Capacidad para 6 personas con dos camas de tamaño regular en la planta baja y cuatro camas individuales en la planta superior. El porche cubierto entre los árboles será un lugar favorito para relajarse y escuchar el río. House se encuentra a 5 km de Calico Rock en el río White en la isla de Creswell. Parrilla de barbacoa y mesa de picnic situada en la cubierta. Mascota amigable.

We thoughly enjoyed our time at Riverhouse at Creswell Island on the White River. The house was very clean and comfortable, & the kitchen was well stocked. The king-sized bed we used was very comfortable. The screen porch was delightful; a great place to enjoy the sights & sounds of the environment, including the river.The surrounding area has some very quaint small towns that were fun to explore. Would definitely be willing to go back.

It was a wonderful stay!

We have a busy life and we were so happy to have had a wonderful, quiet, restful stay! The scenery was beautiful and it was so nice to have met Diane, who when we ask for anything to make our stay more comfortable, she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again and are planning to this fall!
This is in the back patio where you can see the river and your own dock where you can fish! Beautiful scenery!

Had a great time as always, the Hostess is the best and most accommodating!! The house is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and if you accidentally leave your shampoo at home this was our second time to go there and we will definitely be back

We truly enjoyed our time at the Riverhouse. Diane is the BEST! When we arrived the house was cool, clean, and smelled fabulous. Everything we needed (except food) was there. We spent every evening on the dock and watched the otters swim. I loved setting on the porch where it was quiet and peaceful. The only draw back was we ride Goldwing trikes that set low to the ground and the private road to the house was rocky but we learned to maneuver around the rough spots no problem.

Perfect little spot. Quiet, beautiful view of the river. Lots of hiking and biking close by - as well as fishing. Great brewery up the road making killer pizzas!

Beautiful riverhouse

The Riverhouse was clean and had all the comforts of home! This area is beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and viewing the fall foliage so much! Loved the screened in porch and having our own dock to use. Looking forward to coming back soon! Thanks Diane!

Wonderful, as always!

This was our 2nd stay at the Riverhouse, and we loved it again! Diane is the nicest person to work with, and the house has all you need for a comfortable getaway. The river is the star, though - such a beautiful spot! Hoping to come back again.

Perfect river getaway!

We absolutely loved the Riverhouse and this beautiful spot on the White River! As other reviewers have already said, the house is so thoughtfully fitted out with so many things to make you feel at home and able to relax. Diane is the best hostess, and the nicest person you could ever want to work with, and we are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Fishing Trip for my Boys

Diane was the perfect superhost! She provided everything to make your stay wonderful and is so easy to work with and very sweet. We stayed here two years ago and couldn’t wait to return. Calico Rock is incredibly peaceful and the house has all the comforts of home. We look forward to patiently waiting for the beaver or river otters to make their appearance morning and evening. Our host communicates so well and is incredibly kind.

The heavy rains on the hillside do effect the path to the boat dock and require maintenance after storms and this has been done. We added a second path when the Riverhouse became a rental and it is not as steep.

Very nice host

My guests just happened to be staying the week the owner of the house up the hill received approval and the rocks to repair his shoreline. He would be losing his boat dock if the repairs were not made. Yes there were big trucks and each time they passed the houses the drivers slowed down and apologized to me for the traffic. The crew did stop work each day at 3:30. In the future the other houses will need to have the same work done to save their boat docks. We are delighted to be able to share our boat docks with our guests but must do the required work to maintain them. This is a quiet dead end county road with only five houses located here on the White River.

I am a retired educator from Northeast Arkansas. We purchased the Riverhouse in 2012 and in 2013 purchased another house in the area.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The property can only be seen from the river unless you drive down the private drive. There are only 5 houses so it’s is a quiet neighborhood. The screened-in porch overlooking the river is my favorite place for morning coffee and relaxing in the late afternoon.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property comes with its own private boat dock for parking your boat during your stay. Our guests enjoy fishing from the boat dock, watching the eagles fly over and the cows drinking and cooling off across the river from the pasture. There are not many boat docks on the White River in this area and one of the main reasons we purchased this property.
