El dormitorio 1 tiene colchón King de espuma viscoelástica y TV de 42 ". 2 dormitorios con dos camas nido y TV de 42 ". La sala de estar tiene un televisor de 50 ", con un sofá que hace una cama queen y un futón que hace una cama doble para un espacio adicional para dormir. No podrás superar esta ubicación. Justo al lado de la cafetería, a poca distancia de la galería y las tiendas. El baño tiene una combinación de bañera / ducha. Pisos de madera en la sala. Cocina llena. Cable, internet y lavadora secadora (en área común).

Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation. This property was situated downtown Hot Springs, a few blocks from The MammothSite. Everything was clean and ready for our stay.

The best part of our vacation - home

This is an apartment! One of the reasons this was our best vacation ever was the ability to come “home” after a hectic day of site seeing and relax and talk about our day. The road is torn up, it’s a mess, and we have never enjoyed a vacation more because we had this to come “home” to.

We sure appreciated the board games that were available for us as the town was pretty small and didn’t have a lot to offer for a nightlife. The air conditioners could’ve worked better as the one in the bedroom kept blowing the circuit.It was just mainly frustrating at night. But we had some hot nights. We really enjoyed the spring pool and the mammoth site. Thank you again for the use of this apartment.

Amazing Property

This apartment was perfect. Large living area. Spacious bedrooms. Walking distance to some wonderful entertainment, restaurants & parks. You will not be disappointed. The coffee shop downstairs makes an incredible breakfast as well.

A Sweet Spot in Hot Springs, SD

We enjoyed this stay in Hot Springs. The property had all that we needed for our visit in South Dakota. It's proximity to Custer State Park, Wind Cave and Mount Rushmore made it convenient for sight-seeing. The only difficulty was the steep stairs to get to the property. We enjoyed the location and the nearby coffee shops. We didn't realize how beautiful South Dakota is!

Great Stay

Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place. For what we needed it for, it was great. We were quite busy when we stayed at your place, we did black hill, Custer National Park, MT. Rushmore and many other things. The coffee shop to the right when you come out of the building was awesome. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place. It was very cute and clean.

Very nice place right in town

The apartment was a nicely renovated space with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the memory foam king size bed. The kitchen had all equipment that was needed to make meals. This place is spacious and decorated very tastefully. This was our second visit to Hot Springs and if it wasn’t for all the road construction (this is a sore subject for the locals), a very cute town with a unique history.

Weekend visit

We did a mini family vacation and chose to stay in the apartment. The host was communicative when we had some issues, and did the best she could to resolve them. The apartment was nice and comfortable, very clean. The beds were all quite comfortable, one of the more comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. It was nice to be able to walk for coffee, and walk the river, fill up water bottles at the spring, etc. If I’m in the area again, I would definitely stay again!

Hot Springs Get Away

Apartment worked out great for our week stay in Hotsprings. The only inconvenience was road construction going on that caused some delays with the detours and reduced available parking near the apartment. But that should be moving down the road further by mid summer and will create more parking once it’s complete.

Adorable place

This was an amazing place to stay. It was unique and had a lot of the old building charm, which I love. The king bed was comfortable and the rooms were in the back so it was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of dishes and cooking ware in the kitchen with complimentary bottles of water and mints, which my kids loved. Plenty of space! Loved it!! Will stay again if we are back in Hot Springs.

The apartment is in historic part of town across from park and has a wonderful view of some falls as you sit in living room. We were there over memorial day weekend. There was a lot going on during the day. Very quiet at night. The king bed was very comfy and Inviting after each day of activities. Angostura Reservoir located 20 minutes out of town. Dinosaur visit

We didn’t like the stairs. Hard to navigate, especially with small children. Air conditioning was barely adequate. BBQ grill was a disaster. Dining table was too small for our family. Beds were uncomfortable. Parking was ok except for the highway construction, which was no fault of the owner. It did serve our needs. There was plenty of room for the kids to run and play. TV’s were great as was the kitchen. We really liked the on demand water heater. Bathroom and shower were very nice. Probably wouldn’t stay again but would recommend to friends as the price was good.

Jerry, thanks for your comments. I can understand the stairs being an issue for small kids which is why we disclose them in our listing description. You booked for one person and had 4 adults and 2 children so no sure where everyone slept but we do have roll away beds when needed. I’m suprised to hear the beds that are there were uncomfortable, that’s a first for us. We spent a lot of money on the beds making sure they are comfy and our guest get a good nights sleep. I would definitely say you got a great deal for 6 people at the price you paid. Best to you next time finding exactly what you are looking for for a great price. Safe travels.

The property was difficult to find late at night with all the construction on the main road. The smell in the hallway and place was musty and like moth balls. The apartment wasn't fully clean and around the edging of the floor dust was very noticeable along with a hair ball found in the tub. Otherwise the photos are accurate and the communication was easy with the owners. Unfortunately we weren't able to give enough notice to them since our schedule was packed and put us in places without wifi. We couldn't stay the full time scheduled and informed them but weren't able to get that back or the cleaning service without photos to show what we experienced. We just ask the Lord to Bless them no matter what. Amen

Thank you for your review, although you did not tell me anything about any issues until AFTER you left. We are not able to rectify anything after you leave, if needed. It appeared your plans changed for your revival and you left early wanting a refund. Leaving a bad review knowing it hurts us is not Christ like.

Excellent Location!

The property is nice, it's tough to keep cool on a hot evening but the unit itself is inviting, spacious and access has been made very straight forward by the property owner. They did a great job of renovating a 100+ year old building/unit to feel updated and very accommodating to today's standards and needs. The property owner was very quick to respond to any questions we may have had, and they were kind and professional. the unit is in an excellent location! Although the town is going through some major road work, the shops up and down the street, along with their owners were all open and incredibly friendly. We would HIGHLY recommend paying a visit to Mornin' Sunshine Coffee house, downstairs for breakfast and excellent service! We ate there both mornings we were in town. Two Cows Creamery was also outstanding with their made in house gelato and the flavors were incredible. The Black Walnut and Jack Daniels (no alcohol) together, were a hit for us! Overall, this is great place to stay when in Hot Springs, SD. Functional, well stocked with pots, pans, towels and bedding. It's welcoming with board gams to use in the common area as well as very charming back patio area. It's just a couple blocks from the hot Springs Pool, with slides and great swimming areas for both kids and adults. It's walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and great antique store, and more.

our Hot Springs Oasis

We had a GREAT & relaxing stay at the "Black Hills Oasis"!! We brought along our granddaughters (14 & 16) & they said they'd live there permanently - if they were old enough ;- ) BONUS - of a grill just outside on the deck & a washer/dryer is also available which came in handy after hiking & swimming at Cascade Falls. It was way more relaxing than being in a hotel with slamming doors & loud people in the halls at all hours of the night!! We made popcorn & watched movies in the evenings. The only issue for anyone with disabilities could be the flight of stairs going up to the apartments. We had no issues with that though. So we all voted, and want to give our stay a TEN!!! Maybe another time when it's only the hubby & I - we'll try a different apt there! Thank You sooo much! H & G Wentzel

Very nice property for an old building with old smells. The steep, long stairs were a workout arriving and departing. The modern updating was nice. It had all the comforts anticipated.

Black Hills vacation stay

This property in Hot Springs was in a great location with an amazing coffee shop, Mornin Sunshine, a few doors down. The hostess was super to work with made the whole Vrbo process really easy. Our family highly recommends this apartment as a wonderful place to stay while you are in the Black Hills.

An at home atmosphere

Was such a nice place to settle in after a day of touring and be able to have a quiet home cooked meal as a family. Brought balance to the day. The residents were very pleasant and there is a GREAT coffee shop/restaurant a couple doors down. Great stay!
