Family chalet with pool between lake and ocean in Maubuisson

We rent out our fully equipped family chalet, ideal for exceptional holidays with family.

It features a large 50 m² living-dining room with a wood stove and large bay windows facing north, south, and west; an adjoining fully equipped kitchen with induction hobs, oven + microwave, two refrigerators, Nespresso machine, regular coffee maker, toasters, dishwasher, large pots and pans, and various small appliances.
A utility room in the basement includes a washing machine.

Ground floor: two bedrooms (one in succession) each with a 160 cm double bed, private washbasin, shower, and WC; plus a third “dormitory” room that sleeps 4, with 3 bunk beds + 1 single bed, washbasin and WC.

Upstairs: a large bedroom with a 160 cm double bed and two single beds, complete with its own bathroom (shower, bathtub, washbasin, WC); and a separate mezzanine with a large flat-screen TV, satellite channels, and two sofas (one is a sofa bed).

The bathrooms and amenities are fully functional, although not yet renovated in a contemporary style.

Bed linen and towels are not provided due to various management issues (however, pillows, large duvets 220/240, and small duvets are supplied without covers).
Three double beds are 160 cm wide, and the sofa bed is 180 cm wide.

A hair dryer and an iron are available.
Pets are not allowed.
Electricity included up to €50 per week (340 kWh).

Television instructions:

Switch on both the TV and the decoder with their remotes.

With the TV remote:

Press the “input” button

Select HDMI3

Use the decoder remote to browse and select your channel.

Entertainment:

Table football (please do not use for drying clothes or wet items).

Ping-pong table available.

Outdoors: two 100 m² terraces (north and south) surrounding the house, one partly covered, the other with two pergolas.
Swimming pool overlooking the state forest, 4 sun loungers, hammock corners under the pine trees, and an outdoor hot shower.

Parking is available in the driveway.
A WEBER barbecue is located under the passageway by the garage.
Children’s beach and pool toys (floats, buckets, spades, etc.) are stored in the terrace bench by the roadside.

Pool maintenance:
A pool professional comes once a week.
Between visits, upkeep is required with the provided cleaning robot:

Submerge the robot in the pool

Switch it on using the control in the pool shelter

At the end of the cycle, turn it off at the same switch

Remove it from the pool and rinse the filter with a hose

Store the robot in the pool shelter when not in use
You may also use the net for surface cleaning.

200 m from bike paths leading to the ocean (2.5 km), with its surf club and lifeguarded beach.

1.5 km from the center of Maubuisson with its lake, supervised beach, shops.

2 km from Bombannes with its lake, supervised beach, sailing clubs (ages 5 to 77), rentals (dinghies, pedal boats, paddles), climbing wall, tennis, mini golf, treetop adventure park, and forest walks starting directly behind the house.

6 km by bike: the beautiful Cousseau Lake Nature Reserve – a must-see preserved natural spot.

10 minutes by car: Lacanau-Océan with its golf course, equestrian center, shops, and restaurants.
