Second stay at this property

First stay two years ago, perfect. This stay was disappointing. Lots of weeds around the pool. Carpet not maintained well. But the most frustrating part is that the shower in one of the bathrooms would not get warm. They finally got a plumber out on our final day, only to have him show up with no notice and turn the water off while others in the home were showering.

Non working pool

I initially booked at Windsor Hills because it’s a nice property and I previously booked there before with no issues but to drive 1200 miles from Michigan all the way to Florida and get to the property and there’s no water in the pool was very dissatisfying. I reached out to the property manager about the situation which they stated someone will come and take a look at the pool to see what was going on and no one ever showed up, which I think that they were already aware of the situation because all the pool toys were in the garage instead of at the pool. I feel as if this was false advertisement. And that the pool has been down for some time and no one gave me a call or gave me the choice to book another house due to the pool not being assessable as it advertised on Vrbo. An to only offer me a refund 299 for my stay is unacceptable. I will be reaching out to the better business bureau for false advertisement because I don’t appreciate driving all that way to get there and is not what I expected. An then to offer me the day of check-in to book another home somewhere else which I think that option should have been offered to me ahead of time before I fully paid for this booking, which I know the property knew the pool was not assessable. The only reason why I chose this property is because I stayed at this exact address once before and everything was perfect. The first time around can’t say that about this current stay. Very dissatisfied the is the main reason I booked here

The house and pool are beautiful. The management team very responsive. Unfortunately the house was not well cleaned, and we had an ant infestation that forced us to throw out food. The living room needs better seating to accommodate all the guests at one time. Great location, easy access to the parks- both Disney and Universal.

We take short weekend vacations to enjoy a private pool and HOT TUB/SPA.... this one NEVER GOT HOT... we had a similar problem last year in windham resort, I paid for a heated pool because there was no hot tub and it never got hot! Time to try somewhere else!

Great vacation

The property was very nice, it is more catered to older, not really complaining but not much to do at the house but swim and hot tub, would suggest a couple of games(pool table, Foos ball, air hockey even darts) in the garage because that is alot of space that isn't being utilized. The house could use some general maintenance9 and up grading, furniture in the family room was not comfortable but the beds were like heaven. Definitely would go back.

Wonderful home for a family vacation

We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The place was in the perfect location. It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Would have liked more supplies like towels, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc.

Perfect Golf/Disney Location

Each bdr had it's own bath--perfect for all ages. Wonderful floor plan. TWO main floor mstr bdrms! A few spots on the carpet but "things happen". Hard to take care of between bookings. No tv/internet for a few days--but management tried to take care of it--not a big concern. If they'll have us we will book again next year! Loved the common area across the street. Pd for pool heat--never got warm enough for us seniors BUT the hot tub was wonderful. It really got chilly several days so I think the pool heater couldn't keep up, understandable. SEVEN seniors appreciated our "home away from home". Thank you!

It's always tough finding a good vacation rental near Disney World for 10 people, but this house had enough space for all of us and then some. We had a small issue with the hot tub and the owner was so quick to help out and sent someone over right away. It was such a pleasure, clean, and perfect for our stay!

Enjoyed our stay

This property was very spacious and served our needs well by being close to all of our activities. The weather was quite chilly during our visit so we only used the pool and hot tub once. When we arrived at the property there was a maintenance person fixing the screen over the pool.

Did the job

We stayed 3 nights and were at Disney most of our stay. We have stayed in Windsor Hills multiple times in amazing houses. This is not what I would describe as amazing. Checkin was supposed to be at 4, they were not done cleaning till closer to 5. The day we checked out, my husband dropped us off at the pool while he packed up. Sometime right after 10, they changed the lock code and he couldn’t get back in. House was WAY over priced. It is spacious, but not kid friendly. For being a “Disney” house with 5 bedrooms, there is nothing for kids in this house. Not even plastic dishes. It did the job and was better than four kids being in a hotel room at Disney, but there is nothing special about this house. The garage isn’t even a game room or movie theater like most houses in the neighborhood. I was overall disappointed and felt like I paid way too much for this three night stay.

Disappointed

Many of the beds had not been washed upon arrival. The property only provides one load of laundry soap which we quickly used to watch some bedding. We called the property manager and they failed to assist satisfactorily. Dishes and silverware was put away dirty and all had to be washed again. The property manager must count your nights and then provides one dishwasher soap per day. The home is Ill equipped with necessary items to maintain cleanliness and as a result needs a deep clean everywhere. Flooring is dirty and worn, limited towels and supplies. Community pool passes were not at the home upon check-in. Good location. Maps tries to enter and exit at owner gates where you do not have access. Close to Disney. Pool was cold the first couple of days and was very warm on day three. Holes in the pool netting let in leaves into the pool and a small snake one evening.

Nice Home

This house was nice. It's really missing upgrades in order for it to be listed as beautiful. The house is screaming to be upgraded!!! I enjoyed my stay, but was missing the up to date feel. Needs new appliances, tables, chairs, carpet, rug, bigger TVs, mattresses etc. Get rid of the old and bring in the new...this house would be 5 stars. Overall, it took care of our needs and the staff responded timely to our requests. Please update the house!!!

Disappointing experience.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented through Marriott Homes & Villas expecting Marriott quality. Unfortunately, it was not. It began with scratchy 200 thread count sheets, no bath mats, wobbly table & chairs, and included an ant infestation. In addition, the pictures of the house (including the one that accompanies this request for a review) show two pool lounge chairs. These were not at the home when we were there. I called Casiola and asked for chairs (as this was a major reason I booked this house during COVID) and told there was nothing they could do. *Ants in bathroom.*Dead **** roaches (2) on floor of bathroom*Shower head only had about 30/55ish jets working at very low pressure*AC was inconsistent; comfortable to hot very quickly*Pool/hot tub heat. Non existent until monday afternoon. Through the rest if the week, pool got progressively hotter, to the point that on friday it was way too warm. The pool was 94. That temp was recorded early morning and after several storms. Hot tub temperatures should be 95 degrees +.*Pool nor hot tub was cleaned before our check in; dirt on pool and tub floor. Water was not clear, needing chemical check. Magically the dirt disappeared Wednesday, and both the pool and hot tub had been treated---the water was clearer. *4 Hot tub jets--1 was functional, 2 were barely spurting bubbles, and 1 was essentially non- functional.*Living room couch was well past its life of usefulness, very poor condition.*Lack of lounge chairs poolside.*The fridge froze items. And the freezer was just freezing. *Icemaker did not keep up with demands, even though I was the only person who utilized drinks with ice-- say this to mean I like as much as possible with my beverage instead of normal amount of ice.*Dining table is unstable. At least one of the chairs has a very loose leg which needs repair.*Tiled floors throughout bathrooms and entry fr

Very centric and overall a good place to stay

The property was very centric. The design was very pretty and the house was very spacious. The security of the condominium is very tight so you feel safe. Pool was warn and very nice size. Some things we encounter.: The bed matressess needs to be updated, it was very uncomfortable to sleep in as the bed sink when you lay down more than a regular soft bed. You wake up with a lot of pain on your back. One of the toilets downstairs, the seat, need to be changed as its cracked and when you sit down it pinch you. The central AC vent needs to be clean. When you get inside of the property you can see the black dust on it. Overall it was a good place to saty with the family

Terrible

The house was FILTHY! There were bugs everywhere. There was food under the washroom sink. The rug in the front was DIRTY. The pool was DIRTY!!! We called to get the situation rectified and constantly was lied to. We were promised that an exterminator and cleaning service would come out the next day and it never happened. We called CONTINUOUSLY and got the run around. We will never book with Casiola Again
