken things. Ice maker didn’t work, light in the toilet didn’t work, light next to the bed was broken, the showers were a trickle of water, not enough toilet paper, kitchen not well stocked, no towels in the pool area AND the gutter on the building fell off onto the balcony -sounded like a plane crash! The Springs is not that old. The condo shouldn’t have been such a wreck

No comforter or hand towels

We were surprised when we checked in to find the comforter missing from the king size bed. There was not a spare blanket, pillow or sheet anywhere in the unit and when I reached out to Vacasa I was told that often rentals don’t come with bedding. This was not accurate to the rental listing but they didn’t do anything to address it for four days meaning we bought a comforter which was an inconvenience during our travels. There were also no hand towels or oven mitts in the kitchen. I requested they waive the r cleaning fee in compensation but have heard nothing. Also beware that with construction, the “walk” to the gondola is less convenient.

Good Location, but…

Overall the stay was good with a few caveats. The master bedroom box spring is broken and the bed creaks pretty bad. The other beds were uncomfortable per our other family members. The knives in the kitchen are very dull. The second bathroom tub would not drain. I pulled out a huge hair clog. Your welcome. The room was hot. I think the heat could not be adjusted in the room. We sleep with the sliding door open. The blinds in the master bedroom are broken. Despite these issues we had a good time. However, I would not stay at this location again. Also be advised there is a new condo being built behind this one and you will have to walk around the construction site to get to the Gondola.

Great place!

We loved the condo! We will be back. Only small complaint was the view but that’s really it. Just wished we had the view of the slopes. Overall, great place, experience and wonderful memories made!

Needs maintenance

This unit has a lot of little problems that fall under the category of maintenance that are just small nuisances. Broken or loose cabinet door hinges, squeaky door hardware that awakens other guests, broken dining room chair seats, inconsistent water flow, and not enough paper towels, toilet tissue or trash bag liners for a week long stay. More frustrating is the parking situation dictated by the HOA. One parking stall per unit with no regard for unit size is a problem. This a 3 bedroom unit with the potential for three couples staying in it. The condo building had over 50% of the garage unused overnight. In addition, the keystone public parking summer rules are illogical. The lots were nearly empty overnight, yet they do not allow overnight parking without a permit and it is virtually impossible to get Keystone or VACASA to help. It seems that VACASA should work with the HOA and the resort to accommodate the larger condo units. Aside from the previously mentioned items, the unit was clean and comfortable.

Loved The Timbers

Nice Place and Great Location, despite the water leak!

The Springs is a nice building, with heated pool and hot tubs. The locations is awesome, a quick walk to the gondola and kids ski school. The condo was furnished well. However, the service from Vacasa was disappointing. One evening, we noticed that water was leaking from our ceiling. We called Vacasa and I was told that I would hear back from the local office. 45 minutes later, it started leaking more and no one from the local team had called me. I called back main Vacasa number and was told that my ticket would be made urgent. Separately, I reached out to building mgmt at the Springs. Someone from the building did appear 30 minutes later. Looked at the leak which was now two bubbles on the ceiling and said he would dig into it. The water did stop an hour or so later. We never heard back from the building again so I guess they were not concerned. I did hear from the Vacasa local office two hours later, and he informed me that since the building had seen it, it was not sure what he could do. There now is permanent bubble and small hole in the ceiling. Tried multiple times getting more info from Vacasa about the damage and our inconvenience but heard nothing back.

Wonderful property for kids

The property is excellent for kids. My only complaint was the cost for this unit was significantly higher than others in the resort and for the same units a couple weeks from now. We will stay at the Springs again but will not rent this unit. You can find others for almost half the price. We had a last minute change of plans so were willing to suck it up for this summer but recommend shopping around as all of the units are fairly similar (this is our second time at the Springs)

Home away or problems away?

First checked in and had problem with entry code which was resolved fairly fast. Room itself was in wonderful shape. Bed was hard as a rock. Water pressure issues right away with hot water. Enough to extend showering by double the amount of time. Now for the biggest let down. The reason we choose this place. The pool area. Went swimming everyday and had to request towels....everyday. Hot tubs were nasty. Multiple times. My daughter cut her foot off a piece of glass found in pool area. Billard area table not upkept at all. Balls had chucks missing out of them. Rails weren't tight. Overall felt as if this property over promised and under delivered. Will probably rent a condo next year just not from The Springs

Spring Break 2021

The property was spacious and just as advertised. Our family of four, all adults, had plenty of room and never felt closed in - as can happen with 2 college age boys. One minor thing... we are from Louisiana and require humidifiers. The ones in the condo were well used and full of mold. We made a donation of 2 new ultrasonic humidifiers! Enjoy!!

No access to open windows in summertime

As always, we enjoyed our vacation to Keystone. The condo was outdated, which is pretty similar to many other condos we have stayed. It was very spacious, with 2 nice balconies. The biggest concern was there were no screens in the windows and we were on the 4th floor. We had 2 children ages 5 and 2 with us, so no screens was a major safety risk. We could only open one window in the entire condo, and the master bedroom blinds were broken, making it difficult to fully experience the nice balcony. We used fans to keep some air flowing throughout the condo; however, when visiting Colorado for the perfect summer weather, open windows and access to balconies is part of the appeal. We asked to switch rooms but were told the only available rooms were 4th floor without screens. I felt we should have known about not having screens at booking since we had a 2 year old with us. I would stay here again, if there were screens in the windows during our stay.

Great Stay at the Springs!

Wonderful condo. Convenient to River Run Village and had excellent amenities. The Springs is always a delight and no matter which condo you rent, the services and location make it the perfect choice! Booked through Gondola Resorts (www.gondolaresorts.com) and received excellent service!

Very nice

The apartment looks exactly as it does in the photos. Very nice, large main room with good use of space and seating, all very comfortable. The apartment complex in general was very nice - the pool environment (main pool, 2 hot tubs and a kids paddling area) was excellent, the billiards table, play room and movie room were all great additions. There was easy walking access to Keystone village. The only real complaint was that the bed in the second room was a full and not a queen as promised in the description. Apart from that we were very happy. Would absolutely stay here again.
