House was immaculate!! Plenty of supplies like towels, TP, Paper Towels, shower stuff, coffee pods, creamer, etc. Views are as beautiful as the pictures. Host was amazing and went way beyond any other host we have experienced. We would rent this place again hands down!!

We had a group of friends stay for a long weekend to enjoy some fishing, games and relaxation. This was the perfect place for that! Everything was exactly as described (or even better in some cases!). They really go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. I will definitely be looking to book again in the near future.

We had such an amazing time during our stay at Grass Lake Lodge. My fiancé and I celebrated a joint bachelor/bachelorette weekend with our close friends and all of the amenities made it the perfect lake weekend getaway to celebrate our upcoming marriage! We grilled out, swam, fished, kayaked, enjoyed the hot tub, and played lots of games. 10/10 would recommend! Bob was so kind and made us feel so welcome. I'd love to return one day with our future kids!

Beautiful property! Beautiful house!Enjoyed everything about our stay. Master suite is huge. Spent a lot of time in the game room downstairs during the mid day heat. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away and relax.

My family and I stayed for a long weekend at Grass Lake Lodge and enjoyed every minute! The lodge itself has every amenity that you would want, including a huge, well stocked kitchen, an awesome game room, cozy and comfortable bedrooms and a large living and dining room that accommodated our big group. The views from the lodge are fantastic and there are multiple spaces to sit and relax. Great fishing off the dock! All the kids caught multiple fish over the weekend. Everyone spent time in and on the lake and we appreciated having a paddle boat, canoe, kayak and row boat. The hot tub was my favorite way to end the day but the kids preferred s'mores at the fire pit. The owners, Bob and Karen, were the most thoughtful hosts. Great communication before,during and after our stay. They frequently checked in and it was obvious that they truly cared about our experience. There were also two wonderful managers, Rob and Michelle, who were easy to contact and quickly responded to anything we needed. I have visited many VRBO properties. This one is at the top of my list! I highly recommend you check it out - you won't be disappointed!

Awesome Vacation

We had a great time. The kitchen was large enough for everyone to help prepare meals. The bedrooms were nice. The great room had a wonderful view of the lake. Everyone enjoyed the swimming, kayaks and boats. The game room was used by all. We have already booked another week for next summer.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge and the Carriage House. We spent lots of time on the patios and decks just relaxing and enjoying the peace. We did the massage and executive chef experiences and they were just fantastic. This location is in a nice small town, but within an easy drive of Grand Rapids and Michigan Adventures amusement park - lots to do!

This is a fantastic property! We had our children (and significant others）and grandchildren stay for a family bonding experience. The property is set up for endless activities: walking trails, fishing, kayaking, games, campfires, and more. Highly recommend and plan to come back. Owners and caretakers are outstanding.

Heavenly retreat!

What an amazing property and location. My wife and two teens spent an amazing week fishing, playing games in the game room and relaxing. The owners are wonderful people who truly care about making sure renters have everything they need. Communication was outstanding and fast. They truly paid attention to small details that really helps renters like labeling all the light switches in the cabin so you know what lights you were turning on. We were also welcomed with a smores kit, information about the cabin and things to do very well laid out and some many other little things the owners do that really makes you feel like they truly care. We only rented the main cabin and was impressed with how clean and well maintained everything was. The layout is great for families and big groups. We spent a lot of time downstairs in the game room playing pool, ping pong, shuffleboard and video games (New machine delivered right before we got there). We spent our days on the dock and in the boat fishing on the private lake. My son caught a very nice pike right off the doc. I could go on and on, to many great things to list. If you want a quiet location to relax in a beautiful cabin this is your place! We're already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Amazing Hosts, Views & Experience!

My now-husband and I booked the Grass Lake Lodge for an intimate family wedding. The house and property are absolutely gorgeous; the view of the lake is visible through huge windows and it was so nice to wake up to every day. Bob and Karen have clearly thought through every detail of hosting guests; from a welcoming note & surprise gift upon check-in to keeping the bathrooms plentifully stocked with lotion, shampoo & conditioner. The basement offered plenty of 'friendly' competition and entertainment with the pool table, the ping pong table and a large TV, and of course, a walk-out to the hot tub. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the location offered a nice view of the lake while being close to the house. Loved being able to listen to music through the built-in system! Bob & Karen were gracious enough to allow us to have this small event, and were so awesome through the entire booking & checking-in process, even making several recommendations for local food & bartending services for the wedding which turned out to be amazing. If you stay here, we highly recommend using the 'GLL Extras' for bartending (Celeste) & The Blue Cow for the Private Chef experience. The caretakers were friendly and took great care of the place, even coming to help us when one of the speakers on-site wasn't working properly. We definitely plan on staying here again. Bob and Karen are AMAZING hosts!! Thank you again for trusting us with doing something a bit outside the norm on your property. :)

Family Fun

The Grass Lake Lodge is everything it’s advertised to be. We showed up and our black lab immediately “zoomied out” running around the yard and jumping in the lake. The grandchildren enjoyed the sandy beach, as well as some boat rides throughout the week. We swam, we hiked, we fished, we enjoyed the evening by the Grass, Lake Tavern, and then we slept…Repeat. weather cooperated. Communication was great throughout the week. Thanks Bob and Karen.

Great place

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The entire house was beautiful. There was plenty of room for the ten of us. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We utilized the grocery deliver service and all the food and drinks were put away and chilled by the time we got there. There was plenty of outdoor sitting space and the grounds were well maintained. Everyone enjoyed the fishing. I would note that we couldn’t wade into the water due to thick vegetation, but it wasn’t a problem as we had older kids who enjoyed jumping off the end of the dock and spent a lot of time in the water. The playroom was a bonus and well used on the rainy days. The place was amazing!

Great Place to Getaway!

We couldn’t have imagined a better place to have a better time! The great accommodations and hospitality that Bob and his family extended to us is unmatched! I’ve never stayed in a place where the owner was so involved in making sure you were all set from a couple days beforehand to during and afterwards. The game room was an immediate draw as was the sheer beauty of the property, lake and views. Can’t wait to go back next year!!

love the lodge

This was our second year staying at Grass Lake Lodge and plan on staying again next year. You couldn't ask for better owners and managers. Didn't have much ice for skating this year but took advantage of the trails in the woods. Would recommend it to anyone, especially families.

Annual Girls Weekend

Fabulous place & host. Lots to do, game room, hot tub, woods, tiki bar, waterfront, etc. We all absolutely loved this place! It is beautiful, comfy beds, amazing Master Bath & Bedroom which was great for my mother-in-law not to have to do stairs. Fall colors were pretty but we all now want to come back in Summer to utilize the lake. Communication was awesome & very personal. Then with massage put the relaxation over the top! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home for everyone to enjoy!

We loved our time at Grass Lake Lodge

We celebrated my parents 60th Anniversary the past few days at Bob and Karen’s beautiful Grass Lake Lodge. We had such a great time just hanging together. The views - family - fun - laughs - stories - campfires - games, in the game room and cards at all the tables. The whole family enjoyed it so much - my parents even took the paddle boat out. As I have said to many - it was way better to actually be there than any of the great pictures. Kudos to Sabrina and Damien too - they were awesome to welcome us and they do a great job keeping all looking so awesome.

Absolutely the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. We do an annual every year with 13 of us.

Grandma, grandpa, 3 kids, 3 spouses and 4 grandkids. Ranging ages 3-17. We all had the best time!
