Encaramado justo por encima de cinco millas de largo, Pink Sand Beach, se encuentra esta íntima cabaña frente a la playa. Este escondite de tres dormitorios tiene una gran terraza envolvente, cocina, lavadora, secadora y una vista impresionante del océano. Gran parte del atractivo de Harbour Island tiene que ver con su belleza natural, especialmente sus playas. Su longitud total está bordeada por un lado por Pink Sand Beach, una playa amplia e impresionante que debe su nombre al coral triturado más fino que conforma su arena, siempre fresca y transitable incluso en los días más calurosos. Perfect property

Lovely walk to the beach, quiet, clean. It was just perfect for our family. The bedding & beds are dreamy. The golf cart to restaurants was so easy. We loved & will be back!!!

Amazing property

The location is perfect, and the house tastefully and thoughtfully set up. The beach is just a few steps away, and is absolutely stunning. Luciana and Harold were great, and we will certainly return again.

It's a hidden gem

This was my 2nd stay at the property. The location is fantastic, right on Pink Sand Beach, the place is an easy, no-fuss, Bohemian, beachy, fit for a group of up to 6, and Luciana is a WONDERFUL host - very responsive when there's any issue.

Bliss!

The perfect beach getaway!! Stayed at the cottage for a week long honeymoon. Absolute BLISS! Perfect location- steps from the beach and a quick golf cart ride to town. Woke up to a beautiful ocean vista every morning. Highly reccomend!!

Perfect

What a lovely vacation on a beautiful beach. This house is clean and comfortable for a small group. We took the golf cart to town every night for dinner and it is a short, easy ride. The path to the beach is at the end of the patio and you arrive at a private beach where the umbrellas and chairs are set up for you. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately no water on last morning drastically hurt stay

We enjoyed the property location but had water issues during the stay. We contacted the host and were told they were working on it, it was a little better but the last day we didn’t have enough water pressure in the bathroom to flush toilet. The neighbors had our house draped across steps because they said they couldn’t shower indoors We had no way to rinse our sandy feet

Family Birthday Celebration

This was our 5th visit to Harbour Island but the first in 8 years. We were excited to return. Villa Mamana is a lovely property in a great location. The garden path to the legendary Pink Sands beach meant it was less than a minute’s walk and there were loungers for all of our party with umbrellas too. The kitchen was well equipped but not as up to date as it could be - be prepared to wash up since there is no dishwasher. Generally speaking a little updating of plug sockets and mirrors in the bedrooms would have been very welcome but wifi was very good throughout the villa. A few minor plumbing issues were sorted quickly but water pressure was gentle! Daily housekeeping kept the house clean with fresh towels each day and the housekeepers were very friendly. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would stay here again.

Perfect Cottage overlooking the Beach

This is a very well appointed cottage that is cozy enough for 2 and spacious enough for up to 3 couples (we had various configurations while there). The two master bedrooms have the same spectacular view as the living room. The back bedroom is spacious and quiet. The staff is fantastic and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The only surprise was that only one of the bathrooms has a shower (the other has a tub), but we were a group that had no problem sharing. If you are looking for a quiet week beachside with easy access to everything Harbour Island has to offer, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Villa B for having us!

Gorgeous location, disappointing house

Excellent location. A short walk to beautiful pink sands beach and resort restaurant 5 mins away. Golf cart needed to visit town / get groceries. House has beautiful ocean views from living area and 2 of the bedrooms. Kitchen is dated, dark and not equipped with complete basics, e.g pots without lids, no egg lifters, to cook a full meal. Note, there is no dishwasher. Windows leaked during rain storm. Luciana was responsive but problems were not resolved by the house manager who she sent. Comfortable beds, good quality bed linen, some dated/fragile furniture, eg. fabric clothing closet. Cleaning could be more thorough, e.g. shower drains clogged with hair.

Not what we expected.

1. The house is nice, clean, and on an incredible beach 2. Housekeeping is good and professional. 3. Communication was zero. a) I sent basic info via the vrbo site as requested. Days later, the host said to text her as she did not check the vrbo site frequently; b) I asked the host for the phone number to text, with no response, but I found it on vrbo; c) I was told to text when getting on the ferry for the island, and someone would pick us up; d) After sending several texts once on the ferry and for over 30 minutes at the dock, I texted the company we rented a golf cart from to ask if they had the name/location of the property, which they did; e) After 40 minutes we called a taxi and headed to the house. I texted the host to ask about instructions to enter the home, no response again, but the house was open. The only communication from the host was that someone would pick us up, but there was no other information, and no one showed up. 4. The Island—East v. West. The island is 1/2 miles wide. The house is on the West side, and it feels much safer than the East side. However, in a house, as compared to a resort, it never felt 100% safe. On the first day, my family was approached several times inappropriately; one man even dropped his pants in front of my family while I was in a store, so my wife pulled me out of the store, saying we had to leave now. I jumped in the golf cart and we left. There are many very good people there, so safety is likely a local concern too.

Best Ever

This property is nothing short of spectacular. I can promise you from the many, many pictures I took all week that there is simply no way any photo could come close to conveying how utterly breathtaking the view is from almost every room. The beach is a dream, and feels practically private. Chairs and umbrellas were set out for us daily. At one point there were maybe a dozen people in my field of vision, many of them a hundred yards away or more, and I said to my wife “beach is crowded today”. House is so exceptionally comfortable, has every single thing you could need, and a short, private path through the yard that puts you straight onto the beach. The furnishings and beds are all as comfortable as you would like in your own home. The staff go about of their way to make your visit the best it can possibly be. Final mention must be reserved for the host. She is an extraordinary person who stayed in constant contact with us and helped us with so many things, big and small, that we couldn’t have navigated without her. For example, my son lost a piece of equipment needed for some daily medication injections he requires. We kind of panicked because the item is not easy to find, even in the US, but somehow our host managed to have some loaded on a flight from Nassau and delivered to us same day. Find me another host that would pull that off for you. The property is knocks your socks off perfect, and you will never find a better host.

We loved Mamana cottage!

We rent properties quite frequently, and found Mamana cottage to check a lot of our boxes! The location was ideal! Out of the way enough to feel private, yet close to restaurants. Spacious outdoor terraces that overlooked the beach where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening while taking in the peaceful beach sounds and views. Taking showers at the end of the day with the doors opening to the outside with beach views and sounds was amazing and relaxing. Incredible beach views from almost every room. The cottage was well stocked, clean, beds were comfortable, linens soft. The walk to the beach through the flora and fauna and powder pink sand was so quaint and beautiful. Having comfortable beach chairs and an umbrella each day was a nice and appreciated touch! Most times we felt like we had the beach to ourselves as the cottage is away from the hotels and in a residential area with very few homes. And yes, the sand really is pink! It amazed us each day! For the price, the cottage is not quite as luxe as one would expect… but considering the location and prices on the entire island, it was fitting. All in all, it’s a super cute beach cottage, that’s clean and comfortable and would recommend to most people except for the super picky, high end travelers that only like to stay at 5 star resorts. Harbour Island is for folks that appreciate its quaint, relaxing and charming ways with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The locals are warm and welcoming, too…. Superb views and beach

Located on one of the best beaches in the Bahamas with a private path between the local flora down to it from the villa. Loungers and umbrellas set up for us daily. Kind and helpful property manager and daily housekeeping staff. Wonderful European accents to the villa design and great use of glass to allow in tons of natural light. Kiels bathroom products, nespresso machine, apple TV and Netflix all provided. Harbour Island has superb restaurants, fresh produce in little grocery stores, boutique shops and plenty of island charm.

Lovely beach front.

Our stay at Mamana was absolutely wonderful! Tucked away in the beach dune, we enjoyed the fabulous vista from our pretty cottage. Everything was perfect!
