Esta casa especial es una excelente ubicación para una escapada única, un grupo familiar o para grupos de trabajo en equipo. Mucho espacio para disfrutar de la terraza al aire libre, la hoguera, las áreas de picnic y la enorme casa del árbol. El plan de piso abierto tiene un área central para vivir, comer y cocinar. We really enjoyed our time in the Treehouse guest house. The host was extremely responsive, very welcoming, highly recommend. The house was well situated for our needs. Also, the fact that our family in town could come over and have dinner was a huge plus. The host had all that we needed to fry up 20 chicken burgers lol. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Wow

This was the most adorable place I’ve ever stayed! The outdoor area, with fire pit, treehouse, lights, was nothing short of spectacular. It was perfect for our family to relax and visit! The house was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials. Communication with owner was top notch! I absolutely will rent again and again. Thank you!

Awesome outdoor space and treehouse!!!

The treehouse guesthouse was perfect for our family. The outdoor space was awesome, we spent most of our time in the treehouse due to the weather raining almost the entire time but we made the best out it. We never felt crowded in the house or the bathrooms. We plan to stay here again next time we come to town.

Awesome, eclectic stay!

This is a fun place! The backyard hangout was the highlight for us. We had fun with the disc golf basket and treehouse. Had everything we needed for amenities for our group of 8. There was a minor issue with the heat that the host addressed immediately. The only issue was that the oven makes the whole place smell like gas when using it. They said it was normal, but it most definitely is not. We also would have preferred to only have to communicate with the host vs the host, her son, and the HVAC tech. Not a big deal, but the preference would have been to just let ourselves in and have one point of contact.

Eclectic Escape

We really enjoyed the uniqueness of this property. From the large, fun treehouse and disc golf cage, to the eclectic touches in the house, this property is fun and cozy. We stayed on property for 4 weeks and it really felt like home away from home. The property owners are nearby and very responsive to request or questions. It is also conveniently located to many areas of the Lafayette. A jewel of an experience!!

Amazing

What a great place to stay. My husband myself and our two teenage daughters a long with our friends and their two young children came from Canada to Louisiana for a week and this place was exactly what we were looking for. The yard is all fenced in with lots of privacy and backyard games to play, super cute at night with all the lights in the yard on . The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the house it has a nice cozy feel and had plenty of room to accommodate our 2 family’s . Thanks so much for having us stay in your home :)

The good and bad of it

First the good: The house has been remodel and overall feels modern. Tankless water heater provided enough hot water for all to shower. Communications with host was prompt. Tons of seating areas around the property. Loved that all the rooms had ceiling fans. The bad: Even though the treehouse was the reason I rented this unit, was very uncomfortable with the children up there. There are several areas where safety was a big risk; screens were not secured or popped out completely, missing rail replaced with a loose strap, areas needing more rails to prevent falls. Needs much work in order to comply with any safety inspection, if there is such a thing with VRBO. Also, too many personal items (ladder, old wood, saw blade, etc) were scattered throughout the property outdoors, giving it a shabby look.

Eclectic property

A wonderful environment with lots of room. Bedrooms are welcoming and very comfortable. Outside enclosure is beautiful and fun to explore. Hosts are responsive and accommodating and helped to make the experience delightful. Thanks! We’ll be back!

This treehouse property was perfect for our group of 10. We were worried about neighbors, but this place was so secluded that we didn’t have to worry. Everyone had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again.

very charming and relaxing

actually, felt like we were on a vacation not just someone's home. the home has bed bath on one side and 2 bedrooms /bath on the other side separated by the common area. gave my husband and I privacy. The outdoor space is amazing, very relaxing spent a lot of time out there. Will definitely rreschedule next time we are in Lafayette.

Perfect for our trip

This house was a great choice for us while visiting my Mom in a Rayne for her 92nd birthday. My brother flew in from Florida and my husband and I drove in from Texas. Being able to sit and visit in the evenings, cook meals together with my brother from Rayne was exactly what I was looking for. There’s so much more time to spend bonding after being apart when you share a home, rather than staying in a hotel. To address the location: yes, it looks like it’s in an industrial area. It’s not. There was never any activity in the warehouse or parking that abuts it to the north. The rest of the street is residential. The area is very quiet. I never felt unsafe. We spent part of each evening sitting in the yard under the large oak. I booked the property and my Florida brother had his doubts after looking at a satellite view. Upon leaving though, he said it was nice and he’d stay there again. He’s finicky, so that was high praise indeed!

Unique property

The house is in an industrial area but only a few miles from town. The property is quite secluded with plenty of space. We used 2 of the 3 bedrooms on each end of the house. Each had private baths. This is an old house with a lot of customizations by a non professional but very interesting if you like a creative mindset. Plenty of outdoor seating areas and drinks in the treehouse is fun. Interesting artwork and displays throughout. Didn't have cable but did have roku and Netflix which was fine for us. Appliances all worked, fast hot water, beds a little hard but comfortable enough. Owner and caretaker responsive within the hour which was appreciated. Lafayette doesn't have much in the way of Cajun or zydeco during the week, but we found several venues on the weekend. Would stay here again because of the uniqueness. If you want your floors all even and drywall without pictures and hooks everywhere, then this place is not for you. If you are creative, then you'll love it!

This vacation rental is one of a kind! This home belongs to Harvey and he has created a magical outdoor experience to delight guests. Enjoy the outside amenities and then come into a very comfortable and private home to rest and retreat. The deck is accessed from the kitchen and it expands the dining and seating areas. The area is fenced and allows for privacy and has special effects lighting.

Harvey maintains an owner's apartment at the rear of the property. It has a separate entry from the main house, He sometimes stays there or it may occasionally be occupied by a staff person or Mom Paz.
