La ciudad de Boulder es conocida no solo por sus aventuras al aire libre sino también por su historia y sus majestuosos monumentos. Fuerte, bellamente restaurada y en el centro de la ciudad, a pocas cuadras del centro comercial Pearl Street, se encuentra la histórica Casa Hannah Barker. Senderos, senderos para bicicletas, Boulder Creek, mercado de agricultores, tiendas y excelentes restaurantes a poca distancia. Un encantador porche para mecerse, hermosos jardines y espacios al aire libre para reunirse son todas las características que mejorarán su estadía. ¡Tu visita será inolvidable! La casa fue construida originalmente en 1875, pero se convirtió en el tema de un proyecto comunitario de 5 años para restaurar la estructura. De 2011 a 2016, la casa de 2,780 pies cuadrados pasará por múltiples fases de renovaciones y restauraciones. Hoy, después de 5,000 horas de trabajo voluntario, encarna el encanto histórico y la elegancia, pero en el interior hay una nueva casa contemporánea renovada. Todo el interior es nuevo, desde pisos hasta plomería, electricidad y acabados personalizados. ¡La ubicación no podría ser más céntrica!

The house is very beautiful and well designed. The house looks like it was recently refurbished, with all the modern and top of line conveniences! The house is close to the university, the Pearl St mall, and trails. I highly recommend this house!

Lovely historical house

Our hosts communicated well, had the house clean & ready for our stay. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The house is in a quiet neighborhood well located for hiking, walking to the Pearl Street pedestrian mall & access to shopping. We will happily book the house again for our next stay in Boulder!

Historic Downtown Dream Home

We had the pleasure of spending one week in this special house and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The proximity to downtown and nearby trails can’t be beat. The home was very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals and relax. We highly recommend this home and hope to visit again someday.

Great fall weekend

Came in for a long weekend and football game. The house is really cool. It is a historic landmark but with an exceptional renovation a few years ago. Great kitchen, yard for relaxing, all the amenities. Highly recommend!

Great house, great location

This is a beautiful historic house, fully renovated and with all modern amenities. From a great front porch with rockers, to a fire pit area and outdoor dining, to modern bath/showers, everything makes for a relaxing stay. The owners are very responsive and in contact to be sure all is well. The location is perfect with easy walk to the creek, Pearl Street, etc.

Just a stunning home. Wasn’t expecting it to be owner lived in, but it truly was just fabulous. Perfect location, great amenities, great communication. Bar has been set super high for future rentals. Definitely returning if it’s available in the future! ❤️

Boulder Gem!

Wow, what a wonderful place! We stayed at this house with our family for a long weekend and it was perfect. The location is walkable to all of Boulder's great amenities, Boulder Creek, Pearl Street and CU Boulder. The house has a gorgeous view of the flatirons from the master bedroom, which is so nice to wake up too. The kitchen is fully functional and the rest of the house is decorated so cool. A true gem in all respects!

We absolutely loved the house! It measured up to the listing and more. David and Carmela did an absolutely fabulous job in renovating it, while maintaining the character of the original house. It's very well appointed, and from the moment you walk in, you can tell that it's not just a house; it's a home. Unlike many rental properties with generic decor and furnishings, this home is definitely not any of that. They live in the house, and it's obvious from the start that they've poured a lot of love and hard work into it. Anyone who stays in this home benefits greatly from all their efforts. Functionally, we loved the all modern tech (which is not over-done or complicated) in the lighting, AV and climate control. Just like the furnishings, this too provided maximum comfort in all respects. Also, the location was perfect! We wanted very walkable access to downtown Boulder (Pearl St., etc.), CU campus, Boulder Creek, and Folsum Stadium; and this location delivered 100%. And in a town where street parking is at a premium, the big driveway is a God-send. The outside patio with the fire pit, grill, Italian patio lights... it's the cherry on the top. Last - but most certainly not least - David and Carmela were great! They were always very responsive, communicative, and wonderful to work with! Thank you both for sharing your home! We thoroughly enjoyed it, and we hope to return again!

Wonderful home to stay in

Everything about this house is great....large, but intimate and cozy. Incredible kitchen with a large island and dining table for 8+. Side yard has outdoor lights, table for 6 and a fir pit. Great entertaining home and owners are very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Excellent Home and Location

We were so happy to have been able to stay at the Hannah Barker house. We almost had to cancel but we are so happy we didn't. We truly enjoyed the unique design and the wonderful decor. Location and size is great for a family to gather. Super easy to walk to Pearl Street for a nice dinner. And easy to get to campus! We can't wait to come back for another stay.

The perfect spot for visiting Boulder and the home was nothing less than comforting and inviting.

Downtown Boulder is the best! We have trails and the creek, the Farmer's Market and the best restaurants, Chautauqua park and CU all within walking distance!

This is a very special property that is located the center of the city close to everything! It has a long history, but is new and modern and comfortable with an open floor plan and true soul. Hannah Barker who owned this home in the late 1800's and early 1900's was remarkable: immigrant, teacher, civic leader, business women, philanthropist, and influencer. She is our muse and you will feel her feisty energy in the home!
