¡Reserve esta propiedad para el próximo evento de MAGNOLIA o cualquier otro evento en el área de Waco! Trae a tus cachorros también!Esta casa es un placer total para todos! Está en una hermosa zona de Waco, cerca del lago Waco, tiendas, restaurantes, silos, Baylor y etc. ¡Ha sido completamente renovado y actualizado y amueblado al máximo! Incluso podrías creer que Chip y Joanna pudieron haber tenido un papel en esta pequeña joya, pero, contrariamente a la creencia, ¡no lo hicieron! Aunque tiene una decoración similar, yo mismo y yo, asumimos esta pequeña tarea. Esta chica tiene 3 dormitorios, camas queen en dos y un sofá cama con nido que también puede dormir dos. Todas las camas están equipadas con almohadillas de colchón hiperalergénicas y cubiertas de gel de espuma de memoria. Hay suelos de madera con alfombras de acento hermoso. El sofá de cuero en la sala de estar también puede desviarse a una cama queen. Hay un baño y medio, y una bonita y nueva pantalla plana en cada habitación. El salón tiene una pantalla plana de 50 pulgadas! Hay un montón de antigüedades recién restauradas en toda la casa y algunos muebles hechos a mano también. ¡Todo es nuevo o recientemente renovado! Todo está amueblado, excepto tú, tu ropa y tu cepillo de dientes. Te encantará el patio trasero, que cuenta con cercas de privacidad, árboles, cubierta de madera cubierta, luces de café, caminos de granito triturado y muchas plantas perennes. Hay bonitas campanas de viento, bebederos para pájaros, comederos para pájaros para hacer de esta propiedad el refugio perfecto para observar aves y relajarse. Disfrutará de la iluminación LED nueva y actualizada en toda la casa y en el patio trasero también. Cuenta con un nuevo lavavajillas, nevera, microondas, horno tostador, licuadora, plancha para hacer gofres, dos cafeteras, una KEURIG, etc. Nuevas toallas y ropa de cama también se incluyen. La casa también tiene lámparas de madera hechas a la medida e incluso una escultura hecha a partir de las temidas HORMIGAS DE FUEGO. ¡Esto es increíble! También hay una cama supletoria si es necesario para un huésped adicional.

Our stay in Waco was exactly what we wanted. We were there to go to Magnolia and their Silobration. It was a 12 minute drive with easy access. The house was clean, easy to deal with and exactly as listed. If we come back to Waco we will stay here again.

Thanksgiving Adventure in Waco

We had a wonderful stay at Debbie’s home over Thanksgiving! She was incredibly accommodating to our entire family and even made sure our little dog felt welcome. The backyard was a true highlight—an absolute oasis that provided the perfect space to relax and unwind. The home itself was just as cozy and inviting as described, making it feel like a home away from home. 10/10, we would definitely stay again. Thank you, Debbie, for making our stay so special!

Great getaway with my daughters

My three daughters and I met in TX for a girls weekend and had a great time and stay. The home was as advertised and had everything we needed. It is close to downtown Waco and close to good restaurants. One recommendation I would have would be to have a keyless entry into the house rather than a key (and the key box is broken, so I ended up keeping in on the car keychain throughout our stay). Overall and great stay!

Great location

It was easy to get to everything we wanted to visit. This home was the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been staying in VRBO’s for years. Lots of cobwebs, dirt and dust in corners, some dishes had to be rewashed before using, there were washed towels still in washing machine and dirty dishes in dish washer. The backyard could also use some cleaning up. Patio was nice to sit on during our downtime. It’s decorated very nice

Met our needs but not our expectations….

I anxiously leave this review as in reviewing previous reviews, host does not receive critiques well.This property did the job, unfortunately would not book again. Property has great potential but needs some TLC. 1. The property is listed as 2 bathrooms but is actually 1 and 1/2. This is disclosed in the narrative description which I missed, so that’s on me, but still felt mislead. One shower for all guests, up to 8? Glad we were not a party of 8. 2. The host did not advise of the pet fee, which I advised we would have when I initially booked the property (and was a main reason for selecting this property), until we were checking in. Addt'l y host wanted an $80 early check in fee. 3. Host attempted to glue a tear in the fitted sheet in master bdrm. Left a big rough spot in sheet and it was not suitable to be used. Got another sheet from linen closet which also had a spot with a tear that was glued. Had to get another sheet to use. 4. Beds slept well and were comfortable. A+ 5. The backyard did not portray the description given in the listing, had multiple tripping hazards, and overall detracted from the property. As previously stated, it did the job.

Don’t Trust the Pictures…the house is filthy and disgusting

The host brags about the updated unit but buying a new couch and matching chair doesn’t cover up the horrid condition of this lousy rental. First impression upon entering the rental was the disgusting smell. From there it only gets better. There were dead cockroaches and other bugs all over the house. The bathrooms were filthy as there was pee all over the toilet seats, broken light bulbs, missing door plate strikes so my young daughter almost got locked in the bathroom. The bedding in the middle bedroom was stained with urine. Don’t try opening the windows as the blinds and windows are covered with dirt. Similarly, don’t look closely at the floors as there is dirt all over this house. This house is not clean and has probably never been cleaned. Moving to the kitchen, the fridge has mold all over the door handle and inside the fridge as well. Again, not clean and throughly disgusting. We had rented this house for Baylor graduation. Unfortunately we had to leave the rental unit early and our weekend was ruined because we didn’t feel safe staying in such squalor. Debbie Rocket takes no accountability for her horrendous rental. Numerous excuses. My family and I have stayed in multiple Vrbo homes throughout the world and this unit in Waco was by far the worst, dirtiest and falsely advertised rentals we have ever seen. I highly suggest no one stay at this rental. Simply horrific experience and

Decent House, Greedy Owner

We stayed at this house for two nights while our power was out from hurricane Beryl, so we had our two dogs with us. Overall, the house met our needs, and was in decent shape. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but don’t recommend booking this house because of our experience with the owner after we checked out. We paid upfront $160 extra for pet fees to bring our two dogs with us, and a couple of days after we checked out the owner charged me an extra $60 for “excessive pet hair” in the house. My dogs were never on the furniture and were only ever allowed in one bedroom and the common areas. I asked the owner to remove the charge because $220 total to clean up pet hair is ridiculous, but she refused. On top of that, there was already a lot of pet hair in the house when we arrived. This owner is clearly trying to squeeze customers and take advantage of those bringing their pets and then doesn’t even have the house cleaned well after charging all that!

We enjoyed our stay ! We had everything we needed. We had trouble with the tv in the back bedroom & living room, internet connection problems. Other than that everything else was great! Wonderful host, very proactive.

Back to the 70’s

We arrived at 4:20 and the owners were still there cleaning. She told us the modem was “out” and she had to still pick up a new one and bring it back by, which she did. However she neglected to call Spectrum and register it to her account using her password so we had no wifi or tv. She told us the dishwasher wasn’t working and we’d have to hand wash dishes. There were roach droppings in the kitchen cabinets to the right of the sink. Cobwebs between blinds and windows. Towels were old and mismatched. The one I pulled out of the cabinet in the main bathroom was frayed with strings hanging. The toilet in the main bathroom was very slow to fill and then “ran” all the rest of the time. I do not envy them their water bill. Lamps picture frames were quite dusty. Yard needed mowing. Good things were: plug-in accent lights around the house to illuminate floors at night. Also good was provision of coffee pods and filters for the coffee pots. We called VRBO two days before we left home to ask what kind of coffee pot was there and got the call answering on Friday the day after arriving which was a day late. Would have been nice to know before we left home. I recommend having a professional cleaner do a thorough cleaning and sanitation and a lawn service remove junk and mow.

The inside of the property is beautiful. The outside can use some work. The location is close to a lot of businesses, food places and grocery stores. I was disappointed in having to pay an extra fee for cleaning to bring my dog and then find dust bunnies and food wrappers under the bed. The location of the grocery store came in handy since we weren’t supplied paper towels or much toilet paper. Overall was okay.

Roaches, Spiders, trash under beds, dust everywhere

I am only writing this review, because the owner will not contact me back and explain why the home was not ready for guests. I have waited over a week and warned by phone and email and through the system that I was going to leave this review but the owner chose not to contact me to offer me any kind of explanation for the condition of the property. Since we arrived late at night, and the property was so dirty, I had to wash the sheets before I felt comfortable even staying because there was no time to get another place to sleep. The property was filthy. I understand there are cleaning services that could have not showed up and I would have gladly heard the reasons but I have called each day left messages and no return phone call. The website also tried to contact the owner and she is not returning their phone calls either. I have pictures documenting everything we are faced with that night dirty sheets, trash and bugs under bed, roaches and spiders everywhere. I can send to anyone who would like them. If I could post them on here, I would, I am a reasonable person, and do not want anyone else to suffer. Still trying to reach the owner, though she had time to write me a bad review?

Enjoyed the Stay

The house was clean and the rooms were as expected. I brought my older parents with me that have some mobility issues. The tub was extremely slippery so I ended up getting a anti slip Matt for it. Also we couldn’t find towels to bath so I ended up purchasing that as well . The only thing I was disappointed in was the backyard. I expected a cute backyard from the picture but a tree had fallen and was still down crashed the covering so the yard was unusable. The front lawn hadn’t been cut in sometime either. A heads up on that would have been nice.

Sometimes I might see something that someone has tossed to the curb and decide I can make something from it! Another hobby, I discovered some years back is Pickleball, and I'm completely addicted to it! If you haven't heard of it, you really need to look into it and give it a try! I would love to find the time to play in Waco, you can mark my word, I'll be going! This is my first venture to buy and market a home in Waco as a vacation rental! I started with homes in South Fork Colorado, but it was too difficult to maintain, get good help, and keep them managed so I sold them and decided to do business a little closer to home. I am also a Doxie lover ( wiener dogs), I have 4 sweet little doxies and they are part of my family! I live in Midlothian TX. and have been here since 1985. I grew up in DeSoto TX. I purchased this home in 2018, so it's been kind of a rush for me to get it going, but it has come along nicely! Since buying this home I have acquired three others, that are listed on this site as well! Be sure and look them up too! And decor, fully loaded kitchen, washer and dryer in utility room, Nice landscaping,.Huge backyard with nice trees, privacy fence, wood deck that is covered and enclosed with café lights! Fire pit! All the amenities inside make it well worth the stay too! High speed internet , TVs in all rooms, large closets, close to so many eateries and shopping! Nice safe neighborhood!
