Nice flat and nice Resort.

We liked very much the Resort and its location. But the rate was too expensive for what it was. The carpet was very dirty and the flat needed urgently a total updating and refurbishment....

a few suggestions

the cleaning was not great. Hair in the shower etc. It would have been nice to have a few coffee filters in the room. Otherwise the Reno is beautiful and a fantastic location

Stay away from 7-107

Kamalole Sands is a very well maintained complex but this unit is a complete dump. With hundreds of units to choose from please pick another one. The carpets were filthy thank goodness we had no small children who were crawling. The metal is showing through on the front door of the fridge and the bottom shelf has a large crack in the plastic so you can't put anything heavy on it. The bi fold door for the laundry stacker in the hall is leaning against the bedroom closet door. No beach chairs. The outdoor table is all chipped. I could continue but that is enough.

Basic but good

The location of the property is excellent. The condo itself could use a bit of updating but for the amount of time we spent in it, it was adequate.

Across the street from the ocean!

The condo we stayed in was a bit dated, but the location was worth it. Across the street from the ocean and only steps away from a pool or fitness area. It was in a good location in Maui and a good driving distance to a lot of attractions all around the island. Would stay in this area again!

So close to the ocean!

The location was great! Close to shops and restaurants. There's also a pool and workout facility within walking distance and the ocean is just across the street! The place also had everything we needed, such as a full kitchen, and laundry. Inside, the place was a bit dated and you could tell the carpet was original and it still had an old school projection tv, but other than that, we weren't there to stay in a room, we were there to see what Maui had to offer and we would definitely stay again in that area!

Nice property, old dated condo

Kamaole Sands is a nicely landscaped property in a good location from the beach and restaurants. This particular condo needs some help. Old, filthy carpet with multiple stains. Could feel the springs of the mattress. Terrible pillows. Condo smelled. TV was ancient. 3 forks in the drawer and one glass that wasn’t a coffee mug. Felt like the bare minimum with owners who are not willing to improve it. They won’t be getting any return renters in this condition. Disappointing after staying in a condo in Napili where the owners made every effort to provide amenities that would make me want to book a return trip.

Great Location

The property grounds were beautiful. Loved the pool and recommend that everyone go to the orientation. They gave alot of info on the island we didn't know about the first time we went. The room was a little dated, but we were only there a weekend. Loved that everywhere was walkable. The rooms had chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella (w/out all parts) and a boogie board that we used for the beach. The kitchen was nice, glad they had a washer/dryer. The apt was one bedroom but 2 bathrooms. Large living space and loved the patio. We were first floor so it was nice.

Needs work

We travel to Maui every year, this is the first time we had a problem. Starting from the door this is the only unit in the complex without a screen door. With no natural ventilation the AC was used all night. The bed was shot years ago. Big spine down the middle and lumpy. We never got a decent nights sleep. The TV was from the 70's, small and poor picture. The patio furniture was corroded and uncomfortable. All the beach equipment should be thrown out except one umbrella. We had to rent beach chairs. Two bulbs were burnt out, we hand to take one from the doorway to light up the patio and left one lamp without one. Two of the electrical outlets were pulled away from the wall and are unsafe. All the knives were dull as an axe and there is no steel to sharpen them. The fan does not work in the front bath so we couldn't vent it. It did not matter to us that the appliances were old and kitchen outdated because the ice maker worked and kept up with our needs. This was the only bright spot of the unit. A typical vacation morning of getting up after a good nights sleep and having coffee on a comfortable lanai could not be accomplished in this unit. Send an objective inspector there and you will see a partial refund to us is in order. The pool area and lawns and grounds of this complex are first rate. This unit is simply out of place there. Sorry if the truth hurts, but I though you needed to know.

Property is beautiful

Unit is on ground floor and near entrance and exit gate for property. Comes with all you need just bring food to cook or dine out. Simple yet awesome for the price we paid. I would stay here again.

Great location, needs some updates

We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. It’s location to the beach, restaurants and shopping was great. There were definite pros and cons about unit 7-107. Pros-It is located on the ground floor so there was easy access when coming and going. Our back patio had a great view of the grounds and we were close to the pool. It has a simple floor plan that gave us plenty of room. There were beach chairs and a beach umbrella for use. The kitchen offered new pots/pans and knives. It had basics for cooking/serving food. The master bathroom has been updated recently and felt clean and comfortable. The cons-The interior has areas that need to be updated. It definitely needs a fresh coat of paint. There was obvious wear, dings and smudges. The tile needs to be steam cleaned. The master bath had a clean feel to it, there was an obvious difference in the cleanliness of the tile there and the main hallway and kitchen. Updated bedding and linens would improve the feel of the master bedroom, but they were comfortable after a long day. Overall- We were so busy every day that we were only in the condo to sleep/shower and eat meals. It’s location and price made it a great find. With a few minor improvements and updates I would definitely come back..
