JaNa’s group was exceptional! The are a dedicated group of women who use their dogs in helping law enforcement find bodies in rural areas. They stayed with us so that they could use our shady back yard to train to dogs with commands. The dogs and the ladies are all very special! Paz

John stayed with us for two months while he worked in south Louisiana following the two hurricanes. He stayed at both the Treehouse Guesthouse and the Birdhouse guesthouse. At one point, he cancelled the Treehouse Reservation in order to move to the Birdhouse so that he could have an un-interrupted stay because other guests were scheduled to occupy the Treehouse for 4 days. VRBO sent him a refund of $507. I audited his payments and confirmed that his payments were accurate. I believe he wrote this review before he saw the reconciliation record. At no time were there other guests in the guesthouse during his reservation period. He wanted to extend his stay for one final night, but other guests were scheduled to arrive and I could not accommodate him for a final night that he wanted. He was a great guest, and I recognize that he worked very hard during his time in Lafayette.

Ida, thanks for giving us a detailed review of your visit to The Treehouse Guesthouse. First---thanks for the compliments related to the comfort and amenities of our home. We also really appreciate your detailed description of items needing attention in the Treehouse. We have just completed seasonal repairs in the Treehouse. Our spring/summer maintenance was completed at the end of May so you came just prior to the scheduled time. My staff has completed safety upgrades and repairs and we have replanted spring/ summer gardens and replaced hammocks, etc Our house rules require that adults do a walk through of the area when they first arrive to let us know if they see anything that we need to tend to right away. I wish you would have called us with your concerns, because, as you noted, we are premier hosts and we are prompt to respond. Of course, as noted in our house rules, children are not allowed to go up to the Treehouse without an accompanying adult. Supervision is needed! Iris a perfect place for adults and children to escape together to play games, tell stories, have a picnic, read, etc. it is not set up for active play .
