El Ruskamp Retreat es un espacioso refugio de montaña con mucho espacio y un cómodo acceso a todo lo que High Country tiene para ofrecer. Hay un montón de espacio y actividades para entretener a toda la familia. El retiro de Ruskamp está a solo una milla del centro de Banner Elk, que brinda acceso a tiendas especializadas, restaurantes y mucho más. Esta casa tiene un montón de espacio para familias o grupos grandes. El interior de esta casa ha sido recientemente remodelado y actualizado y presenta una combinación acogedora de madera y piedra con pisos de granito y madera noble en todo el lugar. Hay televisores inteligentes en cada habitación e incluso en un baño. Disfrute de la comodidad de la conexión inalámbrica a internet, el agua caliente infinita, la parrilla a gas y una cocina completamente equipada.

El piso principal tiene tres dormitorios. El dormitorio principal es privado y cómodo, con una cama king size y un baño privado con doble lavabo y ducha. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama queen y está al lado de un baño completo. El tercer dormitorio tiene una cama litera futón con una doble en la parte superior.

En el sótano hay asientos de teatro con una gran pantalla de televisión. Hay una zona de bar con mesa de billar. Hay dos habitaciones que comparten un baño, el baño tiene dos lavabos, una ducha y una bañera de hidromasaje con un televisor. Cada una de las habitaciones en el sótano ha res bellamente diseñado. Ruskamp tiene un montón de estacionamiento en el nivel principal, así como el nivel inferior para facilitar el acceso al sótano.

Las actividades en la zona son infinitas. Podrías esquiar o hacer snowboard, patinar sobre hielo, hacer tubing o andar en trineo en invierno. En el verano, se puede pescar truchas, caminar a cascadas o vistas impresionantes, jugar al golf, extraer gemas o simplemente disfrutar del hermoso clima. Y, por supuesto, siempre hay maravillosas bodegas para visitar todo el año.

Great place to stay

We had a very comfortablestay here. Beautiful, unique, large house with lots of space for entertainment. Very close to Beech mountain ski resort. Easy check in process and excellent communication with Christie.

Great weekend getway

So much room and such a well stocked kitchen. So close to Sugar mountain and Beech mountain. Beds were super comfortable and the basement with pool table was a blast! We hope to stay there again in the future!

Great Place in a Great location

Our troop stayed here during our annual ski trip. The house was awesome, very well stocked with everything we needed, and had plenty of room for our troop. The host was amazing and very helpful with all our questions. The location was perfect, especially with the cold, snowy weather during our arrival and stay.

Nice home

Overall we had a very nice stay. The kitchen was large and well equipped to cook our meals. Beds were nice and there was plenty of space for our family. Added bonus was the multiple deer that would come around looking for a snack.

Excellent Fall Getaway!

Beautiful property in Banner Elk with a very spacious and exceptionally nice home! The mountain views from the front porch are breathtaking and the wildlife on the rear hillside made our trip! The property owners' timely responses to our questions were very helpful and greatly appreciated! We highly recommend this property and will be renting here again!

Amazing Property!

Our group of 8 just stayed at Ruskamp and had an amazing time! The house is gorgeous and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. Christie was great to deal with and was very responsive to all my messages. We had such a great time that we've already booked again for next year. Highly recommend this property and the owners!

We cooked all our meals there and had all the supplies we needed. When a problem occurred the owner was quick to answer emails and try to fix it.

Great place to stay!

This property provided everything we needed and more! Such a beautiful home! Plenty of room, plenty of beds, a great living room with couches for everyone, and a basement with pool and other games! And mother nature cooperated with almost a foot of snow to play in! The property provides plenty of hills to sled down as well. It was by far the best experience we've ever had and provided what I was truly looking for in this trip...plenty of quality family time together!

Great Family Vacation

We stayed at Ruskamp. I his house is absolutely beautiful. It has plenty of room for everyone to hang out together or to spread out when you need space. The bedrooms are very comfy, the bathrooms very nice and spacious, and the game room so much fun. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The owners were so easy to communicate with and replied to my messages quickly. Our family had a great time and are ready to go back next year.

Ruskamp love

We loved our stay at this house. It was perfect for all! The kids loved the basement with the pool table and they enjoyed a spacious living area of their own. The adults enjoyed the main floor and the open living area. Great place for our family and loved how close we were to beech mountain. A 5 minute drive. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinner. We will always treasure the memories our family made at Ruskamp! Highly recommend!

Making Memories

What a wonderful place to stay! The home was very spacious and so much larger than I anticipated. It was the perfect location for our winter vacation since I was fearful of driving on icy mountain roads! Super Close to Beech and Sugar Mountain but without all the windy roads Also a very easy short ride to Hawksnest Tubing. We had everything we needed for our trip and more. We had a party of 30 spread out between 3 houses and everyone liked this one the most!!! We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return. We even got to feed the deer that visited us every morning and night.

Framily Vacation

This home was everything we could have ask for--it was beautiful inside and out. The house supplied everything we could ever need. We had 20 people total in our group (8 adults and 12 children) and there was plenty of space for everyone. Christie was very communicative and answered any questions we had before our arrival. We will definitely book from this owner again. The house was close enough to all the fun activities we had planned-- snow tubing, caverns, shopping, & wilderness coaster. We had such an amazing Framily (friends = family) Vacation! Thank you for helping us make memories.

Beech Mountian ski trip

Despite the listing and pictures both showing a hot tub. This property didn’t actually have one. We were traveling with five teenagers and six adults, all of which anticipated sitting in a hot tub outside after skiing. It was very disappointing. Other than that everything as shown in the description was accurate. I was very surprised to find VRBO doesn’t offer assistance with an inaccurate listing.

Misinformation

This is a nice place to stay with plenty of thi n s to do in the area. The listing however had some issues. The media room downstairs was useless since the tv did not work at all despite asking for help. The pool table was in very poor shape as well. Everything else was good. My only complaint beside the useless media room was that the welcome book and listing did not align and we received a fee for having a pet one night even though the welcome book said pets were welcome. This error was admitted by the owner but still did not refund our fee. When businesses make mistakes, it should be at their cost, not the customers.

This was our 2nd stay at Ruskamp and it did not disappoint. We had a group of 9 this time. Plenty of room for everyone in a beautiful location. Christie is always responsive and the house is very clean. We will definitely be back. Thanks for another great family trip!

Fall Break 2022

We enjoyed Fall Break at Ruskamp so much last year, that we decided to invite a few of our son's friends to do it again this year! Ruskamp was clean well stocked and in perfect order. We were excited to meet Todd, one of the owners, who gave us a warm welcome and provided enough wood for the firepit during our stay. The fall foliage mountain views from the front picture window along with the daily wildlife visitors made our stay! We highly recommend Ruskamp Retreat and plan to visit again!

Perfect for large group

My family and friends stayed here for Bristol weekend. It was the perfect home for all of us! House is fully stocked and every one had a comfortable bed to sleep in! I will definitely book again!

Wonderful home!

House was perfect for our our family weekend away. Location was awesome and access to home was easy. Impressed how cozy and clean the home was. We loved that it truly felt like a home and not like a rental property. Kitchen and pantry was stocked with everything you could need. The kids especially enjoyed the spacious downstairs area watching tv and playing pool. There was tons of room and space for our two families of four. Newly updated kitchen and baths. Hosts were great and we will definitely be back!

Very spacious

Lots of room with everyone to have there own space. Well stocked kitchen for us cooking each night. Open floor plan. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we loved our trip with easy access to everything we wanted to do in the area.
