Nuestra casa millstone está muy bien ubicada, tranquila (en una zona residencial), rodeada de zonas verdes (Parc de Sceaux y Park Chateaubriand). La casa se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de todos los servicios: transporte, tiendas ...
El segundo piso de la casa está reservado para usted, se sentirá "en casa, lejos de casa":
- 1 habitación amplia y luminosa, con 1 cama doble, con vistas abiertas al Parc de Sceaux
- 1 habitación amplia y luminosa, con 2 camas individuales (en 90 x 200), con un pequeño salón y un área de oficina
- Baño de ducha para invitados

Wonderful stay in Paris

We were simply blown away by our stay. The property is gorgeous but even more, Jean-Luc and Frédéric are just incredible hosts. They were so attentive, and clearly invested in us having the best stay possible in Paris, providing excellent recommendations based on our interests. And the little things, like how they tailored the amazing breakfasts based on our likes, just sets them head and shoulders above other experiences. We can't say enough good things about our stay. Beautiful home with lovely hosts

When I saw the listing with the pictures I had to book it for our Paris trip we were taking our mother in law on. It was very beautiful like in the pictures. Frederic and Jean Luc are wonderful and trustworthy and it felt safer than staying in a hotel. I didn’t realize our rooms were on the third floor with a steep spiral wooden staircase but I may have overlooked. Only an issue with an older guest with us we were already pushing to limits in the city with walking and steps. We also never had time to figure out the train system (our fault) and so spent hundreds of dollars and several hours on getting from there to Paris throughout the few days. Still, we enjoyed the home the little time we were there. They were gracious enough to make a nice breakfast each day (eggs as I was pregnant and wanting the protein) and wonderful teas. I would recommend a little mini fridge for the upstairs tea area so we could have our water chilled? And perhaps a full length mirror unless I missed one in the other bedroom.

Lovely Home and Amazing Hosts!

We were welcomed by our hosts first with excellent communication prior to our arrival, then with literal open arms. The house is beautiful, in a wonderful neighborhood within easy walking distance to to B train that wisks you into Paris or onward to Charles de Gaulle airport. The rooms were everyone's dream of a French holiday, with windows opening out over the lovely garden. I cannot say enough about the generous breakfasts. Homemade crepes, fresh baguettes and fruit, yogurt, homemade jams, and eggs cooked to order and perfection, all in a dining room opening to the rear garden. If you are looking for the perfect place for your Paris vacation, with quick access to Versailles, where you are welcomed like royalty, this is the place for you!

Charming Slice of French Villa Life

Frédéric and Jean-Luc are absolutely delightful hosts! Their house is beautifully decorated, the view is stunning, and the fresh breakfast they prepare each morning is peaceful and incredibly delicious. They were such kind and helpful hosts- they even printed off suggestions of what to see for free in each area of Paris we planned to visit. Only about a 10 minute walk away there is a delightful boulangerie where you can pick up some tasty pastries, and the train station is right across from that. Our time in their villa was certainly a highlight of our Paris trip and we hope we can stay with them again.

5-star accommodations and hosts!!

This was a legitimate 5-star accommodation. The location was perfect with an 11-minute walk to the train which took you right to Paris. We used the train and metro almost daily with ease. Our hosts explained the system and showed us how to use it. We spent a week at the home utilizing both bedrooms on the top floor. Each had its own bathroom and sitting area. Plenty of room for my family of 4, all adults. The entire house was immaculate and our rooms were cleaned daily! Breakfast was provided daily which included all fresh food, delicious bread, fruit, pastries, eggs, etc. We rented a car for longer outings and were provided a parking space across the street, which was perfect. My husband and I had been to France a few years ago and although enjoyable, was nothing like this time, which can be attributed to the hosts. They made recommendations, printed out a list of sites to see in parts of Paris we intended to visit, and gave us travel books to help us navigate. But it was their warm, friendly, and inviting manner that made this trip so special. We sat and spoke, and learned about France and french living in a way you cant get from museums and books. We always felt comfortable in their home. We have stayed at many places and travel often and this was the best experience we have ever had. We cannot recommend them enough. We are very grateful for their kindness and hospitality.

A Charming Spot! All the stars!

Our family of 4 (2 kids - 6 and 4yo) used this charming space as our home-away-from-home to attend a local family wedding. We couldn’t ask for a better experience! The beautiful space accommodated our needs and both Jean Luc and Frederic were delightful, responsive, and attentive to us and our children. Absolutely will use again someday! Thank you!!!

Unmatched hospitality

In all my travels I have never encountered hosts who were as warm and welcoming as Frederic and Jean Luc. From the moment we rang their doorbell, we were embraced by their enthusiasm to address our every need, and make their lovely home our restful retreat outside of Paris. The four of us shared two rooms on the upper level of the home, each room with its own bathroom, shower, and sitting area. In the morning we were greeted by a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, baguette, jam, butter coffee, juice and more. The location in a sweet neighborhood was convenient to the RER train into the city. There were also lovely attractions in the immediate area to explore. By the time we left, my husband, son, friend and I felt we were saying au revoir to excellent friends. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, comfortable and quiet space outside the city.

Ganz bezaubernd!

Wir waren eine Woche lang zu Gast bei Jean-Luc und Frederic und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Ihr Haus ist eine wahre Insel der Schönheit! Das Frühstück ist extrem lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Fast alles ist selbst gemacht. Die Anbindung an Paris könnte besser nicht sein. Der Bahnhof und auch die Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs sind in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für diesen großartigen Aufenthalt! Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

A home away from home

We had the most unforgettable stay at Jean-Luc and Frédéric's beautiful home in a nice and quiet Parisian neighborhood. They are the perfect hosts and we had the most delicious breakfasts every morning. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality and willingness to assist were better than any five star resort. Perfect stay!

Could not have asked for a better experience. We stayed at the property so we could see Paris, but the house was the highlight of the trip. Best breakfasts we had during our entire time in France, even compared to high scale restaurants. We will stay again if back in Paris.

Lieber Jean-Luc und lieber Frédéric, wir haben das Privileg genossen eure Gäste sein zu dürfen. Paris und alle seine Möglichkeiten stehen für sich selbst. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind über RER und Metro gut zu erreichen. Außergewöhnlich aber für uns hat diesen Besuch in Paris Eure unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit gemacht. Von der ersten bis zu letzten Minute fühlten wir uns angenommen wie Familienmitglieder. Diese Erfahrung war für uns, neben der liebevoll eingerichteten Unterbringung und dem selbstgemachtem Frühstück, einzigartig. Glücklicherweise ist Paris nicht in vier Tagen zu erkunden, sodass wir jeden Grund haben zu Euch zurück zu kehren. Vorfreude ist die schönste Freude. Feels like home.

We stayed with Jean-Luc and Frédéric when we first arrived in France two weeks ago. I wrote a review after we left, describing the wonderful time we had at their beautiful home. After visiting the Loire Valley, we circled back and spent one last night with them to make today's journey to the airport easier. Again, our stay was wonderful! Jean-Luc and Frédéric are simply the best hosts that we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable, fed us another amazing breakfast, gave great suggestions for gifts for friends...they really have a gift and a love for hospitality (and cooking!). It was a pleasure to stay at their home, and we hope to be able to return some day soon.

Unforgettable

If you are even slightly considering staying at La Villa de la Terrasse, save yourself the waffling and the searching, and just book it. Jean-Luc and Frédéric are the most amazing hosts and generally wonderful people. They were so welcoming and friendly, and worked very hard to make our stay the best it could possibly be. The breakfasts they provided were better than restaurant quality, and included eggs from their very own chickens. They gave us really useful suggestions on what to see and how to get around during what was our first time in Paris. Their home is comfortable, clean, and beautifully finished and decorated. The second floor has lovely floors and arched windows - one of which has an expansive view that includes a nearby chateau. A peaceful garden surrounds the house. I can't imagine a better home away from home!

Die Villa de la Terrasse ist unglaublich nettes ein B&B. Man wohnt in der obersten Etage einer liebevoll renovierten Fin de siecle Villa und wird von den freundlichen, entspannten Gastgebern morgens wie ein König versorgt -und dies am Stadtrand von Paris, in Laufnähe zu einer RERstation.

The very best on VRBO

Look no further - this is the one. You have to stay here. This is probably the best rental we have stayed at on ANY platform. Jean-Luc and Frédéric have the natural gift of hospitality, and are just genuinely great people. During our stay it felt more like we were staying with friends that we have known our entire life, even though we had just met. Breakfast is included every day, and is extremely high quality. Frédéric and Jean-Luc personally cook each breakfast and pay such careful attention to ensure the meal is perfect. The train station that goes directly into Paris is an easy 10 minute walk from the home. The home itself is relaxing with a beautiful garden both in front and behind the house. There is air conditioning (which, for spoiled Americans like us was so nice). The hosts also helped plan our days in Paris, giving us personalized recommendations of where to go each day we were in Paris. While I absolutely recommend staying here, be sure to leave some room in the schedule for us to come back and reserve our second stay. ;)

Séjour de rêve - Allez-y sans hésiter !

Fréderic et Jean-Luc ont partagé leur magnifique château avec nous pendant 3 jours. Nous avons été reçu comme de la famille et traités comme des rois. La localisation est parfaite a moins 30 minutes de Paris, tout près de Sceau c’est un endroit paisible et sécuritaire… Et magnifique si on a le goût de marcher, d'ailleurs Jean-Luc et Fréderic auront pleins d'options de visites a vous proposer. On pense déjà a notre prochain séjour avec bonheur

Perfection in Paris

if you are looking for pristine linens, well appointed rooms, tour advice, beautiful views and sumptuous breakfasts, you could book an upscale hotel, but you would be missing out on experiencing true French hospitality. Châtenay-Malabry is the place to stay for all this and more. Frederic and Jean-Luc, you made our family feel right at home from the beginning. As parents we appreciated coming back to a safe, secure and comfortable home after busy days in Paris. R and C loved Frederic’s breakfasts and the candy dish. This home is very beautiful! Just a short 8 min walk to the RER B train into Paris. A peaceful, quiet location!! Frederic was a wonderful host! He answered all questions we had about traveling. He was so accommodating on breakfast times with our busy tourist schedule! The rooms were clean and spacious. It was a wonderful home away from home while we were in Paris!!

Gracious hosts and Beautiful house!

Frédérique and Jean_Luc truly love what they do! They enjoy meeting new people and being a part of creating positive and lasting memories. They are the perfect hosts offering assistance wherever needed and space to still feel private. Their attention to detail in anticipating guests needs and the care they have put into their beautiful home was heartwarming. They want you to have a good time😊. The house is equally meticulous with its old stone exterior and terraces spilling over with flowers to the great mixture of antiques and modern elements throughout the 3 story home. Beds and pillows were all very comfortable and dressed with equally delightful linens. We happened to be there during an unusually hot and humid week but were very comfortable with the cross breezes and fans that both bedrooms offered. The double arched doors to the terraces opened to the most magnificent view of the city below . Both sunrise and sunset will forever be a favorite memory of mine. And the Breakfast! Crepes and baguettes, homemade marmalade’s , hot chocolate made from chocolate 😊, organic juice made locally and so much more! They are wonderful cooks and wonderful hosts. The table setting was also a beautiful detail. Frédérique and Jean_Luc we’re thankfully good at English ( they may not agree but we think they were a godsend!) and were very helpful in guiding our navigation and offering suggestions on restaurants and activities. The train station is an 8 minute walk away through beautiful streets of more great houses. It is about a 20+ min ride to the city where you can do most everything from walking distances or short bus hops. Our last day we were exhausted but had time to kill before our pm flight. Frédérique and Jean _Luc offered to let us keep our luggage there While we took advantage of our extra time to do something. We were thrilled to discover that a 10 min walk up the road led to an aboritorium with amazing walking paths through gorgeous gardens . It was the perfect ending do our stay. The best part of all was the conversation and friendship we made with Frédérique and Jean _Luc. They truly love what they do! Thank you for the wonderful memories ❤️
