Bienvenido a Villa Violeta, una hermosa casa de playa recientemente renovada con piscina, a pocos pasos de la playa de Isla Verde, seleccionada por USA Today en 2016 como una de las mejores playas urbanas del mundo.
La villa tiene capacidad para un total de 13 personas en seis habitaciones y 5 baños.
Está en una ubicación perfecta debido a;
1 proximidad a la playa, a solo 1 minuto a pie.
2 proximidad a restaurantes, hoteles, vida nocturna, bares, supermercados, farmacias y tiendas, todo a un par de minutos a pie.

It was a good stay and good location. However, you are not given a security code for the alarm system and others have keys to come onsite, such as the pool guy. Scared my family member because we were told we were the only renters to have the keys. Overall, okay stay.

We had such an amazing time in the house. Plenty of room for 11 people to have enjoy each other and your own space and privacy. The pool area was perfect to relax and enjoy the sun. The amenities are perfect. Thank you for the welcoming basket as well. We really enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. The beach is literally right down the road. Definitely renting again if it's available.

The photos are misleading. This could be an amazing 5 star place, but the property has not been maintained. We needed to call the management company almost every day to fix things. There are electrical issues, water issues, and air conditioning issues. We had hvac, plumbers, electricians, and handymen join us on this vacation. The electrical issues were never resolved. The master bathroom has a flashing light over the toilet. The walk in closet in the master bedroom light never worked. The bedroom across from the master has 2 lights which need to be plugged in and unplugged to turn off and on. The light switch does nothing. The pots and plates need to be replaced. The outdoor furniture is not as depicted. Half of the beach chairs are rusted through; one broke while we were on the beach. Water pressure is spotty. The shower door in the master bedroom leaks creating a puddle of water in the small bathroom. The door leading into the home from the pool area screamed and moaned every time it opened. We bought some wd40 to address it. There are many other problems. The location, however, is perfect. Ruben, with the management company, responded every time we called him and was easy to deal with. Having said that, the owner needs to invest money in the property or stop advertising it and charging for it as luxurious.

Our stay was amazing , the house is impeccable when it came to style and size and amenities. We were treated like family the minute we got there. Location is central to everything specially with the beach at your footsteps can’t ask for anything better. Everything is in walking distance from bars to restaurants to even Casinos. I give this house and it’s Host an A.

The property was amazing and it was the perfect location!!! Ruben gave a phenomenal tour of the house and gave some great recommendations. The pool was an amazing amenity to have especially after a long day of walking around Old San Juan. We are already planning our next visit.

It was good until it wasn't. 2.5-3 days into our 7 day stay the house lost water. We reached out to Ruben the property manager. He informed us that it was a problem with Region Metro (water company), and they were working on the problem implying the water outage was a neighborhood concern. Thereafter, we found out Ruben we lied to us as neighbors on either side had full running water. After 2 days with no water unable to bath, flush toilets, clean, do dishes, Ruben brought us 4, 1-gallon jugs of water.. Please keep in mind we had 11 adults and 2 young children staying at the property. After 4 days with no water (our last day on site) and only being supplied with the 4 jugs of water they brought a very sketchy truck with a very questionable tote in the bed and pumped 200 gallons of non-potable or drinkable water into the big gray tank out back of the house so we could at least take one quick shower per person and flush toilets. We were told to use the water sparingly because that was all we would be getting for the remainder of the stay. After the water was dropped off, I asked for some compensation due to the fact that over 50% of our stay was without running water. Also, we had to cancel planned trips and excursions because we were unable to shower and get cleaned up before or after any outdoor activities. During the last day they had water delivered (200 gallons) which gave us barely enough to shower and clean up the residents. I was completely ghosted with no response.

Our most notable concern was lack of responsiveness on the property manger's part when the home was without water for over 6 hours. We contacted Ruben and reported we had no running water and he replied Region Metro was working on the problem implying the water outage was a neighborhood concern. Thereafter, we found out Ruben lied to us as neighbors on either side had fully running water. Ruben was unresponsive until several hours later and repeated texts from us. He asked two members of the party to climb a ladder in the dark to fix a float in the water tank. Luckily, we have family in the trades who were able to understand his instructions; however, the onus to fix a property defect should have never been on us. Ruben never followed up. We were a party of 13 with 5 children. We spent that day on the beach and at least half of the party went to bed without showers. One child threw up with no resources to clean the child. We had to flush the toilets with buckets of pool water and had to cancel our dinner plans. Under the circumstances and considering this was a situation the property manager should have been equipped to quickly resolve, we asked Ruben for reasonable compensation for the inconvenience. He ghosted us. It was good until is wasn't.

Spacious comfortable close to everything!!

It’s a wonderful stay! I would definitely book again!Easy 2 min walk to the beach, close to pharmacy and restaurants or bars. The was was very clean and beds were plush comfy!We were 7 and it felt airy and super relaxed.

Family Vacation/45th Anniversary

My wife and I were born and raised in Puerto Rico and after both graduating from college, the Army took us to the United States where our kids and grandkids were born, so we retired in Virginia. For our 45th Anniversary, my wife wanted to take our entire family "Home". There were 11 of us from 3 yrs. old to us in our 70's. I wanted a house that could fit all of us without overcrowding each other and in a central location to all the things the island has to offer. Villa Violeta met and exceeded all our expectations. I give it a 10 with some minor problems that were immediately corrected by the Property Manager (Ruben). The older folks in the group took the "Casita" and gave the main house to the younger families. Everybody had their space and comfortable common areas to be together for a 10 day stay. The pool was big enough and a bonus for calming the young ones after a day of sightseeing or after playing in the beach not far from the house. The kitchen had all the basics appliances needed. The patio lends itself for reading, playing and cooking. The house is very well maintained for a house in the tropics. The house garage was a plus for parking during the weekends when the street gets busier since the house is so close to the beach. Hotels and restaurants are within walking distance or a short Uber ride. Will use it for sure on our next family vacation to P.R. !Hasta la Proxima!

Wonderful Property!

It was 10 of us that stayed ages ranging from teens to 60's. The house was great and there was plenty room for us to spread out. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach. Communication was great with the house manager. We had a private chef Manny to come in one night and cook for us. The food was AMAZING and well worth it! We did not rent a car but Ubers were super easy to get and affordable. In all it was a great house in a wonderful safe location!

This property accommodated 9 adults and one child comfortably. We each had a bedroom and bathroom which was a big plus with this bunch! The outdoor pool was a hit and a beach 5 minutes in walking distance was rated a 10. The manager was very responsive when I reached out to him. If we chose to visit Puerto Rico we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for large groups

We had an amazing stay! My family stayed here for my wedding weekend and it was such a perfect retreat from all the craziness of the weekend. The outdoor space is truly an oasis. There was ample room for our group of 11. The casita in the back was perfect for the little extra privacy between our group. We had a small problem with the fridge and it was addressed immediately. Otherwise everything was perfect! The beach being a boo al and a half away was just the cherry on top!

Our stay at this property was wonderful!! It was the perfect size for our group. We had a very short walk to the beach and also had no problems with driving or ubering. My only negative would be there were limited items stocked in the house. (The basics were there.) Our host, Ruben, was especially helpful and so very nice. I definitely would stay here again.

First Visit to Puerto Rico

The Villa Violeta is comfortable and convenient for a large gathering of friends and family. Nine of us had privacy but large areas to congregate. Large kitchen and living room allowed us to visit and make meals together. Just a short walk to a beautiful beach and chairs are provided at the house which was handy. Our small pool was perfect for keeping cool while outside. Rueben, our property contact, was helpful and friendly and responsive to our needs. Restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed a family meal at one of several restaurants at The Fairmont which was nearby. We have only positive things to say about this 6 BR/5 bathroom property.

Spring Break in PR

Property was clean, well maintained, ample space for our group of ten, and centrally located. It was within walking distance to the beautiful Isla Verde beach and only a block or two away from multiple restaurants. My only complaint is that there werent very many electrical outlets, a problem solved with a couple of surge protectors.

Isla Verde Beach House

Loved our stay at Villa Violetta! Great house and accommodations. Spacious interior with many bedroom options because of the additional 2 guest houses in rear of the property. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning worked well with no issues.Very short walk to the beach. Property has beach chairs and cooler available. Beach also rents chaise chairs for 5.The local property manager, Ruben, was very attentive and always available if we had questions. We had zero issues with check in or check out.There are several local restaurant options to walk to and Ubers are plentiful.the outdoor space is amazing, so nice to sit by the pool after a beach excursion. Highly recommend!
