If Edan had even asked if there was A/C or told me even that the house was hot, I have portable AC units that I would have brought over. As this property is on the top of the hill, it's actually usually windy and chilly most of the time. I'm sorry Edan, I really wish I had known you were suffering, I would have made it up to you.

Thanks for staying. This was a really unusual guest. I have looked into the heat and have no idea what the complaint is for. It is not at all noisy, and does work downstairs. I would always encourage guests to reach out to me if there's any trouble, as we also could have provided electric room heaters if there was in fact a problem. The garage is under the house and like most garages has exposed structure; it's not a living space. That doesn't mean it wasn't "done". I believe this guest was looking for something to complain about because of an awkward confrontation we had, where they had double booked 2 places with me, and I had to ask them to pick one and cancel the other to avoid blocking the calendar.
