Great place to stay

Had a wonderful time and enjoyed all that Maui has to offer. Very convenient location thats a walk to the beach as well as the shops of Wailiea where there are fantastic restaurants as well as shopping.

Thank you for being our guests and glad to hear that you found the condo to be spacious and in a nice area. In regards to the unit having stairs, all units at this resort have 2 levels and stairs as shown in the photos. Sorry to hear that you found some ants in the kitchen but this is easily remedied and wish you would have reached out to us during your stay. Being in a tropical climate, they are in our environment but are quickly treatable and also why we encourage guests to not leave any food out and to remove the trash daily.

Beautiful House

The house is beautiful, the location is wonderful. Close to beautiful beaches and a shopping center. A very short drive to Kihei, but Wailea offers a quiet, peaceful feel.

Perfect place for family stay

We absolutely loved our stay! It was perfect for our family, had everything we needed, including 2 pack-n-play cribs that the team at PMI Maui brought over ahead of our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Matt and team are the best, and I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Every time I had a question, it was answered quickly. The kitchen had just about everything we needed. It could use a large rubber spatula. The house was very spacious. We never got a chance to use the BBQ. Maybe next time. Mahalo.

Happiness and Bliss

It was perfect!!! From the booking to the day we reluctantly had to leave! The space was exactly what we were hoping for….spacious, beautiful, and so comfortable for our multigenerational family of 9!Being so close to the pool made swimming excursions so easy and taking walks and seeing the meticulously kept plantings was a pleasure! We’re already looking forward to returning next year!

The condo was very roomy with plenty of space for our family. We were able to prepare meals in the kitchen with ample supplies and very large refrigerator. As mentioned before, the lanai was on a busy road with road noise, however the landscaping was spectacular on this property, including the lanai area. We enjoyed the area with restaurants and the pool area was fun.

This high end property was great for our family with the perfect amount of sleeping and relaxing space. The kitchen has huge and has everything you need. Unlike some rentals, this house came with everything you need for your stay, including dish soap, toiletries, etc. which was such a gift to not have to buy those things while in Hawaii. The neighborhood is secure and requires a passcode and the pool area was very nice. We would stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this property and would love to come back. We were a group of 7; 2 adults per room and 1 used the pull out sofa bed. All beds were clean and comfortable. We came in early September 2024 and the property was in good shape. We were able to use their coolers, boogie boards, and beach chairs. The house was stocked with many cooking appliances and spices. The community pool was lovely - in the evenings, we barely saw any other guests there. The community area provides ice and filtered water too. The entire Ho'olei community was well maintained, clean, safe, and quiet. We booked directly on the PMI website. Matthew from PMI was professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. We asked for a late checkout (with a fee) and early check-in, and he was able to provide both since the property was available. There could be some *minor* enhancements (e.g. fix filtered kitchen sink water dispenser, hot/cold shower water fluctuates, grill + oven took awhile to heat up). However, these were not deal breakers.Overall, I recommend this property for a big family or groups of 8 adults. Mahalo, PMI, for an unforgettable trip!

The only negative would be the pull out bed. Clearly, for 2 adults this is not sufficient. The mattress falls through slats and should only be recommended for children. Needed to put mattress on the floor the following nights, which was just ok. Other than that would highly recommend this place.

Reviewer Comments: This condo is large, comfortable and well cared for. 5 adults in our party had plenty of space. The lanai was huge and comfortable. A few caveats: this condo is on the first lane in a gated community which placed it close to the pool and a reasonably short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants, BUT it backs the main road, so it’s quite noisy during commuter times. If you’re inside with the slider closed it’s quiet, but if you’re on the lanai trying to have a cocktail and conversation it can be tough. Also, you will NOT be welcome at the Grand Wailea pools. Although it’s called the Ho’olei AT the Grand Wailea, the GW does not consider you a guest. You can spend your money at the restaurants and pool bars, but don’t think you can cool off in one of the pools. They will aggressively run you off. The pool in the condo complex is beautiful and you can bring your own refreshments, so it all worked for us. Last thing, we had to spend nearly an hour mucking out the bbq before using. I did mention it to property management and they assured me it had been checked, but because we arrived early the cleaners were not able to get to it. This is BS as the bbq hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. It was very clean when we left it. You’re welcome. All said, we would stay here again!

The only two drawbacks is that the deck was a bit noisy with the street traffic and the grill didn’t operate well.
