Fish on!

What a great place to experience PRIVATE Kenai River Salmon Fishing! Ronica rocks as a host, her home becomes your home away from home! Perfect set up for fishing, with ALL of the amenities you could want. We highly recommend this special spot and hope to return some day.

Fishing for Sockeyes

Fishing was a bit slow when we arrived and escalated all week long.Fish were close to the bank water was high.Great Success the last few days after a slow start.Ronica was a great host, house was well setup!Loved the exterior furniture and firewood!

We enjoyed staying on the river. We saw several moose while driving into the house. We did a few day trips from here so having it located centrally was great.

This is a nice home for two couples. There are more expensive and nicer homes, but if you want a peaceful place on the river, this is a great deal

Kenai Fishing Trip

Our large group of 8 enjoyed our time. Thank you for being such a gracious host, Ronica. We had a blast hanging out and catching fish whenever we pleased. Good fishing at location itself, but is also located near some solid public areas.

Relaxing river house

We enjoyed our time on the river. The place was comfy and roomy. Wonderful having the Kenai River right in the back yard! The host was helpful and easy to work with. She was very knowledge of the area.

Perfect Fishing Rental on the Kenai

We had a great time at Ronica's riverfront rental. She was very helpful and her communication was great. The rental is directly on the Kenai and was perfect for salmon fishing and the processing of our catch. No surprises and it had everything we needed for our group of 8 adults. Would highly recommend.

Great house, Great host, and great fishing!b

We loved our stay and will definitely return. The house is located in a great location for world class fishing. We filled the freezer with Salmon caught right out the back door. Ronica is an awesome host and is great at handling any request. We will definitely be back!

First time in Alaska

The home was nice, stocked with basic essentials and then some. The owner is very helpful. We planned to fish the kenai river at the vrbo but we arrived to early on our trip for the salmon to be running at that time , so plan accordingly if thats your plan. Beautiful area, lots of moose.

Beautiful location!

Ronica was a pleasure to work with. She was close by if we needed anything, but respected our privacy as well. She was friendly and helpful leading up to our trip and throughout the time we were there. The property is as pictured and the views of the river are amazing! The house was well furnished, beds were comfortable, and the Internet worked very well for streaming television at night. I would definitely stay here again. It was a very memorable trip and a comfortable home makes it perfect!

Salmon Fishing Trip

The house had plenty of room for five guys with room to spare. Ronica made the check in process super easy and she actually met us at the house to make sure everything was good. The freezer and vacuum sealer was an awesome surprise and came in handy for all the fish we caught. I will definitely book this house again.

Beautiful and cozy cabin with mesmerizing river view.

Our family enjoyed an almost 2 week stay at this wonderful property! We really liked the location and explored nearby lakes, rivers and trails. Fishing was good nearby on the Russian and Moose Rivers, but we were unable to hook any fish at the house for the first sockeye run with the high river. Ronica answered any questions we had and was very easy to work with. Anyone looking to get away and enjoy a riverfront home in Alaska should definitely stay here!

The stay was awesome! Ronica is a great host. The place was very comfortable for all of us to sleep, there is a full kitchen, the common area is plenty big with a river view. We were able to catch 100 pounds of Red Salmon right at the property to take home. The cleaning table, refrigerators, freezers, and vacuum sealer were top notch allowing us to do all the processing ourselves. The run was amazing! We ate Salmon almost every day and could've brought home twice as much as we did if we wanted to. She was very helpful and nice to talk to. We had a flat tire ands he went above any expectations and followed me to Soldotna with a compressor borrowed from a neighbor, as the tire needed filled up once on the way. Fortunately, it was able to be repaired and we were back to fishing in about 2 hours. I can't thank her enough for that.

Ronica Rocks!

Myself and other 3 guests totally enjoyed this property. It was incredibly well stocked with about anything you needed. Some food, condiments, towels, pots, pans, fish smoker. Even fishing gear and fish processor. We loved dealing with Ronica and her beautiful rental. She works hard and is a great person as well. Thank you Ronica! I highly recommend this property. Gary, the Generator guy….and PA crew.

Fisherman's Heaven

This was our first fishing trip to Alaska for our group of High School buddies. We absolutely hit the jackpot with the Luv2fish home. Slept all 8 very large men comfortably and included all amenities we would need for food and drink prep. Not only is the owner knowledgable and well connected in the area with local guide services, she has intimate knowledge of how to catch fish in the back yard! A short drive to west for world class deep sea fishing out of homer or head east to the Russian river and Quartz creek for Trout and Dolly Varden on the fly. The Owner was easy going and always in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. I give Luv2fish my highest recommendation. We will be back!

One of the best properties we have stayed at!

Everything about our stay at LUV2FISH was great! The cabin was clean, very well stocked with towels, bedding, toiletries, etc. and while we brought everything with us there was a large supply of spices and other pantry type items available in the kitchen. Several from our group fished on the river but the fishing was slow during the time we were there so they ended up booking a charter with Mark Glassmaker and that was a great experience too. Ronica even had a vacuum sealer we could use and a large chest freezer to put the fish in. The outdoor space was beautiful being right on the river. There is a large firepit area we sat around each night and really enjoyed. We had a lot of questions and Ronica was very helpful and always quick to get back to us. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking and if we get back to the area we will definitely look to book here again. Thanks for everything Ronica! Karrie Pringnitz & Family

Alaska in July

We loved the place. We thought it was very comfortable and roomy. The Kenai provided a tranquility that was worth the price of admission. The only down side was that it was advertised as having Wi-Fi but it did not.
