¡Bienvenido a Bear River Vineyards! Ubicado dentro de nuestra bodega hay una habitación bien equipada, que ofrece todas las comodidades necesarias para una experiencia relajante. Incluye una cama queen, un hermoso baño privado con pisos con calefacción y está equipado con una nevera compacta y microondas. WiFi gratuito y TV vía satélite también incluidos.
Viene completo con una vista impresionante de la viña y, por supuesto, una botella de vino de cortesía. Somos la única bodega en Nueva Escocia que ofrece la experiencia de permanecer en la bodega, no solo en la propiedad, e incluimos un recorrido privado y degustación con su visita.

The Bear River location was absolutely beautiful. The aspect from the suite and the winery terrace over the valley to the slope beyond looks all the world like Burgundy. The suite is in the winery building, a converted 19th century dairy barn, and has lots of antique charm and beautifully aged wood. It was comfortably well equipped with a very comfortable bed and the hootingbofborls at night. Hosts Darren and Su were very hospitable without being at all intrusive, giving an informative tour of the winery and vineyard followed by a tasting of their delicious wines. A great base to explore the surrounding region and attractions like Port Royal, Digby, and Annapolis Royal.

Beautiful views from the property. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Hosts were available if needed. Local coffee in the room was great!

This was a beautiful place to relax in peace and quiet! A fantastic view, Darren and Sue are excellent hosts and the wine is spectacular! Take them up on the offer for the tour, they are passionate about their vineyard and their wine. You can't beat a glass of wine under the Oak Tree in the center of the vineyard.

Sat with my morning coffee listening to so many birds, overlooking the vineyard, then with my wine as the sun went down. Beautiful peaceful property. Suite was well-equipped with great locally roasted coffee, wine in the fridge, and comfy bed. Hostess were lovely and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hideaway!

Our stay has been great. Nice location to use as a base to explore the area. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The winery tour was very interesting. Very knowledgeable tour guide who happens to be the co-owner!

Bear River Vineyard and Winery is another hidden treasure and Nova Scotia gem. Darren and Sue are very welcoming host snd hostess that mafe you feel immediately at home. The grounds were very enchanting and we had the freedom to enjoy every inch of this property. Our accomdations embodied warmth, character, and charm. Our entire weekend was serene and rejuvenating and exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and inspiration. A private tour by Darren and complimentary bottle of wine was an added bonus. Bear River itself is small but quaint. The people so friendly. We took day trips to Digby and the Annapolus Royal both offering great food, wonderful people and lots to see and do. It is a must stop and explore. Our sincerest thanks to Darren and Sue for an ecceptional getaway weekend. We will definitely return to this little NS gem.

Tranquility

A beautiful perch on the too of a steep valley with stunning views of the vineyard cascading down the valley slope. So lovely to sit out witnessing the sunset and hearing silence intermingled with bird calls. The room was spacious, well appointed and beautiful oak details. The bathroom was delightfully spacious! The old barn/winerey set up was tastefully designed. A lovely stay in Bear River!

A little gem worth getting to

Very welcoming hosts. Property is outstanding with the views of the vineyard. Just lovely. The room is very comfy and well appointed.The community of Bear River is also worth a visit. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Relaxing Hideaway

Darren & Su were fantastic hosts!!! The guided tour was very informative. The chance to see a couple whose hearts directed them into the year round business of winemaking is endearing. The room was spotless. They were responsive to our questions and requests. Nothing quite like being able to order pizza and watch the sunset with a bottle of wine.

A piece of serenity

Great hosts, peaceful and serene. Comfortable room and amenities. The owners make you feel so welcomed, personal tour and tasting. The vineyard and valley create the perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. Have stated here twice, and will be back again

Nos hôtes parlent bien le Français. L’environnement du vignoble est magnifique avec le coucher de soleil en cadeau. La chambre est grande, bien équipée. Frigo et mico-ondes. Salle de bain confortable. Hôtes très accueillant. On peut souper dehors dans le vignoble en apportant notre lunch. La visite et la dégustation valent le prix. Vraiment magnifique.

More than expected

Bear River Winery was an amazing getaway. The room had all the amenities we needed, the view was unmatched, the wine was better than the larger wineries in NS, and Darren was a fabulous host! There are many unique features to this winery I wasn’t aware of until Darren gave us a tour. And the town of Bear River was a lovely place too. I highly recommend a stay at Bear River Winery. We will be back next year!

Peaceful stay at a beautiful small winery.

Bear Creek Vineyard was perfect for a short stay in the Digby - Annapolis Royal area. We were greeted by our host Daren as though we were old friends and received a personal tour of this unique, charming winery. Our tasting experience on the terrace overlooking the beautiful vineyard and valley was heavenly. Our guest room was very clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. I would recommend this as a great couple’s getaway. Also, the wine is very good too!

The property was beautiful with amazing sunsets. The owners were a delight!! Very friendly, & hospitable. Our room had everything we needed. They made our stay very comfortable and their wine is refreshing and very tasty. We'll be back for sure.

We are from Nova Scotia but had followed career paths across Canada until finding this unique opportunity to follow our dreams home. We purchased Bear River Vineyards in 2017, but the winery has operated since 2005 and the first vines were planted in 1993. We are a small, family run, business that focuses on guest experience.

Stunning views, and the charm of a "cottage winery" in beautiful Bear River, Nova Scotia.
