Apartamento ideal para dos o cuatro personas, pero puede alojar hasta cinco o seis.
El apartamento está situado en una zona tranquila en el centro del pueblo de Marinella di Selinunte, ofrece una vista impresionante del mar y el puerto deportivo, está a solo 5 minutos del parque arqueológico y a un minuto de la playa.
Extendiéndose en dos pisos, el apartamento tiene dos entradas: en el nivel superior estaba la sala de estar con cocina, baño con ducha y el balcón con vista al mar; en el piso debajo de los dormitorios y el baño con bañera. Desde la segunda entrada, se asoma a una pequeña terraza con vistas a una calle residencial que no está muy concurrida y reservada.
Excepto julio y agosto, la calle está reservada para huéspedes de apartamentos y especialmente para niños.
El acogedor apartamento es ideal para unas vacaciones relajantes.

Lovely village

Having stayed in August we aware it would be very warm but the property had air con ......well the air con was over the front top door and the bed rooms were 1 and 2 floors below , so could not benefit from it , and property had WiFi it said on the details .......we had WiFi for 5 days out of the 14 , very annoyed at this . But overall we really enjoyed our stay and all the local restaurants served lovely food and the apartment was very close to the beach . The beach could have done with raking because there was wood everywhere and horrible sea weed as you entered the water .....would not go back to the resort as it has a terrible problem with parking and rubbish collection , if you can overcome this give it a visit , we are quite easy going but it does stress you out .

Entspannter Urlaub

Eine sehr schöne saubere Unterkunft an super Lage. Die zwei schönen Strände wie das Zentrum mit Bars, Läden und Eisdielen und ein Supermarkt sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. In der ruhigen Wohnung fehlt es an nichts, auch die kleine Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und einen erholsamen Urlaub genossen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns auch gute Auflugtipps gegeben. Ebenfalls ist das Restaurant Pierrot mit schönem Ausblick auf s Meer mit gutem Essen sehr zu empfehlen.

We spent five gorgeous days in this very special place of the world. The apartment is situated just a couple of steps next to the ocean; was very clean and cozy and has a spectacular view over the harbor. Just the perfect place to relax and enjoy. Spacious apartment in a great location

The apartment was bright, spacious and very clean, with a great sea view from the balcony of the living room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped to cook at home if you wish. Parking right outside was no problem. Marinella has plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, the beach and of course the archaeological park. All are within walking distance. Be sure to try the owner's restaurant Pierrot, which is excellent. We also liked FrescoMare, DAG Pizzeria, Bar Pinguino and Lido Zabbara. The nearby town of Castelvetrano has larger shops and supermarkets, and the churches of San Domenico and San Giovanni Battista (thanks to Carol at Pierrot for telling us about these!). We also visited Sciacca, Scala dei Turchi (near Realmonte), the temples at Agrigento and Marsala and the nearby salt flats. Communication with the owner was friendly and efficient. We had a problem when the gas cylinder for cooking ran out, but after a quick phone call it was all sorted within 10 minutes! If you're looking to be close to the sea, the temples and the amenities of Marinella, then we'd certainly recommend this apartment.

casa accogliente confortevole ottima posizione

dal 06 al 28 agosto abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido appartamento, dotato di ogni confort, la cucina attrezzatissima colorata allegra e funzionale e con una vista mare sul porticciolo mozzafiato come da foto. Le camere confortevoli ma soprattutto fresche e pulite, i bagni in ottime condizioni. L'appartamento è dotato di condizionatore e un ventilatore al soffitto che abbiamo molto gradito. La posizione centralissima vicina alle diverse spiaggette raggiungibili tranquillamente a piedi in 5 minuti .E' servita benissimo con una farmacia e un panificio a pochi metri e diversi supermercati, inoltre abbiamo potuto gustare le specialità del posto nei ristoranti bar gelaterie della via principale a due passi dalla casa. Ma la cosa più bella è stata la sorpresa di sapere che a due passi c'è il meraviglioso parco archeologico di Selinunte sempre raggiungibile a piedi.....insomma ci siamo dimenticati l'uso dell'auto. Consigliatissimo

A Relaxing Stay

This apartment is spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. There is a bakery across the road and a greengrocer's with a smallish supermarket up the road as well as several restaurants within walking distance. The landlady speaks several languages, is very helpful and runs with her husband the restaurant Pierrot where you can eat lovely fresh pizzas, delicious fish accompanied with very good wine. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the relaxed lifestyle, near-by excursions to Caltabellota (very narrow and steep lanes), Sciacca, Castelvetrano and Eraclea Minoa and, of course, Selinunte.

Hier beginnen die Ferien! Sauber und schön

Wir waren zu viert per Auto (25-30 Jahre) unterwegs und sind auf dieses Appartment gestossen. Ein richtiger Glücksfall..die Vermieterin ist aus der Schweiz, spricht sowohl DE/FR/IT und hat uns sehr viele nützliche Tipps gegeben (Weinkellern, Routen, Sehenswürdigkeiten...) Die Ferienwohnung war sauber, schön und ideal für uns, da der Parkplatz, das Meer und vorallem das Center nur einige Schritte entfernt waren! Eigentlich wollten wir nur 2 Nächte bleiben, am Schluss waren es 4. Hätten wir noch mehr Zeit gehabt, wären wir noch länger in Selinunte geblieben. Preis- Leistung war Super! Tipp: Im Restaurant der Vermieterin PIERROT vorbei gehen, die Pasta Siciliana und eine Flasche Planeta Wein probieren und die Super Aussicht vom Restaurant geniessen! Auch in der Bar waren wir täglich um einen Cocktail zu schlürfen :-) Danke Ruth wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hier fängt Ferien an!

Gepflegt und Sauber

Nette, saubere Wohnung mit super Blick aufs Meer, nur 2 Gehminuten vom Meer entfernt. Wir haben die Wohnung während eines 3-tägigen Kurzaufenthaltes in Selinunte in Beschlag genommen. Die Wohnung ist einfach, zeichnet sich aber durch eine gute Grundausstattung aus, die dem Beschrieb entspricht. Die Wohnung eignet sich für Familien mit Kindern oder für ein Paar. Ein Doppelzimmer ist gegen den Wohnbereich hin offen. Die Betreuung durch die Besitzer war sehr freundlich und korrekt. Die schönen Strände und die bemerkenswerte archeologische Fundstätte mit Tempelbezirk und Akropolis sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Die nahe gelegene Pineta lädt zum Wandern, Spazieren oder Joggen ein. Die Besitzer führen auch das im selben Ort gelegene Restaurant Pierrot, das durch seine bemerkenswerte, gepflegte sizilianische Küche und die Auswahl an erlesenen Weinen begeistert. Die Musikbar in Hafennähe haben wir täglich frequentiert. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden uns wieder hier einquartieren. DS, Schweiz

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Schöne gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit sensationellem Blick aufs Meer und auf den Fischerhafen von Selinunte. Verschiedene Strände, der archäologische Park und verschiedene Restaurants und Bars sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das Ambiente in Selinunte ist überwältigend, mit der gemütlichen sizilianischen Art kann man die Ferien wirklich geniessen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert auch das Ristorante Pierrot.

Urlaub zum Anfassen

Kurze Fazit: Wir waren letztlich begeistert. Die abgegebenen Bewertungen sind ja überwiegend sehr positiv, aber zum Teil etwas voneinander abweichend. Wir waren im August in Selinunte, also zu einer Zeit, zu der auch sehr viele (bei weitem überwiegend) Italiener hier Ferien machen. Abends startet gegen 22 Uhr die Party mit Livebands, das ist zu anderen Jahreszeiten sicherlich nicht der Fall. Des einen Freud, des anderen Leid. Man sollte die italienische Lebensart mögen, man ist nämlich mittendrin. Genossen habe ich den archäologischen Park, den ich in meine morgendliche Jogging-Runde eingebaut habe; dies ist jedenfalls unproblematisch, wenn man vor der offiziellen Parkeröffnung unterwegs ist (ca. 9:00 Uhr) Mehrere Strände liegen in Fußreichweite; sie sind sauber und überraschend wenig überlaufen.

Unvergessliche Sommerferien

Wir durften während rund einer Woche in dieser tollen Wohnug mit Meerblick verweilen. Das Meer liegt unmittelbar vor der Haustür, daher ist die Wohnung sehr gut geeignet für Badeferien. Die ganze Ambiente mit dem Fischerhafen und den Tempeln ist einzigartig. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich von Anfang an wohl fühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Ristorante Pierrot, dass ca. 5 min von der Wohnung entfernt liegt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Lieber Gruss aus Luzern

Pleasant apartment with view to the harbor

Vi hadde en god uke i Marinella di selinunte. Leiligheten har godt utstyrt kjøkken, det er få trappetrinn og meter til nærmeste baker og lokal liten butikk hvor vi handlet inn frokost og lunsj. Utleier driver en god restaurant noen få minutters gange fra leiligheten. Der spiste vi godt 5 av våre 7 kvelder. Marinella er en liten og oversiktlig plass. Allikevel sovnet vi til musikken fra sentrum mange av kveldene. Jentene våre (13 og 15) trivdes godt og kommer mer enn gjerne tilbake. ************************************************************************** We had a good week in Marinella di Selinunte. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a few steps and meters to the nearest bakery and local small shop where we bought the breakfast and lunch. The landlord runs a good restaurant a few minutes' walk from the apartment. There, we ate well 5 of our 7 nights. Marinella is a small and orderly place. Still, we fell asleep to the music from the harbour many evenings. Our girls (13 and 15) enjoyed our stay, and we will all be more than happy to return.

Gewöhnungsbedürftig

Wohnung war auf den 1.Blick sauber, aber als Wohnung für 2 Ehepaare nicht geeignet. 1 Schlafzimmer, als offener Raum bei dem man über die Treppe zur Küche vorbei muß. Keine Privatsphäre ! Badewanne der unteren Wohnung mit Rostflecken, Sehr beengt. Das Bad(Dusche) der oberen Wohnung ist bei der Küche - 3. Stockwerk - und ist ebenfalls sehr beengt. Wir waren die ganze Woche über tagtäglich mit dem Auto unterwegs, so war der Aufenthalt innerhalb der Wohnung begrenzt und somit zu ertragen. Kein Bedarf für ein 2. Mal.

Idealer Frühlingsstandort für den Westen Siziliens

Eine geräumige Wohnung auf drei Ebenen mit Flair ! Das sehr sympathische Vermieterehepaar betreibt außerdem ein nahe gelegenes Restaurant, in dem zu akzeptablen Preisen richtig gut gekocht und ein herrlicher Ausblick auf das Meer geboten wird. Die "drei Nester" mit beeindruckenden griechischen Tempeln auf Sizilien waren unser Ziel und von der Wohnung aus hervorragend zu erreichen. Selinunte liegt mit seinem archäologischen Park fußläufig entfernt und Segesta und Agrigent sind leicht und schnell zu erreichen, zumal das Befahren von Autobahnen auf Sizilien ein Genuss ist ! Unser kunstgeschichtlich eingefärbter Trip nach Sizilien hat ausnehmend gut geklappt. Drei tage Hotel in Palermo, um die normannischen Kirchen zu sehen, dann eine Woche in der Casa Caboto in Marinella.

Nice village with relaxed Italian atmosphere

We enjoyed 10 sunny days in Marinella in July 2010. The apartment is spacious with ample room for a family of five. From the balcony there is a marvelous view of the harbor and the sea. Marinella is relatively new and does not boast with historical buildings and old churches. We nevertheless found Marinella very charming. The atmosphere is relaxed with rather few tourists and people are friendly and helpful. In the evenings people gather in front of their houses and children play outside. Very few speak English so one needs to know a few Italian phrases. East and west of Marinella there are good sandy beaches and each morning there is the possibility of buying fresh fish from the fishermen at the harbor. The archeological park of Selinunte and the nearby stone quarry of Cave de Cusa are very interesting and one can easily use a whole day studying the remains of temples, walls and also the dunes and vegetation near the river of Selinunte. We also recommend trips to Mazarra del Vallo, and the lagoon north of Marsala where sea salt is produced in shallow basins. Also Segesta, Erice, Monreale and Palermo can be quickly reached in a car via Motorway A29. The owner is very pleasant and helpful.

Auch im Winter geeignet

Wir waren 10 Tage um Weihnachten, in unserer Unterkunft war uns nie kalt. Sie verfügt über einen sehr effektiven Gasofen, sodass man es vermutlich auch mit weniger Wetterglück als wir es hatten gut aushalten kann. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das Haus geräumig und gemütlich. Da das Haus schon älter ist, sollte man sich an herausspringenden Sicherungen oder quietschenden Türen nicht stören! Wir haben den Aufenthalt jedenfalls uneingeschränkt genossen und fahren gerne wieder hin!

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal in der Casa Caboto und werden wiederkommen. Der Blick aufs Meerr vom Balkon ist ein Erlebnis. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gepflegt; die Kochnische hat Kochgeschirr auch für mehrere Personen. Gut ist die zentrale Lage im Dorf; alle Geschäfte sind nur wenige min. entfernt. Auch der beeindruckende archäologische Park ist zu Fuss leicht zu erreichen. Für Ausflüge in die weitere Umgebung ist aber ein Auto zu empfehlen (die nette Vermieterin ist hier gerne behilflich). In der Nachsaison (unsere Erfahrung von Oktober 2008 + 2009) war die Wohnung trotz zentraler Lage ruhig (abgesehen vom Tuckern der heimkehrenden Fischerboote am Morgen). Es gab nur wenige Leute am geschützten, zentralen Sandstrand. Das Wetter war zur Reisezeit meist sonnig, tagsüber > 25°C und angenehm am Abend. Nach unserer Erfahrung empfehlen wir die Casa Caboto für angenehme, ruhige Urlaubstage. Bis zum nächsten Mal !

beautifull Holiydays in a rich cultural envirenmen

Hello, we passed our holidays in Casa Caboto in the midst of July 2009. The weather was hot, about 38 degrees C., always with a cool wind blowing from seeside specially in the evening and at night. The flat is generous and well taillored over three levels. All important things are available in the flat even a ventilator. The greatest plus is the little balcony with a picturesque view to the harbour and the wonderfull turquise sea. You are in the midst of a real sicilian urban life, with all smells, kind neighbours, voices and beautiful walks along the harbour and the bars. The next grocer's is placed in upper via Caboto, 5 mins away and really recommandable. Right next to the grocer's is a very good butcher's shop also with fresh milk products. The archeologic area with antique temples and ruins is reachable in ten minutes by foot. There exists some sand beaches, to reach in 5 till 15 minutes also by foot. The marvellous beaches are suitable also for young kids (<5), because they are flat and the sea is often calm. The provider are very friendly and always helpfull in all questions and probems, which could happen in a holiday.
