Amazing Stay in Astoria

A beautiful retreat, safe neighborhood, walking distance to ferry and train. Being a pianist, I also loved knowing that we were close to the Steinway factory. Thanks, Christina for a wonderful stay!

My daughter and I stayed in Christinas gorgeous apartment for 10 days and loved every minute of it. The photos do not lie, what you see is what you get, very comfortable and every amenity available. The location was perfect, a great 12 minute walk to the shops and station, very safe neighbourhood, and a quiet reprieve after the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Christina is a dream hostess who saw to our every need without any issue or delay. We loved staying here and would do so again. We highly recommend this gorgeous apartment for your next stay in New York.

Unforgettable trip to NYC

THANK YOU Christina for a wonderful stay in NYC. If we could give her 10 stars, we would!! From the time we booked our trip, she was so helpful and answered any questions we had. We arrived and everything was perfect. Our 4 year old son traveled with us and was so excited to find a few books and toys left out especially to greet him. We loved the location- just a quick walk to the subway, bus stops, and restaurants. We went into the city frequently during our stay, and it was so easy to find transportation and travel back and forth. Christina even told us about a local ferry ride, which we took one day and it was FANTASTIC and great views of Manhattan. She was such a wonderful host and went over the top to accommodate us and make sure we were taken care of during our visit. We are already looking to plan another trip back this summer. Thank you again for an unforgettable trip to NYC!

Great place to stay!

This apartment is so cute and comfortable and has everything you need. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, stores, grocery’s. Christina is quick at responding and willing to accommodate our stay. The check in process is the easiest I’ve experienced. Overall I would recommend and stay again! Yes

BEST PLACE EVER!

Christine was an INCREDIBLE host. This apartment was beautifully decorated and the bed was SO comfortable. The sheets were organic cotton and felt so nice against our skin! Christine was very responsive and I texted her throughout our stay. She provided coffee, creamer, shampoo, conditioner, and all the creature comfort one needs to have an incredible time. The apartment was in an amazing location and was only a 20 minute subway ride to Times Square. Next time, we will be bringing our children and will be staying here again. Thank you so much Christine! We had an incredible time!

Quick weekend visit with son

Christina was a great host with great information. The property was very clean and quiet. I never sleep well when traveling. This was a relaxing and quiet property. We weren’t there much but when we were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Comfy Studio in Quiet Astoria

Nicely decorated basement studio apartment about ten blocks from the Ditmars subway stop. Full-sized frig, small microwave, coffee maker, and a hot plate (no stove/oven). Very small bathroom. Astoria is a quiet and relatively clean neighborhood. This apartment is an $8 taxi/Uber ride to the Astoria Ferry. For us, the cluttered entrance and steep stairway into the basement made coming and going very awkward. If listing had clearly identified as basement with stairs, we would have searched for a different property.

My husband and I had a great weekend in NYC. Christina made sure all our needs were met. Her property is well kept and clean. It was easy to get to the subway and the neighborhood was nice. We will definitely stay there again.

Good vibes place!

Christina's home is a unique medium size space, absolutely cozy and well decorated. There is a charming backyard to relax and enjoy nature. Everything works perfect. Just to say one thing, it would be appreciated thicker curtains, because it gets too light in the morning, it's a little detail. The Astoria neighborhood is a wonderful, peaceful, full of shops and restaurants and where everyone has treated us with great sympathy.The metro service is 10 minutes on foot and it works fast and often . half an hour on foot you arrive to the port to take the ferry, for jist two dollars you will wnjoy the most beautiful ride and view in entire world troughr the east river. Although we have not been able to meet Christina in person, we have been accompanied and assisted at all times. definitely a success!

Nice place to stay in NYC!

We had a great experience staying at this property! First of all, I really enjoyed spending time in this neighborhood (Astoria), as it's a nice reminder that people actually live real, normal lives in NYC! There were plenty of shops and restaurants within an easy walk, as well as access to the MTA. It was easy to take the train into Manhattan (15 minutes) and to the US Open (30 minutes with a transfer). The property itself was everything that we hoped it would be. It was clean, had a decent bed and bathroom, and a nice kitchenette, which made it easy to eat breakfast in. The hosts were easy to work with...they made the check in and check out process straightforward and were very accomodating. A BIG plus was the guide to the property and neighborhood they provided when we arrived. All in all, I'd highly recommend this property to any couple or small family (I believe it can sleep up to four) that is looking for a "home base" while exploring NYC! :-)

Good Place to Visit NYC

My 13-year-old granddaughter and I ran into Christina when we checked in and had a pleasant encounter and quick orientation. She helped us get oriented to the nearest grocery store, Astoria Park, and the nearby subway station, which was very helpful. She wasn't really available after that but we didn't need much. The place was clean and the bed was so comfy! There was no spatula for cooking our morning eggs, but we made do. Coffee and other necessities were supplied and made it homey. It was an interesting neighborhood to experience, with mostly working class cigarette smokers of all ages and ethnicities, and we enjoyed eating at a couple of local restaurants. We felt safe when walking home from the subway late at night when returning from a Broadway show. We loved the park and we got used to our brisk walk to the subway to explore Manhattan...our three-day stay here was a nice way to begin our vacation!

Perfect Location, Comfortable Stay and Lovely Owner! Book Now!

Our family was blessed to experience a magical summer adventure in NYC, largely due to the welcoming, comfortable accommodations at Christina's lovely studio apartment. We truly fell in love with the neighborhood of Astoria and would highly recommend it for a long-term or short weekend stay. Astoria abounds with beautiful entry gardens, a welcoming community of local business owners, a population of cultural diversity, amazing restaurants and beautiful peaceful parks! Christina and family made us feel at home from the moment we booked the listing and throughout our 7 week stay. The home is perfectly positioned near subways, bus stops, ferries, shopping, restaurants, and parks with beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline. There are plenty of activities in the Astoria, Queens area, and it is just a short subway or ferry ride to Manhattan or Brooklyn. We traveled with our two children (ages 10 & 6) by subway, bus, ferry, Uber, and walking during our stay and always felt safe and "at home". The kitchen is fully equipped, the washer and dryer make life in the city SO much easier, the bed and futon are very comfortable, and Christina provides storage solutions to assist with long-term stays. We were thrilled with the hospitality shown to our family in Astoria. We enjoyed the home's quiet & peaceful location, the comfortable accommodations (and spacious for NYC), the safety and beauty of the neighborhood, and the helpful & loving spirit of Christina. BOOK NOW! You will NOT be disappointed with this lovely Astoria apartment!

Our New York trip.

After staying at this location I can understand why Christina receives so many wonderful reviews. She is a wonderful person. God bless her. The apt is clean and has home touch to it. And Astoria is a safe and quiet area. We walked around all hours of rhe night returning from the city and never uncomfortable. Just a couple blocks down is the East river and the Triborough park and play ground. Behind the play ground is a community pool. Just wonderful for the kids to cool off on a hot summers day. My daughters loved it. You have to walk about 8 blocks to get to the train station but its a nice stroll. Christina thank you for being such a wonderful hostess and looking forward to staying here in Astoria on our return to NYC.

Great Place in Astoria

Everything was great, the location was exactly what we needed. It's close to subway lines, plenty of restaurants nearby, and Christina was very accommodating. I would definitely stay again if we came back.

Beautiful and clean!!

We loved staying in this apartment for our baby moon... it’s about a 12 minute walk to the subway and 5 minutes from the bus stop that will get you to the airport. Lots of food options around if you don’t want to go far. The area is quiet. The apartment is bigger than the past ones we’ve stayed in. Everything is updated and clean and very well taken care of. When we got there, Christina had gotten my husbands favorite coffee and creamer. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our family of 4

As a family of 4 (including two young boys) we could not have been more pleased with our experience. Christina was very responsive to inquiries prior to our arrival as well as to texts DURING our stay. Accommodations are clean, convenient to public transit and in a very safe/fun neighborhood. Place has everything you would need for your trip, and is an absolute 'find' if looking for something near Manhattan without the Manhattan pricing. Thank you, Christina - if ever visiting New York again we WILL be back!

We are environmentally conscious and if that is something that appeals to you know that in this home you will be surrounded by cotton sheets, no VOC paints and fine cotton towels and linens and only green no impact cleaning products. Excellent for children and chemically sensitive. We also have a full house water filter.

Our location to Manhattan is so convenient and yet a respite of quiet in the evenings. Full house water filter. Beautifully decorated. Private. Pretty Garden in front and back. Great hosts! Two blocks from the most beautiful sunset views over the Manhattan skyline. Ability to attach this apartment with a larger one for more people. Organic sheets and all cotton linens and towels. No VOC products and whole house water filter, gentle green cleaning products. Pristine and new. Really like a fine hotel.
