It was such a treat to have Michael's family during the eclipse event. They were very personable and a joy to have as guests; they cleaned the area well and were very respectful of my property. Very sweet people. I'm so happy they had a great time. I hope our paths cross again.

I am sorry Matthew that you were not happy. I have never had anyone not enjoy their stay, folks have always enjoyed it here...this makes me sad. I asked several times if there was anything you needed or how I could help...you never indicated you were unhappy. You are right, I forgot to fix the towel bar from the previous guests. As soon as I remembered, I couldn't believe that I had forgotten. I text you to say I would be down to fix it while you were gone, however, you said you already did. After you left, I fixed it properly. I apologize that I forgot to do that prior to your stay. I also believe that I mentioned to you that they had broken the reclining part of the couch (2 days prior) so I am in the process of fixing that - I may have to get a new couch, after looking closer at it, I'm not sure it can be fixed. I state in the description exactly what is offered and that I currently have a kitchenette, not a full kitchen; I also offered to cook anything for you that you needed. Due to the influx of guests, I am putting a stainless steel stove in this fall, it was just delivered. I had just cleaned the grill prior to your arrival so I'm a little confused there. Also, guests have the entire 1650 sq. ft, 3 bedroom, kitchenette, lower level; it is the entire space, with a separate entrance; I have seating outside for 8 people, and a dining table for 6; king bed, queen bed, and day bed w/trundle. I remember you booked for 2 adults and 3 kids, however, 11 teenagers poured out of the lower level and 5 adults. Thank goodness there was enough room down there to house everyone. I didn't say anything about the change because I just wanted you all to have fun and it sounded like everyone had a good time, including your nephew who played the piano, I'm so glad I had just gotten it tuned. Liz was great. I loved meeting her friends and hanging out with them, I just wish it was longer. I would love to host these ladies again. I am thrilled that they stayed with me for a get-away weekend! Happy trails ladies!
