Esta es la unidad inferior de una casa de playa de dos unidades. Piscina climatizada de 2017 con leni compartida con Salty Dog Straight Up. Un hermoso plan de piso abierto con cocina actualizada, bar, comedor. Hermosas vistas desde las amplias ventanas del Golfo desde el concepto de espacio abierto. El espacio interior fluye hacia un porche de pantalla de 10x30. Puedes abrir las ventanas para una brisa marina y para escuchar el surf. Hay un futón (en el gabinete debajo de la TV) para dormir más en la gran sala. El dormitorio principal está escondido a la vuelta de la esquina. Completa con una lavadora / secadora. Esta propiedad se puede alquilar con VRBO

Peaceful

The stay was 6 nights and we all wanted to stay longer. The unit we stayed in was clean and spacious for all 6 of us. The pool is perfect and tucked in nicely with privacy when you don’t want to be at the beach. The absolute best parts is sitting on the screened in porch at night listening to the waves and chatting with the family. I would recommend to anyone with a family that wants to unwind from the daily hustle and bustle.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Salty Dog on the Rocks! The property is great, wonderful screened in porch, right across from the beach, in the cutest and quietest neighborhood. Like a previous reviewer, we found the King size bed to be too soft, but we just folded out the Murphy in the living room and used that, worked out just fine. The kitchen is nicely equipped. We like to cook and they had everything we needed. Other than the bed just not being to my taste, the only complaint I have is that I couldn't figure out how to get the clothes washing machine on cold water, but maybe that was user error. Matt was around & available for suggestions or any issues and was a great host. Overall, such a great vacation! We will be coming back!

quiet easy relaxing

we do not have pets but this space is great if you do. we will definitely stay again when visiting India Pass. Very Clean and comfortable and open space. no true closet for clothes, but easy space for luggage to be accessible.

WHAT A DELIGHT!

The neighborhood is so inviting and right on the water with an excellent beachThe property is beyond expectations with a beautiful pool area and extra indoor and outdoor areas to relaxThe house and large screened porch was perfect for myself, husband and PoppyThe owners very attentive to any questions or problems plus just great people!!We lucked out due to them having an unexpected last minute cancellation - we hope to be able to return again someday soon

Beautiful Quiet Area of Florida

We enjoyed our time at the Salty Dog! The house worked well for our family of 3 & our small dog. Super easy check in. The house was clean & the kitchen was well stocked w/cooking supplies. The outdoor space was great! It’s hard to tell in the pics, but the oversized screened in porch w/the long dining table & sitting area, is a private porch for this unit only. We loved this area & ate all of our meals out there…you can see see a small bit of the ocean from it. I believe the other screened porch in the pics can be used by guests from upstairs, too- it’s on the side of the house along with the grill, cornhole, firepit, & pool area. The boardwalk for beach access is literally right in front of the house. The closest people to us on the beach may have been 50 yards away which was so nice. The water wasn’t very clear during our stay-more of a murky brown, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying it. The road you see in the pics (between the house & the beach) is just a neighborhood street that people walk on, & only drive on to access their homes…not busy at all. Super quiet, calm, nature protected area (and pitch dark at night) & very close to the quaint downtown of Port St Joe, Cape San Blas, and Apalachicola. (There are bears in the area but we had no issues.) The owner was extremely kind and gave us tips for the area. We enjoyed our first stay in this gorgeous, quaint area of Florida, and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Matt and his Salty Dog properties again.

Excellent host/location

Wonderful property. Excellent location, it was like we had the beach to ourselves the whole trip. The house is cozy but perfect for what we needed. The porch/outdoor areas are very nice. The owners are on site and are absolutely great. We had a flat on checkout day and he was nice enough to air our tire so we could make it to the shop to get a plug. The pool is perfect. Not far from the beach at all. You can hear upstairs guest walking occasionally but that's honestly to be expected with any multilevel set up. It didn't bother us and the dogs quickly got used to it. We used a sound machine to help.The dishes in the kitchen weren't the cleanest (likely cleaned by previous guest). Not a big deal, we just washed things before we used them. We would definitely stay here again!!

Lucky we found this!

Wow! We found a gem! My husband and I had a few last minute days off work and decided to take our boys and go to the beach last minute. We were so lucky to find the Salty Dog! Wonderful owners with their own dog, Chance! Even with teenagers and a dog, we had plenty of room. The house and property is beautiful. Pictures haven’t been updated so it is even better in person. Great for families or just a couple. The beach is so close and really private! You won’t be disappointed! We hope to go back in the fall. Thanks for such a relaxing stay!

Perfect Getaway!

Loved loved loved! About a mile from the turnoff to the Cape, close to everything, short walk to the beach, Matt has provided everything you need for a beautiful getaway at the most beautiful place ever!!

Perfect family vacation spot

This was probably our best family vacation. Having a teen, younger kids & pups is always so hard to go on vacation & keep everyone happy. BUT we were able to, in part due to this vacation rental. Between being so close to the beach & having the pool all kids were happy. Being able to bring our pups was great & they LOVED the beach. The salty dog was bigger than we anticipated, plenty of room for all of us & we LOVED the screeed porches. We had zero issues, but did contact owner for a quick question; he answered immediately & was so helpful. We will definitely be back again & again!

I will definitely go again!

The location is wonderful and the property was just what we needed. The owners live on site, but are not intrusive at all and are wonderful folks. Close enough to great food and shops, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. A very peaceful spot with a great beach. A very, very relaxing vacation.

Great place!

We had a great stay at Salty Dog! Plenty of space for our family of 5. So easy to walk to the beach. We occasionally heard footsteps when we had a family with small kids staying upstairs but nothing that really bothered us. Would definitely visit again.

We’ve been coming to Florida every summer for the past three years and out of all of the places we have stayed, this was by far our favorite! We loved everything about the place and location. Our dogs had a blast as well! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We can’t wait to come back next year!

My stay at Salty Dog and Salty Dog Straight Up

We enjoyed each day in the pool and on the beach. My sister had a place on Mexico Beach, but she came to my location daily because it wasn't too crowded. We had an excellent time. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and crabbing. Dinner at Indian Pass Raw Bar was so good. We will be back next year.
