Wifi, smart TVs, multiple fireplaces this property has it ALL!!!! Wonderful and welcoming home for children with many amenities for families and we are pet friendly :)

Great location and near the Gunks along the Mohonk Preserve. The beds were comfortable as others mentioned. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. A few things kept it from being a 10/10 stay for us. Wi-Fi didn't work when we arrived and it wasn't a quick reset of the to router fix; we had good communication with the host but hunting through cabinets for a second router with the correct cable to reset using screenshots from online help texted to me was a little extra to be able to watch a movie as a family.The endless spa for the lap pool did not work during our stay, so it was just a small unheated pool. Hot tub was nice. Outdoor toys and rec room air hockey and foosball were nice but all felt a bit out of shape - missing pieces or Air hockey didn't fully turn on. In the kitchen, the coffee maker would stop mid brew at about 2 cups so some coffee was really strong and other cups were weak after restarting and there was no filtered water from the front of the fridge or automatic ice maker (we bought a bag of ice from the grocery store) as I suspect the water line was disconnected from the fridge/freezer. I really wanted to love this place as much as the other reviewers but I felt this was just enough little things to mention for a home at this price range and not have the turn key experience as I had read about.

Perfect

We had a wonderful family vacation at Michele’s house in New Paltz. The house had everything we needed and more! The house clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the pool, hot tub and the turf yard. The location was perfect for us, close to nature and a short drive into town. Michele was easy to communicate with and we would happly stay there again if our travels bring us back to the New Paltz area

Amazing location. Super private. The rec room and endless pool were really nice. Air hockey provided a lot of fun. The beds were very comfortable. Had a few hiccups here and there. The ice maker didn’t work, basketball court was cool but couldn’t use unless we brought our own ball. Ball was deflated and the pin to blow it up was broken. Outdoor shower is not hooked up and lots of debris inside. They don’t advertise but there’s a little putting green that was super cool just bring a putter and a ball. Tether ball was neat and lovely to sit outside and look at stars or gunks Used to rentals having coffee, tea bags, salt & pepper, oil along with Reynolds wrap etc. and this house did not so just bring that along.

A Home Away from Home—With Bonus Fun for the Kids!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience and can't recommend it enough. The location is ideal—just minutes from the center of town, shopping, and fantastic hiking trails. Whether we wanted to explore nature or grab a quick bite or some souvenirs, everything was incredibly accessible.Inside, the home is filled with natural light that streams in throughout the day, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with a spacious, open feel and that made us feel right at home. A major highlight was the rec room, which quickly became the kids' favorite hangout spot. From the pool to various games, it kept them entertained for hours, giving the adults time to relax and unwind. It was the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and fun!

We had a great time at the house! It was clean with a very cool pool/game house that the kids loved, The beds were comfortable and everything was easy to use. Close proximity to Mohonk, great winery snd farmer’s market. Even the dog loved it

Family vacation

This property is a great luttle getaway tucked below the Gunks. Spent the long weekend there with my family and some friends. Houze has a great little pool, rec room, and hot tub within short drives of some great activities.

Family celebrations

A weekend spent with our family celebrating some milestones and life. Property was perfect for us. The house was beautiful and clean. Pool house was amazing stocked with everything you need to enjoy. Relaxing getaway in the heart of nature

This house is absolutely amazing - great space, hot tub, indoor pool, lots of entertainment options for chilling at night or on rainy days. Amazing view on the edge of Mohonk Preserve and a very short drive to the incredible Minnewaska State Park. The hosts are clearly avid hikers/climbers and you can see why they care for this home and the location. Set at the end of a quiet street but only minutes into New Paltz for shopping and dining - and less than 15 minutes to 87 for a straight shot down to NYC. The host was super responsive and communicated really well to make our stay wonderful. Definitely recommend!

Great Family Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful family long weekend at Michele’s beautiful home in the Hudson Valley. We were there to celebrate the birthdays of my husband, son, and grandson. The house was comfortable and well equipped to make meals. Michele the host couldn’t be more responsive. There are many great hikes and wineries close by. This was a 5 star expereince enjoyed by all.

Superb Vacation Home

This property was spectacular. Immaculately clean and every detail done well. From a fully stocked and ready to go kitchen, to comfortable beds, sheets and towels. I’ll be back to stay here again and the host Michelle couldn’t have done more. Having had a few disappointing stays in other properties of late, this was a welcome game changer!!!

Holiday reunion

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. Even though the weather was great, with a hot tub and recreation room, we all had much fun. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and knives. We cooked every day together and played games. I highly recommend it for a family reunion.

Location

House, amenities, location and ease of communication made this a wonderful stay!! Property was clean and the hot tub is wonderful. Beds are comfortable!! We recommend and will stay here again.

Beautiful August in New Paltz

My family (husband and 12 year-old daughter) rented Michele's beautiful home for four weeks in August as a complete getaway from the city. My daughter also had a friend up and her dad came for a bit, too; there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own comfortable space--it was great! We made great use of the hot tub and the girls loved the indoor pool and air hockey. I cooked multiple times on the big grill and we loved eating outside. It was a lovely, homey space to have as a home away from home. The surrounding area is also amazing. We took easy hikes in Minnewaska State Park and in the Mohonk Preserve. We ate in really great and fun restaurants in High Falls and Tillson. We went to the farmstand 10 min down the road every day. I was very familiar with other parts of the Hudson Valley but staying at Michele's made me fall in love with the area. We will definitely be back!

Nice place for a vacation

House was great. Very “lived in” vacation home rather than “pristine” dedicated rental. That’s why I rated it a 4 rather than a 5. Perfect for families with young kids. Large master BR with attached bath. Powerful shower with instant hot water. Big kitchen/dining area. Comfortable furniture in the living room and tv room. Outside was mostly artificial turf and a bocce court. Could have been nicer but it was fine. Large outdoor dining table with grill. Great location on top of a hill surrounded by the woods. The host was very responsive to all my questions and always answered soon after my submission.
