La panadería - albergue 4 *

Recién restaurada edificio en un terreno privado, 4/6 personas. En la sala de planta baja de 40 m2, incluyendo una cocina, comedor y sala de estar con aseo / lavabo. Planta alta 2 dormitorios con 1 cama de 160 y 2 camas de 100/110 cm, cuarto de baño y WC separado. También hay una gran terraza rodeada de césped y un estacionamiento.
La cabaña está equipada con horno, microondas, placa de cocina, lavavajillas, lavadora-secadora, aspiradora, fuego chimenea, TV con reproductor de DVD / Blue Ray, radio CD, sala de estar jardín con sombrillas, tumbonas.
calefacción por suelo radiante en 2 niveles es proporcionada por una bomba de calor geotérmica.
Posibilidad para dormir de 2 personas adicionales (más allá de 4) en el cómodo sofá-cama (extra de 40 € / semana). Ropa de cama y toallas a la llegada.
Acceso a Internet y teléfono (teléfonos fijos y móviles de Francia, con exclusión de los números especiales)
Posible servicio de limpieza (50 €)
El edificio es completamente independiente en una parcela de 450 m2 con entrada privada, estacionamiento de 2 coches, puerta de metal cerrada con llave. Gran terraza soleada todo el día.
Alquiler semanal solamente, de sábado 3 p.m. a sábado 10 a.m. Indique la hora estimada de llegada.
Debido a la duplicación en un año del impuesto turístico y para no penalizar a nuestros huéspedes, decidimos desmantelar voluntariamente nuestro alojamiento de 5 a 4 estrellas. sin embargo, sigue siendo muy cómodo. Abritel cargará el impuesto municipal (1,50 € por noche y por persona mayor de 18 años (¡3 € por 5 estrellas!)). La casa es para no fumadores.

Beautiful house in a quiet area

We only stayed a week, but loved the house. It is clean, very complete and in a nice quiet surrounding. The interior and exterior are both beautiful, and with the good weather we had, we enjoyed the garden very much. Lots of activities in the area, without feeling overcrowded with tourists. Pretty sure, we will visit The Bakery once more!

D-Day 80

Third visit to this beautiful property. About 15 minutes from St Mere Eglise and 10 minutes from Utah beach. Very peaceful location and ideal for relaxing away from the crowds. Plenty of WW2 museums and/or other places of interest to explore close by. The property owners, Catherine and Jean, are very helpful hosts and available if needed. Another wonderful stay.

Well, everything was just wonderful. The house, the place, the silence, the help, the chicken, the kitchen, the landscapes, the ocean and of course Catherine and Jean. They were so friendly and helped us so much. That was perfect!

Lovely property in a great area that was just perfect for our family holiday.

Such a nice place to stay. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect. Excellent hosts provided a lovely welcome with eggs from their hens and a tour of the gite. The area is lovely and quiet yet close to the coast and some of the villages and towns to visit. We walked to the beach and cycled through the area. The gite is very well equipped and fantastically clean. We used the BBQ and enjoyed garden and patio most evenings. Our two children loved the hens coming by to say hello and the fields nearby had horses, cows and donkeys. Fully recommend a stay at this place

Exceptional

An idyllic gite in tranquil surroundings in which to 'switch-off' and relax. We received a warm welcome from our hosts Catherine (who spoke perfect English)and Jean. The gite has all mod cons equipped with towels and bedding AND the bedding and towels are changed weekly. We wanted for nothing. Cleaning products were also supplied. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Thank you Catherine and Jean for your kindness and hospitality. Barbara & David. England.

Einfach Traumhaft

Tolle Unterkunft in einer Gegend mit viel Geschichte. Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen so wie wir uns das im Urlaub vorstellen. Gastgeber sind super nett - Kommunikation auf Englisch kein Problem. Catherine spricht fliesend Englisch und auch ein wenig deutsch. Der Sandstrand ist mega - sauber und oft hat man ihn ganz allein für sich. Wir kommen wieder 👍

Absolut empfehlenswert - Urlaub pur!

Wer ein liebevoll restauriertes, sehr sauberes, top ausgestattetes, ruhig und strandnah gelegenes Ferienhausaus mit schönem Garten für einen entspannten Urlaub in der Normandie sucht, hat es hier gefunden. Die sehr sympathischen Gastgeber bieten ihren Gästen wirklich alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht und machen einem die Abreise damit sehr schwer. Es ist dort einfach nur schön!

Magnifique

Catherine en Jean zijn geweldige gastheer/vrouw. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien: een goed uitgeruste keuken, kleien maar comfortabele badkamer, uitstekende bedden. Bij aankomst was het huis schoon, goed onderhouden. We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Al vaker in dit deel van Frankrijk geweest, maar ook nu weer nieuwe dorpjes/steden ontdekt. Catherine en Jean, ontzettend bedankt dat we in jullie huis mochten verblijven en dankjewel voor alle behulpzaamheid (en de lekkere eitjes 😉)

Uitstekend verzorgd huis op mooie lokatie

Zeer gastvrije ontvangst door Catherine en Jean. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en ligt op een mooie rustige lokatie maar niet afgelegen. Tips: Cape La Haque met een heerlijk restaurantje in de haven. Vanaf Cape La Haque langs de kust rijden naar Barfleur. Saint Vaast la Hoque en neem een kijkje in Maison Gosselin, een warenhuis met voor ieder wat wils. Bayeux, stad die gespaard is gebleven tijdens WOII, met het tapijt over de Slag om Hastings en bezoek de kathedraal. Duik in de levende historie van WOII alle lokaties zijn binnen 5 minuten of 1 uur te bereiken. Conclusie: topvakantie op een toplokatie in een tophuis. Dank jullie wel Catherine en Jean.

ein Stück vom Paradies

Wir hatten traumhafte Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus! Es war unser 6. Aufenthalt in der Normandie und wir sind absolut begeistert von diesem Ferienhaus, was super liegt und top ausgestattet ist. Dazu supernette Vermieter, die sich toll um uns gekümmert haben und mit uns ihren Teil vom Paradies geteilt haben. Die Ruhe und wunderschöne Natur dort haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir von Minute eins an im Urlaubsmodus waren. Ein traumhaftes Ferienhaus, in das wir gerne nochmal wiederkommen werden.

Wat een fijne plek

We hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad in The Bakery. Heel erg goed verzorgd en we zijn heel vriendelijke door Jean en Catherine ontvangen. Hele fijne rustige omgeving en ligt goed centraal tussen locaties die je in Normandië zou willen of kunnen bezoeken. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Het huis biedt alle comfort wat je nodig hebt.

Wonderful property in peaceful location

We have just returned from a marvellous stay at The Bakery (4 to 11 June 2022). We used the property as a base for the DDay commemorations and to explore the many WW2 historical museums and other locations in the area. The property is in an excellent location, enabling us to relax and unwind after a busy day out and about. The property was very clean with lots of kitchen equipment, storage and useful books/maps/information to browse through. We have already booked another stay for 2024, but for 2 weeks. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to others. Andrew & Alaina

The finest stay you can have!

My wife and I stayed at Catherine and Jean's property for two weeks in March-April 2022. I cannot relay what a wonderful experience we had staying at their beautiful property. Catherine and Jean have thought about every detail that goes into making your vacation/holiday worry free. The home/gite is a newly renovated 200+ year old village bakery and is simply wonderful! It has two full bedrooms with three beds total and a sofa sleeper is needed. All furnishings are provided along with all bedding and towels. The kitchen is fantastic, if you would be staying during the winter months and if restaurant schedules would be a challenge. You can make great meals with all items provided in their detailed kitchen at the home. Catherine and Jean are close by if any need would arise, but they provide total privacy. Séjour estivale en famille

Très belle prestation. Séjour en famille à quatre dont deux enfants, 3 et 7 ans. Maison très propre, très bien équipée et très agréable. Accueil parfait de là part des propriétaires, avec des attentions à l’arrivé ainsi que durant le séjour, qui font toute la différence. Je recommande à tout point de vue. Nous y retournerons À coup sûr.

Sehr gene wieder einmal

Schöne alte Bäckerei, auf das Feinste renoviert. Ein passender Ort zum Lesen, Kochen und Entspannen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge, Fahrradtouren in die Umgebung und an das Meer. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Entspannungsurlaub

Geschmackvoll und wertig restauriertes Haus mit allem was man sich wünscht. Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich und ruhig, aber die Infrastruktur ist mit Fahrrad/PKW sehr gut erreichbar. Danke, sehr erholsame 14 Tage.

Sept Stay 2020

The house is immaculate and has everything one might need. The owners are very friendly and treated us to a home made cider and apple juice and also home grown tomatoes and chicken eggs. To my sons delight chickens came to visit us every day. The location is very quiet and peaceful, close to Utah beach and with lots of places to visit nearby. I can’t think of a better place to have spent our holiday.

Le charme du Cotentin!

Heerlijke en zeer rustig gelegen gîte op een prachtig domein in volle natuur. Alle comfort, volledig uitgerust met alles wat je maar kan bedenken. Zeer netjes en verzorgd met zeer kwaliteitsvolle materialen en toestellen. Op 10 minuten fietsen van zee met een uitstekende fiets die voorzien werd door de eigenaar. Als er een Oscar bestond voor ontvangst en gastvrijheid dan zouden Jean en Cathérine, die ons zeer hartelijk ontvangen hebben, deze zeker winnen. Ze gaven veel informatie en waren steeds beschikbaar bij vragen. Een absolute aanrader voor wie houdt van rust, de natuur, wandelingen en zee. Charmant gîte très calme sur un beau domaine en pleine nature. Tout confort, entièrement équipé avec tout ce à quoi vous pouvez penser. Très soigné et bien rangé avec des matériaux et des appareils de haute qualité. A 10 minutes à vélo de la mer avec un excellent vélo fourni par le propriétaire. S'il y avait un Oscar de l'accueil et de l'hospitalité, Jean et Cathérine, qui nous ont reçus très chaleureusement, le gagneraient certainement. Ils ont donné beaucoup d'informations sur la région et étaient toujours disponibles pour des questions. Un must absolu pour ceux qui aiment le calme, la nature, les promenades et la mer.
