Whistler Home en Pinecrest Estates

Experimente esta escapada perfecta a casa en las montañas. En la puerta de su casa, hay senderos forestales para practicar el senderismo y el ciclismo, el lago para nadar y las canchas de tenis directamente al otro lado de la casa. Hay cuatro cubiertas alrededor de la casa y una barbacoa: estar afuera al sol o a la sombra todo el día.
El interior de la casa tiene un acogedor diseño de madera y ladrillo, con una decoración relajada con ventanas con vistas a las montañas y al bosque. Hay cuatro habitaciones que duermen cómodamente seis personas y dos baños, uno con una bañera de hidromasaje. La cocina está totalmente equipada y tiene acceso a una lavandería separada y espacio de almacenamiento (de esquí).
Una comunidad cerrada muy tranquila, con gente amigable y caminos interiores para que los niños pedaleen y suban a un límite de velocidad de 20 k, muchos senderos por el lago y bosques para pasear. Perfecto para una escapada romántica o familiar, por favor, no hay fiestas. Diez minutos en coche de Whistler Village.

Well located

We spent there several weeks. It is located perfectly for biking between Squamish and Whistler. Really calm neighbourhood in a gated community. We spent days on the deck having BBQ or going to the lake swimming. Awesome experience!

Amongst the Woods in British Columbia

The images online of the house gives the impression of a larger interior space than what it turned out to be and several of the windows in the bedrooms had no screens or else had screens that did not fully cover the entire window and the screens on the doors had gaps in them, however since there were few bugs, so leaving windows open at night to get some ventilation was not a problem though there were no fans - ceiling or box fans. Though most of the window blinds were open none would close or work and the upstairs toilet was extremely low to the floor - you felt as if you were sitting on the floor and though there were 2 bathrooms only the first floor bathroom had a shower curtain. The location was almost halfway between Whistler & Squamish but still almost 20 minutes in either direction as long as the traffic into Whistler was not bumper to bumper. You felt safe at the location as it was a gated community. The lights in the bedrooms were not conducive for reading and the light in the dining room needed higher wattage bulbs. The house was OK and the upper cabinets in the kitchen were clean but the floor and lower cabinets needed a thorough cleaning.

Thanks for the list of minor things that need fixing. No one else has ever mentioned them we will be addressing your concerns immediately. The cabin is 2000 sq ft. 4 bedrooms, in Whistler 20 min. away, the size of cabin would be a considerable amount more money and in Hotels unavailable.This is a cabin in a gated community with 4 screened doors and porches on two levels so no need to open all the windows . There is a newly reno'ed kitchen with Hardwood floors , and 2 newer bathrooms . The carpets were just cleaned before your stay so not sure what you are referring to? I think a peaceful cabin in a wooded, gated community on a lake , was not what you were looking for? I am sorry we did not meet your expectations we will seriously fix all the things you have mentioned.

Cabin in the woods

This was a great place to stay. Close to Whistler (17 minute drive) but in a very quiet area. Cozy with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Nicely equipped, maintenance needed.

This house has a mountain cabin feeling with beautiful wood paneled ceilings in several rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with nice counter tops. The setting is quiet and beautiful. The house does not have the most updated decor but that is evident in the listing pictures and the reasonable price makes up for it. When you enter the house there is no working light switch so you have to find a lamp or get to the kitchen before you're able to turn on a light. The dining room light does not work so we had to place a lamp in the middle of the table to see. The master bedroom light switch does not turn on a light. The downstairs bathroom light switch would not always turn on the first time it is switched. The micro wave popped the circuit breaker twice during our stay. The upstairs toilet flapper valve would not seat and required to be manually pushed into place to stop the toilet from running. Many of the window blinds would not open or close and the dining room blind was stuck cockeyed in a half raised position. The master bedroom shares a closet with the fourth bedroom, but it was locked so no closet was available to those two rooms. The listing shows wifi is available, but none was available and the owner did not respond to our message asking if we needed to turn something on to get it to work.

Thank you for letting me know the things that were unfortunate that happened to you , the upstairs toilet had just stopped working when you came , now fixed, the light fixture for the Dining room is in the book case and had a sign to show you , where it is located , now also installed new reading lights in this area. Th lighting system upstairs has been enhanced . The internet was to be in , but a snow storm came , just when it was to be installed and the tech could not get in . I am sorry I was out of the country and did not get your message . It has been difficult to get wifi , because of the few ports in the area, the data on your phone could bring in anything you need . We have a beautiful location, and a very reasonable price for over 2000 sq ft compared to pricey Whistler . Thxs for letting me know what needs attention .

Great location, far from crowds

We liked our stay in this cottage. It's located just 25 min drive from Whistler (50 min with Saturday morning traffic) in a quite secluded area. Good for families with kids and people who like quiet evenings. There is no in internet, but the cell network works fine.

Amazing Stay - Definitely booking again!

Thanks for an amazing trip! thoroughly enjoyed our Stay, It was a perfect for our new years retreat and close enough for a few days skiing up in whistler! Robin was very helpful an accommodating and made the check-in and Check-out very easy. We will be back for a summer Trip I think! seems to be a great location for exploring the local lakes and Garibaldi.

Nice property in a peaceful location.

House was great. About 20 minutes down the highway from Whistler Village. Description of the bedrooms should be revised. The listing states 4 bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms was a single bed in a closet that you have to pass through the master bedroom to access. Worked for us, but might not for others. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lots of towels.
