Excellent place to stay!

Our family of 5 loved our stay at glacier Creek! The area is beautiful with great hikes and easy access to viewing beautiful mountains and glaciers. The place had a lot of room to spread out and we loved having multiple bathrooms. The hot tub was great too after a full day of hiking!

The home was very clean and accommodated our group well. It was within easy walking distance of the Girdwood attractions; cafes, shopping, brewery, and was even a reasonable 2 mile walk to Alyeska Resort.

What a week!

We definitely picked the perfect place to stay. The condo was well equipped for all our needs. Being able to walk to the store and restaurants was a huge plus. We could definitely see making a return trip. There's so much to see and do in alaska. And the hot tub was great for relaxing after some very long hikes.

The good: The condo was clean, the hot tub was a great feature, the kids had fun with the foosball table. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious, the location was excellent. The not so good: The comforters on some of the beds were ripped

Gorgeous and convenient in Girdwood

Beautiful place. Very comfortable. The beds were great. Showers work well. Hot water readily available. Lots of room. Lots of great hikes nearby. If you plan to do laundry bring detergent as a packet for one load is all that is provided. Kitchen has very basic supplies. If you plan on cooking bring all your ingredients. They have salt but that’s pretty much it.

Lovely Stay

We stayed at this property in June 2024. Everything was clean and ready. The hot tub was filled and ready for use. Everything was as advertised and we thought it was a great location. We were worried because of recent, previous reviews, but we were pleased. I would not hesitate to book again.

Property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Good location within walking distance to some restaurants. One of the bunk beds in the kids' room is a little wonky (metal bed with full bottom bunk but isn't well supported so it didn't stay level). Nice decor with ski posters, great "ski-chalet" vibe.

Enjoyable stay

Enjoyed our time there. Good location for our activities in Whittier and Girdwood areas. Hot tub was great. Doors in bedrooms don't close as door jambs have shifted (they need to plane off the top of the doors a bit) and add some more spoons (only have 3 dinner spoons vs the 6 of us who stayed there). Kithen was nice. Washer and dryer were perfect for our family mid trip.

Good location but needs improvement

Location is perfect! However, some improvements needed in terms of the quality of bedding and crockery. Most of the cutlery is broken and is very annoying.

Spring Break 2020

Loved the condo and location is perfect. Walking distance to the center of Girdwood. Views from all windows were great. Beds and pillows were all very comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace! My only issue was the lockbox did not work 99% of the time. The pillow shams were dirty and the couch in the master bedroom needs a washable slip cover or a good cleaning. I would stay here again.

Find Someplace Else!

Bare sheetrock with nails sticking out in the bathroom, kitchen cabinets were dirty, oven filthy, hot tub was so low on water it was sucking air, fireplace didn't work, the "comforter" on my bed was an unzipped sleeping bag. Vacasa, said they would send someone over and no one ever showed. This was the worst Girdwood rental I have ever been in and I have been coming here for twenty years.

Very nice rental

The property was very nice and clean the only issues we had was the small stuff. The ice maker didnt work so we had to go get ice and my biggest gripe was there was no tv unless you had an apple account for apple tv or watch their movies. We had to go to Anchorage anyway so i picked up a chromecast so we could watch normal tv. We really had no complaints we would definitely stay there again. One thing to remember is in October double musky and others shut down down for shoulder season which im not a fan of i was hoping to eat there its been years so maybe in another 5 years.

I regret not reading the fine print and I can't believe I paid 422.00 to stay here. The place was nice enough. But wasn't thinking about the two flights of stairs, property fee, no internet and no coffee and no nightstands by the beds. It was definitely the most expensive night we have had since vacationing in Alaska and we've been to some nice hotels up in Denali. I would not make this choice again. Wish them well but I would suggest that anyone doing rentals should stay in the place for at least a week so they can see some of the nice things that are needed to make the place better for their clientele. I tripped 3 times on the rug at the entryway. Also, the bed is so high up that you can barely see the tv from the master bed. The hot tub was nice. I wish I could have gotten a room at the Alyeska hotel. It would have been so nice.

Great location

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this condo. The hot tub was great on the deck. The area is quiet and the beds were comfy. I have stayed in a few homes in this area and this condo is one of my favorites.

Great place Clean Great location Beds were a bit firm but that is just a matter of preference. Ottomin latches were broken so had a small tumble..no serious injury. Some wood rot due to water damage in master bath. Would stay here again!

The property is spacious, clean and peaceful. Conveniently located in Girdwood with easy access to Alyeska Skiing resort and also to the town of Whittier for taking cruises to the Prince William Sound. Lovely 2Bedroom2.5bath condo with amenities like hot tub, a huge collection of movies, a foosball table and more. Beautiful views of the mountains from the bedrooms as well as the kitchen. Lots of activity for birders like me too! Excellent choice to call this property Home away from home. I wish I could stay longer at this property.

The property is huge and clean and beautiful and very conveniently located between Anchorage and Whittier with easy access to Alyeska resort. It is a place you can call home away from home with gorgeous views of the mountains from both sides of this condo. The neighborhood is peaceful with lots of birding activity. Amenities are fantastic with a hot tub, foosball table and a huge collection of movies. Two areas of improvement: 1. Better instructions for checking in since the entry lock is a bit complicated 2. The kitchen could be stocked with some more cooking spatulas
