Ubicado en el corazón de un pequeño pueblo encantador y tranquilo, llegará a Bergues y sus murallas en 10 minutos, Cassel y su famoso museo de Flandes en 15 minutos, Ypres en 40 'y Brujas (la pequeña Venecia belga) en 1 h.
Cerca de la costa francesa y belga, tardará 20 minutos en llegar.
La casa tiene 1 habitación para 2 personas con la posibilidad de añadir 2 camas supletorias en la misma habitación. .
Gran cuarto de baño con ducha y lavabo.

Very interesting property in the garden of old building owned by host, private entry and private space in garden . Accommodation was excellent. Be aware very low beams in bedroom and bathroom . I would happily stay again as host Sabine very friendly and helpful made us feel welcome . Excellent English speaker .

A week in Flanders Fields

Amazing week , visiting fantastic village's enjoying wonderful food and meeting lovely people. Our hosts were the best, couldnt wish for better and this gite is very relaxing and compact.

Relaxing and Peaceful

The Gite was tranquil …. Beautifully decorated, the simplicity of this gave a calm and peaceful stay …. The host Sabine was lovely and was at hand for any issue although I couldn’t imagine any issues arising Would recommend highly 😁

Last minute trip to Flanders

We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, cosy and soooooo..... French!

Sabine is such a warm and welcoming host. She was a mine of information regarding the local area The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay, with free parking on site. The decor is gorgeous and the garden so atmospheric. The village is lovely and quiet but with a SUPERB supermarket just 2 minutes from the apartment. Very conveniently located to explore the local area. Highly recommend.

Fabulous

Sabine was extremely helpful and pleasant. We met her family who made us feel welcome. The Gite was perfect and Sabine checked numerous occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be returning here again. Thank you to Sabine and her husband.

Best Gite in Northern France

We were looking to find a nice little village to stay in with easy access to northern France and Belgium. What we found was a great Gite with a wonderful host who was very attentive to our needs and made us feel quite at home. The Gite had plenty of room for us, everything we needed (we found not having a TV was in fact a bonus), and a lovely garden to relax in. Sabine gave us helpful advice on what to visit, how best to get there and assisted us across the language barriers (she speaks English much better than we speak French!). We loved our stay and could not have asked for a better combination of location, comfort and host.

quite nice, but not a second time

The house itself is quite nice, but unfortunately the toilet didn't flush and the shower is extremely small and the sliding door was wobbly. We also had the impression that the owner, who lives right next door, was keeping a very close eye on us. She knew when we were out, commented on the day of departure that she had already seen that we had put the rubbish outside the door and, last but not least, she actually opened our locked bin bags and rummaged through them. She charged us €16 for three broken cheap wine glasses (IKEA). To be fair, I have to mention that we had forgotten to tell her when we left that the glasses had been broken.

Dear Richard I am very surprised to discover your comment regarding your stay. You seemed so happy. What you consider to be intrusion is only kindness towards you. We offered you a late check-out, which you accepted. I actually saw that you had left your trash in front of the cottage, which was normal. When we started cleaning the cottage, you left it in an incredibly dirty state? I actually noticed that 3 glasses, a cup and 2 plates had disappeared???? So I contacted you and you bamboozled me into a false explanation by saying that your wife had broken the dishes in the "rush to leave", I quote! You stayed with us for 6 days and in 6 days you broke some dishes, it's not dramatic in itself but I hate lying. Concernany your comments about our equipment, only you have had problems with flushing toilets, and problems with shower size!!! I don't understand your aggression!!! These are lies and you know it! When I contacted you following the inventory, you spontaneously offered to pay the breakage costs and yes indeed dear Sir, we have been purchasing the supplies to best equip our accommodation to accommodate our travelers for 7 years. We are obviously disappointed to read these lies and regret that

De gite van de presbytere is een fijn huisje. Leuk ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien en schoon! Het was ook heel fijn dat we van de tuin gebruik mochten maken. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Herzeele.

La propriétaire de ce gîte est exceptionnelle. Toutes les adresses qu'elle m'a conseillé nous ont permis de passer un weekend formidable ❤️ Une fois que vous rentrez de l'espace qui vous est complètement dédié, c'est comme si vous entriez dans un havre de paix. Le jardin est apaisant, très bien entretenu, décoré avec goût et tous les équipements sont propices à la détente et au confort. En ce qui concerne le logement en lui même, tout y est, vous n'avez besoin de penser à rien. La décoration est sobre et élégante. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer ❤️
