Fijne studio

Het is een praktische, leuk ingerichte studio. Ruim genoeg. Wij konden extra vroeg inchecken, onze fietsen in de gang parkeren en op onze laatste dag onze fietsen en bagage nog een tijd stallen. Het is centraal in het centrum gelegen en toch in een rustige straat. We hebben 4 fijne dagen gehad om Arles te bekijken.

Everything I had hoped for

This lovely studio apartment was exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed. On arrival, I was greeted warmly by Catherine and Francois, who helped me get oriented, handed me a welcome gift, and left me blissfully on my own. They remained available my entire visit to follow up on any questions I had, or to advise on what to see (and the best way to do it). First rate hosts, first rate location in heart of the old city, minutes walk to major features, and access to just wander the city at leisure. Just watching the Rhone flow by was a treat. When one of my paid day tours was cancelled, Catherine suggested Saint-Remy, an easy trip by public bus route. I would have missed this without advice, and it was one of the major highlights of my trip. A pleasant walk south took me to the Roman ruins of Glanum, along with the hospital where Van Gogh spent a year. Both were fascinating and beautifully presented, leaving time to wander Saint-Remy afterward before the return bus. Sorry I forgot to open the window to start the "airing out" when I headed out at the end. I was distracted about facing a long travel day to Paris. This Arles location and hosts are highly recommended. I would stay there again without question, if ever given the opportunity.

Cozy corner of France

I am so glad we chose Arles as our home base for exploring Provence. It was a lovely town to explore and near others places we wanted to visit as well. The vrbo made a comfortable, quiet place for us to relax between sightseeing. Wednesday market was fun. The place had all we needed and more. The couple’s recommendations were helpful. It was clean and we felt safe. Highly recommend.

Séjour très agreable

Nous avons dormi à l’occasion du festival de photographie deux nuits dans cet adorable petit studio niché dans Arles à deux pas des arènes, et nous n’avons pas du tout été déçues. La ville est superbe , et nos hôtes étaient d’une gentillesse remarquable. Leurs conseils étaient précieux et nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Lovely flat in central Arles

Lovely ground floor apartment 10 mins from the station. Kind host who provided me with lots of info and tips on places to go. The flat is beautiful and well-equipped with a nice modern bathroom at the back. It's perfect for a stay of any length. Joli appart bien situé a dix minutes de la gare. Hote sympatique m'a fourni avec pleins des info et recommendations sur la ville. L'appart est beau est bien équipé avec un super moderne salle de bains au fond. Parfiat pour un sejour de n'importe quelle durée.

Schönes Apartment zentral in der Altstadt

Gut ausgestattetes, schönes, ruhiges und zweckmäßiges Apartment. Sehr nette und bemühte Vermieter, die viele praktische Tipps für den Aufenthalt bereit halten. Radio oder Fernsehen gibt es nicht, dafür viele Bücher und WLAN.

Paradise in Arles

Very charming place, great location. Catherine and Francois were very friendly and helpful with ideas of restaurants, etc. very spacious apartment . I couldn’t ask for more, would highly recommend this property.

Merveilleux séjour à Arles

Enjoyed the area and our host!

We were only here 2 days and enjoyed it immensely! The unit is perfectly located to all the highlights and convenient to the train station, restaurants and shopping. Loved the rich history that is Arles!

Wonderful studio apartment

My husband and I came to Arles as part of our first trip to France. We wanted an authentic place to stay and that’s exactly what Catherine ‘s place provided. She greeted us at the door with a large welcoming smile and proceeded to help us navigate around Arles. We would highly recommend this beautiful little studio.

Perfect studio in Arles

This studio is wonderful! Catherine and Francois are generous hosts, waiting for me on my arrival was tapenade, jam and cherries and a gift at my door on my last evening. They had great suggestions on places to visit or where to get the best patisseries and bread. Arles has an amazing Saturday market! I would definitely recommend this studio for your stay in Arles. Very happy

We really enjoyed our stay in Arles. Initially, we were a bit reserved about the size of the studio, however within a short period we had adjusted and felt quite comfortable The studio had everything we needed (except a washing machine), is very central, quiet and cool. During our stay France was sweltering under a heatwave but the studio was relatively cool. With the aid of a fan we slept very well. We didn't see the owners much during our 5 days but they were helpful and easygoing people.

Good apartment for your Arles visit

This is a good location on a quiet street, very close to the Roman arena and Place Voltaire. It was an easy walk from the train station with my rolling suitcase. Catherine and Francois live upstairs, which gave me, a single woman, a good sense of security. The apartment is on the ground floor, meaning easy access with luggage, groceries, etc. i agree with Catherine’s recommendation for excellent pastries and breads, olives, and salon for my French haircut! I stayed two weeks in Arles and enjoyed all of it. I bought the Advantage Pass at the tourist Info office, and saved a lot on my sites/museums visit. The pass is good for 6 months, so one can spread out the visits. I also bought two outside-the-town tours through the tourist info office, and thoroughly enjoyed both. Make sure you shop the Saturday/Wednesday markets, both are fun and offer good shopping experiences for everything under the sun!

Great property in a great location.

I traveled to Arles and Provence solo the first week of October. This little studio was the perfect place for me while I was there. An easy walk from the train station and located just minutes from the Center of Arles and all it has to offer. The space was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and very comfortable. While I never cooked any meals there (other than grabbing some breakfast), it was stocked with enough of the basics that you could have pulled together a simple meal if you wanted to. I can't say enough about my hosts, Catherine and Francois. While I only met Francois once at the end of my stay, I interacted with Catherine on a number of occasions both leading up to and during my visit. She was prompt and gracious in all of her replies. By the time I got to Arles, I felt like I knew her! The hospitality did not stop once I checked in - she left me a bowl of simple homemade jam at check in and continued to leave me little "gifts" throughout my stay - a small bowl of tapenade with baguette toasts one night and a small piece of cake another. In short, she really made me feel at home. I would definitely recommend this small studio - especially for the solo traveler. Thank you Catherine for a wonderful stay.

Charming Studio in Great Location!

My husband and I had a lovely one week stay this September in this charming apartment. The modern bathroom is fabulous with a large walk-in shower and stone wash basin. Even though they were still having hot weather, in the 80s every day, the stone walls and large fan kept us comfortable. The location is terrific, set between the train station on one side and the major sights on the other. We walked everywhere and there are lots of great restaurants within a 2 to 10 minute walk. We did several day trips by train visiting L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for the Sunday Market, Avignon, and Nimes. Catherine and François couldn't have been nicer, helping us decipher train schedules online, solving a cell phone problem where the person only spoke French (we don't) and dropping off several homemade treats for us during our stay, including two slices of delicious Quiche Lorraine. This is the perfect place to live like a local and enjoy all Arles has to offer.

Aangenaam en comfortabel verblijf.

Compleet ingerichte studio met een heel eigen sfeer .Onze ervaring is, dat het ook voor een langer verblijf een prima adres is. De heer en mevrouw de Bortoli zijn behulpzaam en hartelijk. Zij gaven ons goede informatie over Arles en omgeving. Als wij opnieuw in deze omgeving komen, dan willen wij zeker daar weer verblijven.
