Una excelente escapada a la montaña en las cabeceras del lago Koocanusa a las afueras de Wardner BC, a 35 minutos del Fernie Alpine Resort, a 35 minutos del Kimberley Alpine Resort, a 20 minutos del área de motos de nieve Morrissey y a 20 minutos de Cranbrook BC. Jim was an outstanding host..thoughtful, professional, and very friendly. The house was spotless, and it was clear that a lot of care went into every detail. We especially appreciated the fresh, clean towels and bedding washed with natural detergent, which made the space feel welcoming without any overwhelming scents (a big plus for those in our group with sensitivities). Overall, a wonderful stay!

We’ve stayed here before and keep coming back! The place is cozy, welcoming, and perfectly maintained. Jim, the owner, is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to make your stay special—he was especially accommodating with us. The kitchen is fully equipped, bathrooms spotless, and the bedding and towels are plentiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic experience

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The house shows nicer in real than what the pictures show! Jim was super helpful when we needed anything. The kitchen is well stocked, and felt a lot like home. Beautiful lake for boating, but it is a bit of a hike to the lake.Would definitely stay there again :)

An Amazing Summer Weekend

We booked Jim's property for my sisters Bachelorette party last summer and had an amazing time! The house is so beautiful, and fit the group of us perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed a really fun day out on the lake in Jim's boat, and he took us wakeboarding, surfing, tubing, and cliff jumping. We also hung out on the dock and did some swimming from there, it was perfect! Thank you so much for everything, Jim! I would definitley book a larger group here again

40th birthday celebration

This property was absolutely beautiful. Jim and Donna were amazing hosts. Jim took us out on his boat for the day and it was the perfect addition to an amazing vacrion. The house is stocked with everything you would need. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Great place for a group

February Snowmobiling

Very spacious well appointed property in a very nice spot inside a gated community. Close to many things to do and worked out great for our snowmobiling spots on either side of Wardner.

Clean and spacious

Cozy cabin loaded with amenities

We stayed here for a weekend away and whitewater rafting. Jim met us at the property, showed us around, and even offered to bring us out in his boat if we had the time on very short notice for a great price. Unfortunately we couldn’t take him up on that, but we thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen and the outdoor amenities (bocce ball, badminton, hot tub, BBQ, patio, etc) and the basement was cool all day during 30+ degree temperatures. Beds were comfy. Checkout process was easy. We’ll definitely come back once we’re back in the area. A great place to stay for Fernie activities if you want a little more space and seclusion.

Very clean beautiful Mountain View home

My family and I spent a few days here and the house was really great. Very clean and well stocked. Jim asked us how things were going and made sure everything was top notch for us. It’s a short drive to some popular tourist sites so location was also great, as well as the quiet relaxing evenings with stunning views

Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend with our group of friends. The photos are 100% accurate, and they have the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a vacation rental. I also appreciated the hassle-free checkout process (no starting the laundry or stripping the beds). The house is well maintained and well thought out. Everything you could possibly need is provided for you.

Best Place I've Ever Stayed!

I've been booking vacay rentals since 2012. Multiple stays in the Okanagan, Vancouver, the Island, Alberta etc. This is by far the best place I have ever been. Cleanliness - 10/10 No dust, mildew or anything left under the sofa cushions. Total pride of ownership. Ammenities - 10/10 cribbage, fire pit, fire place (excellently vented), ping pong, indoor basketball competition, bar with large fridge, towels. Kitchen - 10/10 Chefs dream! Totally stocked and not with junk! Views - 9/10 So much potential. Trees need to be cleared or topped, but what you do see through the trees is majestic. It's the Rockies! Loved the bbq view!!!! Hot tub view too.....just relaxing. As a mature group of professionals, we were on a stag party. Met the owners upon arrival and we were assured that if we needed anything we just needed to let them know. This place is run so well, you really don't have to bother the owners. Just ask how to fire up the hot tub when you meet them. There is really no reason to not like this place. Great bang for buck! It is truly a sanctuary and I want to return and do it all over again if my buddy gets divorced!

Another Wonderful Family Day Long Weekend!

A Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Wonderful home

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in this house and it was perfect. House is remarkably well equipped and the neighbourhood felt secure (gated community with coded entry). Very clean, comfortable, and lots of space to relax. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings, views of the trees and lake, large kitchen, and the fire pit. Jim responded quickly to any questions and was very gracious when we had to reschedule earlier in the year. Would love to book again some time!
