What a beautiful home! You can trust the photos - it is a wonderful space for a family or friends vacation. The kitchen invites you to cook and share meals. The outdoor space is serene and lovely. The walk into town is easy. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue was a perfect central location for exploring Provence. Claude and Julia were always available if we needed. Thank you!

The home could not be more beautiful and welcoming. We were two couples who had plenty of space and a wonderful kitchen to cook several dinners. The location was very near the city center and was a great base to go in our rental car to several lovely villages.Claude and Juliet were very good hosts and were very attentive to a small and quickly fixed issue. Would highly recommend this beautiful home.

This is an outstanding property that has everything one could think for a pleasant home away stay. Easy access to the old town, as well as surrounding hill top towns. The range of amenities at the property exceed all expectations.The owners are super helpful and communicative. Easily one of the nicest properties we have stayed in.

Everything (apart from the weather) was perfect. The host / the villa / the village / the market / the regional villages. Unfortunately the weather in Feb was not ideal. But I will certainly go back to enjoy it in even greater splendour. Highly recommended.

This rental was a great home base for all our travels through Provence. We had a very comfortable and private home with lots of space for our stay. Everything was perfect.

Wonderful stay

Very easy all around! We loved the yard and pool. Very comfortable for a couple and another family. We were there during a heat wave and downstairs and separate apartment stayed super cool. Upstairs ac couldn’t keep up but relief was downstairs and the pool. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Perfect home

Lovely home in Sur la Sorgue! The house was perfect and well appointed. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The house was located on a branch of the Sorgue. The walk to town was very easy. We had a delightful time!

Fantastic place for relaxation and fun!

We had a fantastic stay. The house is beautiful and better than pictured. The yard offers great privacy and a relaxing atmosphere. The property was safe for a toddler and lots of fun (pool/arcade) for kids and teens. Check in was fairly easy though the gate was a little difficult to find at first. Use google maps to view before arrival and then the property is easy to find. The balance for tranquility.

Beautiful stream side house with everything

The host was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Numerous bikes made the 5 minute ride into town a joy. Many beds and baths and a great layout for being together. 20 - 30 mallard ducks to feed made it that much better.

Excellent stay

We stayed as six adults and a small dog and everything was excellent and as expected. The house is conveniently located to walk to the town centre. It had everything we needed, and was big, spacious, with a mix of interesting and modern and artsy decorative pieces and furniture. The owner and his daughter were very prompt to answer any questions and fix a couple of small issues during our stay. The ice cold river at the back of the house was a nice extra touch when temperatures reached 38C during our stay :-)

Provence vacation

This property was perfect! We have been to this town previously and loved it. This time we wanted to bring our family and be able to walk to town and this house was wonderful. We had 6 adults and we had lots of room. The kitchen was wonderful and so many glasses and dishes! The rooms and property were beautiful and the house was extremely clean. I highly recommend this property to anyone and hope to return in the future

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The house very clean with so many amentities! It was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was amazing! It had everything you needed. Our gracious host even had an amazing tart and bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Our host was waiting for us on arrival and showed us everything we needed during our stay. I can't say enough about this home and we will definitely come back! It was a close walk to town so we didn't have to drive and find parking. The town offered so many great restaurants and unique stores for shopping. Everyone was so friendly and hospitible. You won't be disappointed

Provence at its best

This was a lovely home with a gorgeous garden overlooking the Seine. The pool was refreshing (but small). It was close to town, but somewhat difficult to find in an area of commercial buildings, but once you got back in there, it was very peaceful. The mattresses were extremely firm. I would recommend this rental, L’Isle -sur-la-Sorgue is a wonderful town to visit.

If you are planning a trip to the south of France, look no further than this home in L’isle de la Sorgue. Our communications up until our arrival were handled perfectly by Julia. Once we arrived at the house, we opened the door and discovered one of the most beautiful, well decorated and comfortable spaces we have ever visited. The furnishings and decor are perfect. The kitchen had everything you could want and more.Shortly after check in, Claude came by to show us around the property and explain how everything works and answer our questions.The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice as well. The game room was a fun place to hang out after busy days exploring the area. A day trip to Avignon is a must, along with visiting the ruins in St Remy. We also went and explored the caves in Le Thor. If you are lucky enough to be in town on a Sunday, be sure to check out the Farmer’s Market, just a short walk downtown. You’ll find many restaurants, shops, a beautiful church and the famous waterwheels in town.This is such a special place to spend your vacation in southern France. I would love to return some day!Thank you so much to Claude and Julia for their hospitality and sharing their wonderful home with us.

Extra information

The stay was perfect in every way. The only little thing missing was a detailed information on the house in a central folder e.g. wifi code, gate code, rubbish information / disposal, cleaning (or not), washing machine, tv, bluetooth for music (many speakers, but perhaps not b/tooth enabled?). Very little things that we eventually worked out, but have had at other house stays. Great house for a large family! Merci!!

All Around Amazing Experience -- Expérience incroyable tout autour!

We booked this house nearly a year out for an important anniversary to be shared with family and friends. The listing appealed to us due to the number of rooms in the house and the amenities — the house itself is everything describe and much, much more. To start, it's located on a private driveway in a quiet neighborhood of town, easily walkable to the center. The photos don't lie: this property is gorgeous and very well kept. The main house features a master bedroom with en suite bath, plus two bedrooms, with the ability to sleep additional people; there's also an attached guest house with a lofted bedroom and additional sleeping, which was ideal for smaller friend groups to have their own private space. There's a heated pool outdoors and plenty of seating... along with regular visits from the local ducks on the river. The owner and his daughter communicated rapidly and responded immediately to the only minor issue we had — and proactively reached out to inquire if we wanted the pool cleaned during our stay after a wind storm knocked down a bunch of leaves. I cannot recommend this property enough! --- Nous avons réservé cette maison il y a près d'un an pour un anniversaire important à partager avec notre famille et nos amis. L'annonce nous a séduit en raison du nombre de pièces de la maison et de ses commodités : la maison elle-même est tout ce qui est décrit et bien plus encore. Entspannte Familienzeit

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit mit der Familie. Trotz hochsommerlicher Temperaturen hat man immer irgendwo ein schattiges Plätzchen gefunden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und dass man die Räder mitbenutzen konnte, war einfach toll. Jederzeit wieder

Great manager and close to town

Great property, close to town and with a very helpful manager. The gardens were lovely and the house practical. The bedrooms were air-conditioned, but the living room and kitchen were not, but you can open up the doors to the terrace. Overall a goo rental.
