Remodelado de mediados del siglo moderno 2 dormitorios con baños en suite.
Lugar perfecto para llamar hogar en el Área de la Bahía. Nuestra casa de campo está completamente remodelada en un vecindario tranquilo pero muy cerca de las universidades y la industria tecnológica. Cocina y baño privado con calefacción por suelo radiante y calentador de toallas, umbral bajo, ducha principal con granito brasileño iluminado. Jardín privado vallado. Nuevos sistemas de climatización y calefacción.

Conveniente para CalTrain, todas las autopistas, Stanford, Menlo Park y Palo Alto.
Nuestra casa ha sido completamente renovado. Sistema de alarma, aire acondicionado y electrodomésticos de alta gama. Hay una despensa / lavandería cobertizo de la cocina con W / D nuevo y nevera extra. Esta casa es perfecta para 2 parejas, familias con niños, profesores o consultores de finanzas y tecnología. Los dos dormitorios tienen baños completos en los extremos opuestos de la casa con sala de estar, comedor y cocina en el centro de la casa. Las habitaciones tienen colchones de tamaño medio, de alta calidad, grandes y ropa de cama orgánica. Ambos baños han sido completamente remodelados. Uno con ducha en la bañera, el otro baño tiene una ducha y granito artístico iluminado. Amplio, cercado, jardín y patio completamente privados con orientación sur y oeste, perfectos para observar la puesta de sol. Hay una ducha al aire libre y una bañera grande (también conocida como canal de caballos) con agua que drena en los árboles frutales. Niños y mascotas bienvenidos con sus encantadores dueños. Estacionamiento en la calle para 4 autos justo en frente de la casa, y un espacio de estacionamiento con llave detrás de la puerta delantera.

The house was lovely and clean. It was in the perfect location for us to get back and forth to the hospital and not far away from the airport. The host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to offer any assistance we needed during our stay. We will definitely book again if we need to return to the area.

My wife and I stayed here for 6 weeks while our youngest was undergoing treatment at Stanford. The house was ideal for that as it is under 10 minutes to the Middlefield road clinics. The house has been extensively updated with and eye towards quality. You can tell that Joanie actually updated it to use herself and then just rents it when she is at her other place. The house is located in North Fair Oaks which is bustling, busy, friendly and safe. It was a great stay for us and I would definitely stay again.

Excellent spot for our needs

We needed to stay near Stanford for a few days for medical appointments. This house was nicely located and well-stocked with basic cookware, linens, soaps, etc. Clean and very comfortable with a gorgeous private backyard. It is nestled in an active neighborhood and not at all rural, so do be prepared for neighborhood sights and sounds during the day, but restful at night. We would stay here again for sure if the need arose, and our host was promptly communicative and very friendly! Thanks for helping make a stressful trip much less stressful.

This is a great location for our visits to family and friends in the Bay area. The house is clean and comfortable and our dogs love the yard.

Perfect!

We stayed at Joanie's property following my dad's bone marrow transplant. He was able to have his own personal space in the house as well as in the backyard which was also private. Access to the house was extremely simple and the house had everything that we needed! The laundry was efficient and fast and there is even a drying rack if you like to hang your clothes instead of putting them in the dryer. The beds were extremely comfortable and the showers were wonderful as well. The kitchen had all of the items that we needed to make meals since we aren't able to do restaurants following the transplant. I loved the neighborhood and if you are a runner it is a very short distance to get to The Bay trail. There is also a very cool market about a half a mile away. Overall, I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay near Stanford or just simply in this area.

Clean and Cozy Cottage in Redwood City

This charming home is tastefully designed with modern amenities and thoughtfully stocked & equipped inside and outside. Cleanliness and location were our top requirements and this place exceeded our expectations. Beds (including the pull out couch) are very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet. The yard is private, peaceful, and is well manicured with mature fruit trees, and has nice patio furniture. The house is close to 101 freeway, grocery stores and many good restaurants. We found great authentic Mexican food within 0.5 mile. The host, Joanie, was very accommodating and responsive to messages. We had a very pleasant stay and definitely will be renting it again!

Wonderful Home, Convenient & Comfy!

We enjoyed staying at this pleasant & well-located home so much! We stayed 73 days, as my husband was recovering from a transplant. Situated a few miles from Stanford & Kaiser, location was ideal. The neighborhood is bucolic yet bustling, plenty of trees to provide shade for strolls. Home itself is very comfy! Nicely laid out, 2 separate bedrooms & attached bathrooms. Our bedroom had walk-in closet with plenty of storage. Beds were extremely comfortable, lots of bedding options.Bathrooms are spacious & had everything we needed in toiletries. Luxuries: towel warmer, heated floors & excellent water pressure. Kitchen has very nice appliances that function well, quality knives & cookware, plenty of options for coffee/tea. My husband especially appreciated the fireplace insert w/remote. Wi-Fi worked well, TV worked great using our streaming services. Son appreciated the spacious desk in his room as he worked remotely. Windows offer pretty views, lots of birds & squirrels to see. Yards are gorgeous with orange, lemon & kaffir lime trees. Fun to watch hummingbirds at the feeder. Seating options-2 dining/picnic tables, chaises, cushioned chairs. Loved taking trips to nearby places-Half Moon Bay, San Gregorio, Hiller Aviation Museum & Menlo Park for shopping/dining. What we appreciated most about our stay was the kindness & consideration of the hosts, who made special arrangements for a deep cleaning before arrival. They checked on us via text periodically & were warm & attentive! 💞

Ten minutes to Stanford Hospital

We stayed at this cozy home for one month while family member was treated at Stanford. It is an easy 10 minute drive on El Camino Real to the campus. This home is extremely clean, and has a beautiful new kitchen and baths. The owner is extremely kind and committed to making your stay comfortable. Since we stayed for a month we were able to hire her maid to clean and arrived after a long day at Stanford to a spotless home. Thank you Joanie for making our stay memorable for us.

Another visit with family

This location has become our 'home base' for visits with my wife's family. It's a great location, in a quiet neighborhood. Our dogs are very happy playing in the yard. We really appreciated the upgraded beds; they are super comfortable. We look forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in early August of 2023, and hope to come back again. The location was perfect for our stay, located in the midst of many relatives. The yard is beautiful and our dogs were very comfortable in it. The house is clean, well maintained, and well furnished.

Pet Friendly and EASY drive to Stanford Hospital

Joanie was fantastic in communications from booking her property to checking out. She went ABOVE and BEYOND of any VRBO host I have dealt with. We travel alot and only use VRBO's. This home is layed out nice for two couples. Bedroom and baths on opposite ends of house. Parking for 3-4 cars if need be. Home is quaint, clean and very comfortable to be in. The backyard was perfect for our mini bernie doodle. Lush, Private and peaceful. Very close to Stanford which was our reason for staying here. I would give more than 5 but 5 is our max on this page.

Super Cute & Great Location

Staying at this house in Redwood City was the best for my husband and I, dogs and in-laws. The house was adorable and cozy. The dogs loved the back yard. The location was perfect for our needs and safe to run around the neighborhood. I loved the fact that there was a lemon tree, plum tree, comfy patio furniture and everything we needed. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive. Their kind neighbor provided excellent dining recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Even better than photos and description

We had a 'staycation' here over the July 4 holiday, because our neighborhood in a nearby city is like a war zone with fireworks going off right outside in all directions. This property was so lovely and well appointed, the quality of everything exceeded all expectations. We literally went nowhere during our stay and enjoyed most of our time in the yard while my very elderly dog napped on the grass. It was wonderful to simply 'be' and relax and not have to worry about anything. Groceries and takeout and even an emergency vet ( not needed ) are conveniently nearby, our stay couldn't have been simpler. Check in and communication were great, too. I'd definitely recommend this lovely home to friends and family. If need be we'll be back again!

Perfect retreat for family gathering

We came into town for a Stanford graduation, and this was a perfect place to gather in between our various graduation events. The home was clean and just like it looks in the pictures. I highly recommend this home!

Cute Cozy Cottage

My family (including 2 dogs) needed a place to stay last-minute due to unforeseeable circumstances. Joanie graciously made her cottage available to us the next day well before the regular check-in time. We were pretty stressed out by our situation, but the cottage put us at ease. It was so cute, cozy, inviting, and accommodating. Joanie made sure it had everything we needed and then some. She was the best host and really made us feel like somebody cared. We loved eating, lounging, and playing in the backyard. And enjoyed all of the fantastic upgrades inside. It’s in an older section of Redwood City, and the neighbors were very friendly. I would highly recommend this great little getaway. Thanks again for everything, Joanie!!!

Perfect home

The renter was responsive and helpful. We were able to stay here while my daughter recuperated from surgery at Stanford. A lovely little home with a quiet neighborhood, flourishing back yard, cute kitchen, and comfortable living rooms and bedrooms. If we’re ever back this way, I’ll definitely rent again.

Great location and backyard

I was in the Bay Area for work and this was the perfect location near the office, with a doggy daycare on the way (Wag in RWC). The backyard was perfect for the dog and super nice for the humans too. The house is very comfortable. Love all the windows in the master bedroom. The only add I would have is a king bed for the master. Small issue with ants, but easily resolved with a few more traps. Will be staying here again on my next trip to the office (if available!). Thank you!

City oasis.

This home fit our needs perfectly. Beautiful home with an oasis of a back yard. We drove down from MT in our 31 ft RV and wanted a break and have a little more room to stretch out. It had perfect spot for our RV to park. Markets and restaurants within walking distance. Lots of good communication with Joanie, she was very helpful. We attended 2 concerts at Shoreline and this home was close and convenient. Our dogs loved the yard as did we. We hope to come stay again.

Wonderful home away from home!

We were able to experience a comfortable, wonderful stay over a busy college graduation weekend. The home was perfect for an outdoor daytime celebration, with everyone saying, “How did you find such a perfect house?” Joanie and Mark are terrific hosts - the home has everything you could ever want. Convenient location, great amenities, perfect for a short stay or a long stay. Our house is a gem, situated in a wonderful neighborhood near many sights and activities. The setting fosters an easy and beautiful ambiance. The backyard is a wonderful place to relax with friends, after work or sightseeing.

The North Fair Oaks area of Redwood City is part of the historical orchards San Mateo County and we have an amazing 20 foot lemon tree that bears fruit and flowers all year. We have orange, plum, and fig trees too. Our "green" hot tub is actually a very comfy horse trough that is filled per use and then drained on the fruit trees in the garden.
