Anniversary celebration

Perfect condo for a couples get away. View of beach is beautiful. Everything was very clean. Comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. A lot of towels. Keurig and coffee pot. AC very cold. Bed is comfortable. My only recommendation would be the unit could use a few extra blankets and trash bags. Thank you for renting to us.

Super clean and cute place with everything we needed

We stay at the Galvestonian a couple of times a year and this is the nicest unit we have ever stayed in. It has been recently redone and has a great homey feel. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Fantastic getaway!

The unit is beautifully decorated, comfortable and the kitchen offers all that one could want on a trip away from home. The property as a whole is well-maintained and the proximity to the beach is unmatched. Its amenities (towels, beach chairs/umbrellas for rent, patio furniture, etc.) make it an easy escape with a resort-like quality. Thank you. We'll be back!

Quick getaway

We have stayed in this unit before, so that may say what we think of the property, this unit, and this property manager. All are excellent. A wrinkle on this trip is that we had to evacuate (mandatory) due to Hurricane Laura. The property was great in making sure we knew what we had to do and the property manager called the night before letting us know the options and the day of when it became mandatory. She worked with us well, and I appreciate that.

Clean, renovated unit at Galvestonian

This was our second time renting this property in the past eat and a half. The Galvestonian is always so easy and clean and nice and this unit is the same. We did have a bit of problems with the fire alarm going off Several times the first night and second day, but after maintenance visited, the problems went away. Tricia was very quick to make sure that the building maintenance prioritized our request.

Nice place for the weekend....But

Lobby and staff were very pleasant. Condo was nice but really outdated. Shower door took some muscles to open and close. Shower needs to be updated really bad. Door knob to master fell off when trying to get out of room. Would recommend putting shades in the living area to block early sunlight. Other than that, I would recommend staying there. Didnt use the pool or facilities, so cannot comment on that.

Great location and nice condo

The condo is very clean and generally well kept. Location is great. Wonderful views and easy drive to restaurants. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Minor quibbles: Keurig was not as pictured, and the one on hand did not work properly. I had to hold it shut with both hands to make sure the water went through the pod. Also, if you plan to enjoy some wine, bring your own corkscrew. The one in the condo is pretty useless. Finally, I could not get the DW to start. The lights came on, but nothing happened when I pressed start and closed the door. Ended up hand washing the dishes, which actually was ok since we only used a few things. Again, these are all minor annoyances.

Perfect location and great condo!

We've been going annually to Galveston for about 7 years now. Usually we stay at the other end of the island, thinking the water will be clearer there since it is a distance from the ship channel. We couldn't have been more wrong! The water was a beautiful blue, and we could see our feet clearly in chest deep water. It was so gorgeous! And The Galvestonian is just the perfect place to stay. Sergio the GM is very friendly and approachable, and knowledgeable about his property and the area. And everything is unbelievably clean. They are constantly straightening up by the pool, making sure there is fresh coffee and fruit water all day, and grounds maintenance is amazing. We spent hours sitting on our balcony looking out to the water and the beautiful pool and grounds. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating. This brings us to our condo unit itself. I can't imagine a better place to stay. The floor to ceiling windows are outstanding. It just draws you out to the balcony. There wasn't a speck of dust to be found in this unit,. It was so clean, just like the rest of the property. And obviously extremely well taken care of. The decor was sleek and modern, but definitely welcoming. Very well appointed, we had everything we needed. We thought we had a problem with the wifi, but it turned out to be us. Trixie was quick to reply to our email about it, and was ready to find a solution within minutes. I'd love to stay here again next year, and perhaps every year!

The condo was great with very comfortable bed. All the amenities you could ask for with the exception of a washer/dryer but they do have one in the bldg for guests. We were told we were very fortunate to be there at a time when the water was beautiful and blue. All in all we had a great first time visit to Galveston.

Galveston property

Great location on east beach area away from the busy tourist seawall area. A great place for adults to stay and play without all the tourists. We frequent Galveston several times a year and stayed in this property twice. It’s almost like staying at a private resort but there is no restaurant on property which is not an issue if you know your way around Galveston.

I have stayed at the Galvestonian many times over the years and have found the properties most enjoyable. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in this five star rated unit. I didn’t find the furniture comfortable in the living or dining area. The plastic stools and dining chairs were uncomfortable, and the dining table wobbles. The sofa was more comfortable, but only marginally. Fortunately, the bed was very comfortable and this made up for quite a bit. The kitchen is has most of the things you will need, but I wasn’t overly impressed with quality or extras. The dishwasher didn’t work and communicating with the manager while she tried to explain how to make it work it always failed and eventually a repair man was called, but the results of his investigation was not communicated to me and I had to contact the property manager to find out that the dishwasher couldn’t be repaired. This is not five star communication although the communication prior had been reasonable. I will return at the Galveston Inn in the future, but I will never stay in this unit again.

Oceanfront beauty!

We always love this property. Everything is as pictured; love the Brita, comfy bed, everything you need for a vacation at the beach. The only thing I can think of that would be helpful is a dryer, but totally understand that too — so we come prepared, but even beach towels are provided though. Everything you need and more!

Me and my best friend go to Galveston every summer for a week. The previous condo we used to stay in in the same building was sold so we had to find a new condo - and this was definitely the one!Location is optimal because the beach is never crowded. The amenities in this building (The Galvestonian) are unmatched by any other. The pool, hot tub and deck are amazing and there are large wagons available to take all your gear to the beach. This unit is on the 5th floor so the view is incredible.The unit itself is well equipped with a Keurig, regular coffee pot, beach towels (2, that you can change out at the front desk), adjustable split king bed, dishwasher (and pods), a well-stocked kitchen and even dish soap.The balcony has two tall adirondack chairs and a small table.The property group is responsive and professional. We will definitely be back!
