The host Elisabeth, who helped us check in, was very nice , accomodating, and quickly responded to all our questions. The apartment is a large 1 BR and very conveniently located near via Garibaldi and over looking a park along the water. For Biennale visitors it is only 6 minutes to both the Giardini and Arsenale locations. The apts has a terrace that is very nice and looks through the park's trees out to the lagoon. The apartment is very quiet. The wifi network is strong and makes video calls easy. There are two bathrooms and a good washing machine. Note the apartment is up two flights of stairs and requires good mobility. There are great restaurants, cafés, bars, cicchetteria and shopping only 3 minutes away on via Garibaldi.

Amazing Apartment

Our second stay here because we loved it SO much the first time! Apartment is spacious, clean, well furnished and in a fabulous location - close to attractions, water boats, and a number of great restaurants!

Excellent apartment and great location.

We are very pleased with the apartment. It was very clean, excellent location, close to transportation and restaurants. The apartment had everything you might need, beautiful view from the spacious terrace.The host was friendly, helpful and accessible. We can definitely recommend it.

Fantastic terrace overlooking a quiet park. Impossible to have a terrace over a park in Venice. Nearby neighborhood has many dining choices. Near St Mark’s but without the crazy crowds. Perfect!

LOVED the large Terrace with views of the Canal, just like the photos. The Apartment was equipped with Everything a Home, much less a Vacation Visit, would require. Elizabeth went Above&Beyond for us when we had a Serious Issue. Plus Great Assistance (& Patience) with another situation (thank you, Mark). This is the area where Locals live, yet only a quick Vaporetto ride, or lovely 8 minute stroll to San Marco Square. Lots of good, well priced restaurants, all serving the Ever Popular Spritz, yet completely quiet in our suite. And immediately outside is the Everything Delicious Majer (with the Best Ever Canolo on the Planet, no word of a lie!). We would be Fortunate to return.

Delightful property in great location

The property is well located in a quieter, less touristy part of Venice. The apartment is very well set up and equipped. The terrace provides a great outlook to a park and water beyond. Nearby via Garibaldi has an excellent offering of cafes, bars and restaurants and a lively atmosphere. There is a good supermarket and easy access to water transport including the airport ferry. The host was most helpful and communication was prompt and efficient. We greatly appreciated her generosity in allowing us to leave our bags in the property prior to our evening departure. An excellent property with gracious hospitality from the host.

Small Paradise

We spent a long week for the BIENNALE DEL ARTE and for the movie festival. This apartment is perfectly located for both of the events. And shopping for food and everything else ist just around the corner. When we arrived, Lisy was already waiting with the AC running, we appreciated this very much. She explained everything and gave tips where to go and shop. The premises were very clean and very well equipped. And the extra bonus: The terrace, we spent most of the time there. It has a beautiful view and is well shaded, let alone the nice plants around it. If possible, we will return soon !!!!

I don't know why you're asking about a winery, we were in Venice. The apartment is sweet, the terrace is the star, and it actually has a bit of a lagoon view, across the garden and through the trees. I gave it 4 of 5 stars just to not have people expect to much. It's clean, there is plenty of bedding and linens and extra blankets. Location is excellent. Off the Via Garibaldi, which is close to vaporetto stops, easy walk to Piazza San Marco, but just where it gets quiet and neighborhood-y. Good cafes and restaurants nearby. Grocery store and pharmacy nearby. Grocery store has good wine selection, and generally well-stocked. Produce market in the morning. All around charming location, and the apartment is basic, but a very good value. Take it for the terrace.

Home away from home

Fantastic location and great hosts! This apartment has everything required for a relaxing time in Venice. It is located in the quieter Castello neighborhood, but is close enough to everything you would want to see. A short walk from the Arsenale Vaporetto stop and a convenient walk to Piazza San Marco where many boat excursions leave from. Access is safe and secure and the area is quiet at night. Dining options are plentiful down Via Garibaldi where you can also find a fresh fruit stand and a fully-stocked modern grocery store. The apartment itself is cozy, but not small. The main bedroom has one large bed and a single while the living room has a comfortable pull-out couch. While the listing does not show a TV, there is a modern HDTV in the house should you want it. The internet connection is solid. The balcony is amazing and provides beautiful views of the lagoon while overlooking a nice little park. The balcony also has a retractable cover to provide shade on hot sunny days. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive. I would stay again next time I visit the city.

Lovely appartment, great location

The flat was as described. The terrace has a large table and views over a small park with a glimpse of the lagoon and was a lovely place to have breakfast. The flat has two bathrooms, which wasn't clear to me from the description, and sleeps 5 in total: a double bed and a single bed in one large bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the sitting room. The double bed was rather hard (the least good thing about the flat). The kitchen was well equipped, but the table only comfortably seats three people. NB: there was no TV in the flat. The location is extremely quiet, down an alley from the Via Garibaldi which has lots of popular bars and restaurants. There's a bakery and a good fruit and veg stall in the immediate area. The supermarket is about 5 minutes walk but rather hard to find - the easiest way is to follow someone with a shopping trolley! It takes about 10 minutes to walk along the quayside to St Mark's Square and the nearest vaporetto stop is only a couple of minutes away. When we arrived the owner's father met us at the vaporetto and took us to the flat. We can unhesitatingly recommend this flat.

Zum ersten Mal in dieser Gegend - ein anderes Venedig- gefühl mit italienischen Nachbarn und der Via Garibaldi mit allen Geschäften und Bars. Man trifft viele alte Damen mit alten Hunden und junge Frauen mit Kinderwagen. Liebevoll ausgebaute Wohnung, hell und luftig. Die Terrasse mit Blick durch südliche Kiefern auf Lagune (wenn nicht gerade ein Luxusdampfer davor ankert, der sogar einmal eine laute Party veranstaltete). Es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte und die hübschen Einbauschränke sind alle voll , so dass für Kleider, Jacken und Hosen nur ein halbes kurzes Schränkchen bleibt. Auf der steilen Treppe ist Vorsicht angesagt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir bekamen zwei Schlüssel. Da kommen wir gerne wieder, nicht nur wegen der nahen Biennale

Ferienwohnung in sehr guter Lage

Die Ferienwohnung hat eine schöne Lage- vor allem, wenn man die Biennale besuchen möchte. Sie ist gut geschnitten und verfügt über zwei Bäder. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Leider ist das Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen - die Betten waren durchgelegen und die Wohnung könnte gepflegter und ansprechender möbliert sein.

Nicht ganz den Erwartungen entsprechend

Schönes Appartement in sympathischen Viertel, ideal für Besuche der Biennale. Begrüßung und Kontakt sehr gut und schnell. Bei Ankunft leider nicht sehr sauber, v.a. die Küche und Teile des Geschirrs. Ausserdem ein strenger Geruch nach Mottenkugeln im Schlafzimmer! Nach Beschwerde unsererseits wurde eine erneute Reinigung angeboten, da hatten wir das nötigste schon gemacht. Die Endreinigung wurde sofort erstattet. Wenn die o.g. Dinge behoben bzw. beachtet sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

The apartment is always cleaned throughly, as all the other previous guests have testified in their 5 star reviews. We suspect this complaint was just an excuse to get the reimbursement for the cleaning fees. The guest is definitely not bent on hygiene and cleanliness, considering the absolute mess we found in the apartment. Definitely not recommended.

Appartement cosy via Garibaldi avec terrasse !

Un excellent séjour dans cet appartement pourvu de toutes les commodités. Nous avons bien profité de la terrasse midi et soir. Une adresse à conserver !
