Excelente apartamento de 4 dormitorios con una vista impresionante con vistas al "mar de paja de Lisboa" y la ciudad vieja, con dos terrazas: una gran terraza con terraza sillas, una encantadora suite tiene su terraza privada ahogada en el verdor. El piso está ubicado en el exclusivo y tranquilo barrio de Lapa, a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad. Espacio de trabajo separado con escritorios cerca de wifi.

Our family and friends enjoyed this home immensely. The beds were comfortable, the home was perfect allowing each couple to have their own space while at the same time enabled us to share meals together. The neighborhood was safe and was convenient to grocery stores, excellent restaurants, and transportation. The views were great too.

Great location in a spacious apartment

Our group of 6 adults was very comfortable here. There was plenty of room for everyone. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to bus and trolley. Fantastic view of the water from a large balcony on the top floor.

September 2019 stay

Very nice roomy and clean place. We loved the patio with the fantastic view. Inès was really helpful. Overall we were very happy and recommend it.

Great spot- basically Hogwarts in Lisbon, in the best possible way. Eccentric and lovely. Great rooms, all with ensuites, and a fab terrace for that very necessary crispy cold cerveja at day’s end. Thank you Francois!

Beautiful view

Everything about our stay was excellent—from initial communications to having a slight problem at the house fixed immediately. The house is spacious with lots of places to be together and nice places to curl up and be alone!! The view is spectacular— beautiful sunsets! We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the river. The house is up several flights of stairs but there is a lift for the luggage which was very helpful. You trade off not being in the city center, but we found the location lovely after very busy days of touring.

Amazing deck views

There wer 8 couples so we each had a bedroom and washroom. Place was well stocked with cleaning supplies, etc. We found the place a wee bit cluttered and dark in the tv room. The layout was a bit weird but probably due to the age of the building. We spent most of theme on the top floor which was equipped with another kitchen and access to the deck overlooking the river. The host was quick to answer any questions and helpful with suggestions. The ad did mention about a parking spot but it wasn't available when we were there. Location in the Lapa district was good. The unit was located a corner along 2 main streets but relatively quiet compared to the more central neighbourhoods but those area were walkable within 20 - 30 mins. I would recommend the place.

Hot stay!!

We were 4 couples renting this place. The house is clean, beautiful with all old charms. The views from the terrace was amazing and the house is in a great quite neighborhood. The listing was a bit misleading because it said the house has AC but the AC was only on the top floor and not in bedrooms. Unfortunately there was a huge heat wave when we were there and the fans were not sufficient. One couple from our group couldn’t bear the heat and moved to a hotel. I hope they fix the listing. We complained to the host about the listing and he is blaming VRBO for the misleading info on the website.

Luxury 3 story Penthouse apartment (authentic Lisbon experience)

The Lift does not work. The air conditioning is only on the third floor. There are electric fans in each room. The owner was very gracious. He kept checking on us via email to make sure we were doing okay. He allowed us to check in early. The residence is spectacular. The penthouse apartment is about 60 steps from the front door. The steps are beautiful, marble. They are only about 4 feet in length. A. 1st Floor- kitchen with attached dining room, Butlers Pantry, first bedroom with ensuite bathroom, large living room with 2 rooms w TV There is an attached dining room which can fit 8 people. There is a small Terrace next to the dining room. The back of the apartment opens into the backyard of several apartments. It is a nice airy feeling. The kitchen is large. It has a gas stove. We never used the stove. There are 2 sinks. There is plenty of space. The appliances were newer. They were modern. There is a washing machine next to the refrigerator. There is no dryer. People hang their clothing to dry. It is humid overnight in October so you have to leave it out during the day for it to dry. There was a Bosch Dishwasher. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed that is firm. The ensuite was large with a shower and bidet. Lovely tilework. No bathtub on this level. B. 2nd Floor- there is a large hallway and 3 bedrooms with 3 ensuite bathrooms. The Master bedroom is massive. It has a large sitting room with chairs and two small desks. The bedrooms are private. There is plenty of bedding and towels. The mattresses were firm (great for me). The Master looks out onto the front of the house. =The outside shutters are easy to maneuver. you pull the cord towards you to have them come down. The bathroom was great. There is a large shower with a rain shower coming from the ceiling (great for tall people). The water pressure was excellent. The second floor bedroom #3 has a queen bed that is firm. The ensuite was large with a shower/ Tub. Lovely tilework. The second floor bedroom #4 has a queen bed that is firm.The ensuite has a shower/bathtub combo. Lovely tilework. C. 3rd floor- Large Living room with a large Terrace overlooking the Tagus River. The vistas are lovely. This is a fun hangout space. It had a daybed and 6 chairs. great games area. No TV. The wifi did not work on the third level. This area has a small second kitchen with a small refrigerator. There is a full bathroom with a shower up there. kids could bunk here .

Gorgeous Home with a Fantastic Outdoor Deck

We felt like we were staying in a wealthy established Lisbon home. Beautifully decorated. Much nicer than a typical VRBO. And the 5th floor deck is fabulous with great views. We enjoyed wine in the evenings while gazing at the river and all the boats. The home is fully supplied and has everything you need, including an ostrich (Marge). We have stayed at many VRBO's all over the world and this is probably the nicest one.

Lisbon’s hidden gem

A wonderful apartment with spacious, eclectic rooms full of charm and history. The balcony affords all day sun and sensational panoramas of the Tagus. Couldn’t ask for more !!

Fun place with a great terrace

This is a great place that was super fun for the kids (lots of rooms and 3 floors to explore) while still being beautiful for the adults. Biggest drawcard is the terrace - so wonderful and surprisingly (very) quiet to sit there at any time of the day - just needs a little wall fan for the heatwave days! Beds were all comfortable, and all rooms had ensuites, which was great. The shutters on the windows ensured the place stayed cool enough during the day and we opened the windows and used the bedroom fans at night which was perfect. We didn't really use the kitchen so I can't comment on that, but there is plenty of glasses and amenities, so we were happy. Only negatives are it is at the top of 4 flights of stairs which is something to be aware of - but that's why you get the great view ;) , and we had some confusion over how many beds were actually in each room, but I imagine that's been amended in the listing now. Our host was very quick to reply, and very helpful. A great stay that I recommend!

Great Apartment near the water

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this apartment. It was very spacious and each of the 3 adult couples had their own bedroom and bathroom. We loved the common space on the top level with a terrace that gave us a view of the water. We had everything we needed. Excellent restaurants were within walking distance and a grocery store was nearby. The building did not have an elevator, but we were fine with taking our luggage up the stairs. The unit does not have air conditioning, but we were ok. It would have been nice to have floor fans at night. Would stay here again!

Discovering Lisbon

Francois and his Lisbon team are extraordinary hosts. Response to every inquiry, request and assistance was immediate. The apartment is grand with old world charm. Very comfortable for a large group, with lots of privacy. We were 7 adults and everyone was comfortable. Some areas could use some updating and a bit of repair, but the location and views are superb. Be prepared to climb hills and stairs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ideal Home for Exploring Lisbon

This property was amazing. Very well furnished, comfortable for the 7 of us travelling together, with splendid views of the river. Check-in/check out was very smooth, and the owner was exceptionally helpful when we had questions about the area. The location was close to the train station, and the city was an easy walk. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again next time we visit Lisbon.
