Espectacular vista hacia el oeste.

¡Ven y disfruta de esta cabaña de 1500 pies cuadrados (2300 bajo techo) con lados de troncos! Esta cabaña para no fumadores cuenta con pisos de madera de pared a pared, techos altos de catorce pies, puertas corredizas de vidrio de dieciséis pies en la sala familiar que se abren a una cubierta de sesenta pies con vista a una espectacular vista al oeste realmente impresionante. Cada habitación es de gran tamaño y la habitación principal tiene una cama king size, mientras que la segunda habitación tiene cama queen size. Ambos tienen un gran baño privado y puertas corredizas de vidrio que también se abren a la cubierta masiva. Una chimenea de gas de doble cara mejora la habitación familiar y el dormitorio principal. Enjoyable Stay

The cabin truly was an enjoyable place to stay. The directions given were easy to follow, roads were very well maintained and not too steep, which put me at ease. The view was breathtaking. The location was perfect for me, as I have family in Stecoah, not too far away. Also, close to Bryson City, which is such a nice little quaint town. The host even reached out on July 4th to confirm we had everything we needed. I would recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful property and location

One of the most beautiful VRBO properties at which we've stayed. The cabin interior was spacious, very clean and contained everything we needed. The photos do not reflect how nice the interior and exterior actually are. We were more than pleased with everything about the property upon arrival. The deck runs the full length of the back of the cabin and the views from there are amazing. The drive up the mountain to the cabin takes about 20 minutes and the road is well maintained, including the final graveled portion. Once you make it off the mountain you are within short drives to many destinations of interest. During good weather a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary, even though portions of the gravel road are quite steep. We drove both a Nissan Rogue Mid-Size SUV and a Mazda Miata and encountered no difficulty driving up or down the mountain. We would definitely stay at this property again the next time we are in the area.

Million dollar view.

The cabin was great. The view from the front porch is amazing. We so enjoyed every morning sitting on the front porch watching the sunrise and every evening watching the sunset. Seeing all the Fall colors from the cabin was awesome. We will be back next year.

Beautiful cabin, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The morning views of the mountains with the “smoke” were beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. The cabin is well stocked and very comfortable. Thank you for yet another great vacation!!

This is an outstanding property. The deck and views from the deck are amazing! The cabin was immaculate and beautiful. Steve, the owner, was very helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this property!

The cabin is on the top of a mountain with a fantastic view. The cabin itself is beautiful and very well kept. Steve, the owner, takes obvious pride in it.

Great virw, comfortable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this luxury mountain cabin. Can't think of anything negative to say, except you do have to provide your own drinking water, as they do not recommend drinking the water for some reason. Be sure to get the cabin guide before you go. We will be back!

Amazing view, well stocked kitchen, close to town

We had a lovely stay over the weekend in June. The house is exactly as described, just 15 min to town. The kitchen is well stocked, even had corn starch to thicken our sauce. Owner left firewood for the outdoor fire pit, but we did not get to use it. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunsets and sunrises early in the morning, just an amazing view! Love all the honey touches in the house, you can tell the owners care. The gravel road up was no big deal with our SUV even after a rain. Beds and showers are fine. Lots of room to sit, and nice TV setup. Perfect for our small family. Would stay again.

Great view

Cabin was as advertised. Steve gives very detailed information about the property prior to your arrival. The view was gorgeous. Bryson City is an easy 20 minute drive and is a quaint little town with plenty to do. We chose the cabin for the view and the proximity to hiking in Smoky Mountain National Park. It was a great weekend trip away.

Awesome cabin in an awesome location!

The view, the view, THE VIEW!!! Wow, sunrise on one side of the cabin and the sunsets on the back side will bring a tear to your eye. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting peace and tranquility during there stay. Only recommendation I would have, add a hot tub to the back deck. Either way it would not stop us from staying here again. Great communication with the owner as well.

Amazing Property & View

I stayed at this home over the Thanksgiving holiday with my son and it was everything I could ask for. The home/cabin is clean and well kept. Appliances are new and function without issue. The kitchen is well equipped and can handle and cooking/baking you do. The great room is well equipped with TV, streaming device, DVD player, and a good selection of games if you want to keep the TV off. I will say I enjoyed the satellite TV! Each bedroom has it's own full bathroom and each bedroom has it's own amazing view. Finally, that view, WOW. The back deck is incredibly spacious and the views of the Smoky Mountains in the distance are simply incredible. You have a sunset over the mountains each evening. Also, I am not a morning person, but, I woke up early to also take in the view at dawn. Outside the property there is a fire pit and seating. Parking is no issue as there is plenty. I was really impressed with this home and very happy I made the decision to stay over the holiday there. Please note: you will be required to provide paper towels, toilet paper, and you will be required to take your trash with you when you depart.

By far best view ever had in a cabin in the mountains, not far from town or other stuff, host was wonderful and quick responsive. Had a wonderful time and when staying in this area again will stay here again without a doubt

Beautiful cabin with a View of Heaven

This lovely place is well cared for, and I feel so lucky to be allowed to share the cabin and see their amazing view. We greatly enjoyed staying a long weekend over the peak of leaf season.

Relaxation in the clouds

Long relaxing weekend was what husband and I needed and it was so much more. Property was beautiful and has everything we needed to relax and enjoy the most amazing long range views from the deck. Can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing views

What a gorgeous cabin with gorgeous views. It’s really a different world way up there in the mountain with the expanse of the blue ridge out in the distance. Having coffee with contemplation on the porch is a must. Will definitely stay again!

Heavens Gate

The house is named Heavens Gate. Truly an apt name. The view from the deck is heavenly. The quintessential Smokey Mtn view every morning. The house is very nice and Steve was very responsive to questions. The drive up to the house can be tricky but we are in our upper 70s and had no issues. Best done in daylight if not experienced mountain travelers.

Walk in the clouds and tuck in the sun

What a great place to wake up every morning above or in the clouds sipping our coffee and watching nature wake up with us. Then every evening we returned to this clean and cozy base camp to unwind from the day, cook dinner and consume some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever experienced in the mountains. Great responsive host with any questions that arose. An exceptional place to stay.

A special place to remember the beauty of our country

My family stayed at the cabin in June. We haven't stopped talking about the place since. We're an IL family living in the flat prairie. We sought the experience of the mountains - we were not disappointed! The view from this cabin is majestic. We were blown away by the beauty and would rush back from our daily excursions to the Great Smokey Mountain railroad (also highly recommended) just to sit in the swing or rocking chairs to take in the panorama. The sunset on the deck is truly unforgettable and will forever be a cherished memory for my family. The footprint of the cabin was perfect for our family of four with ensuite bedrooms on opposite ends of the house, including sliding doors to the deck to always take in the impeccable view. My spouse and I were admittedly worried about the road up the mountain to the cabin, but we were both extremely impressed the path was wide enough in the most hazardous sections. As the posting and reviews recommend, I do believe a SUV or truck is required for this location - even our Buick Enclave was challenged with the incline. The host was attentive to our questions and quite helpful during booking and throughout the stay. You wont' regret securing this property for your stay in this magnificent part of our country!
