Catfish Property
We booked this lake house specifically for the lake front access in the back yard. We have a 10-month-old and 3 older boys that love to fish. This is why we booked this house specifically so the older boys could go and fish while we were able to relax at the house with the baby.
Upon arrival the AC was on 78. First time I have stayed at a VRBO and its that hot when you arrive. Next the hot tub doesn't work and its filthy dirty with slime on the walls of the hot tub. The children's bunk beds are damaged and unsafe to use as the bed is falling apart.
There is no lakefront access. The lake is dried up and is about a 1.5 mile walk from behind the house. The TV didn't work properly. The entire house was filthy and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Spider webs all over the place.
I started calling the property management people the day I checked in, which was a Friday, to let them know about all of these items. No one came out until Sunday afternoon. We left on Monday morning. They never cleaned the hot tub. They drilled the railing of the bunk beds and taped it back together. They never cleaned the place, so it was still dirty.
This is literally a catfish property. What you see in the photos of the hot tub, the lakefront view is all lies. None of that is there. This is listed on VRBO, but it actually goes through Vacay Hill Country another rental site. So ca VRBO and let them know. They only offered me a 50-dollar credit for the issues. Stay at your own risk,
