Great location. Very clean. Nice layout w 4 bedrooms. Unusual bathroom situation was a little awkward - showers but no toilets. Toilets but no wash basin in one of the “powder rooms.

Amazing Property!

Perfect space in an active, fun and incredibly convenient neighborhood. 2 metro stations right nearby made it easy to get around all over the city. Highly recommend this clean and comfortable flat.

Great place to stay. Market, bakery liquors stores all very close. Were were a party of 8 and really enjoyed being together rather than in hotels.

Great location in Paris

Had a great experience staying at this property in Paris. There were 8 of us on a family trip and the accommodations were excellent. The location was also exceptional being near several metro stations with plenty of dining options. We would definitely stay here again and hope to make it back to Paris in the near future.

Near perfect

For our family of 9 the size and amenities were great. Location was great. The reason for a 4 star and not a 5 was because of no AC. There were fans that helped a bit with hot temperatures these days we really needed AC.

We were a mother daughter group of 7. There was plenty of space for all of us. Many bathrooms and showers. The apt was well located and very clean.

The apartment was perfect for our party of 7 adults. It’s conveniently located near 2 metro stops and walking distance to many stores, cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Our host greeted us the first day and gave us helpful recommendations. We all had a FANTASTIC time in Paris!

This apartment was perfect for our group of 8 women. We were looking for 4 bedrooms and we needed one of the bedrooms to have twin beds in it. It was spacious, had plenty of showers and toilets which is very hard to find. The kitchen was well equipped, modern and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone was very pleased. We arrived early on a rainy day and I had to contact the Agent who came within 30 minutes to let us in. He gave us a very thorough tour of the apartment and helped us settle in. The area was fantastic. We were close to grocery stories, restaurants and the subway. It is in a very quiet residential area and not full of tourists.My only critique would be the locks for the door were very tricky and difficult to use. However, with that being said, a very secure apartment.

4 couples ..3 nights, enjoyed the spacious living areas, cleanliness and location. Suggestions…shower over bath in main bedroom, plus shelves in other showers for soaps and shampoos. Otherwise get good, and would stay again.

Friends visit to Paris

Very convenient location to Republique train which left us lots of options, It would have been nice to be a littler closer in but train made it easy to get around. The bath and bedroom set up is not we are are used to, but it worked. The house was pretty well stocked and the couple of things we needed were promptly delivered.

Perfect spot in Paris for a large group

We loved our stay at Balthazar. We were a group of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids ages 2, 5 and 5) and this place perfectly accommodated us. It's big and had everything we needed. We had a few minor issues upon checking in, but the team responded within minutes and solved all of the issues which we really appreciated. A few reviews have mentioned the bathrooms being separate from the shower rooms, which is true, but this is also very common in Europe, and not a big deal. The location is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere or hop on the metro within a few mins walk from the house. Highly recommend this stay!

Great Experience

We really enjoyed the Republique area. Gregory got us off to a good start by showing us around the apartment and giving some tips for restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Temperatures were warm towards the end of our stay (8 days), so the apartment became uncomfortable. Fans were provided, which helped. It was a memorable family vacation.

Functional, Clean, Great neighborhood

The place was perfect for all of our family - grandma, sisters, my husband and 4 kids - 8 of us in all. The kitchen was great and HUGE for travel standards. It does not come equipped with food or anything-- which is fine-- there is an excellent grocery store MonoPrix just a 5 min walk away. There are charming cafes, bakeries all around. The street is pretty quiet and very quaint. We loved our stay here. I especially loved the giant wall of windows which are under represented on the VRBO photos. This place is completely VRBO/rental only, not someones house.

Amazing Trip

My friends and I flew to Paris to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday! Most of us have known each other since junior high school. We're all very picky about where to stay and I was in charged of the rental. Thank goodness the house was perfect! Of course, there were minor issues but overall it was perfect! Will definitely come back if given the chance.

Amazing Memories

I brought my granddaughter, her best friend, hr Mother and my best friend. It was a promise I made to my Granddaughter that when she graduated from High School I would take her to Paris! The apartment was authentic….beautifully appointed and in a wonderful area. Groceries….Bakeries and shopping within walking distance. I will definitely come back to this charming apartment. Thank you for helping to make this such an incredible trip.

Great for a big group!

Balthazar is outstanding! Host is terrific, rearranging our check in when our flight to Paris was delayed 5 hours. Apartment is big with a large kitchen island. Showers were great. Loved the Phillipe Conticini patisserie at the end of the block and a great wine shop across the street. Very close to numerous metro stops going in all directions. Really loved the location. Using the appliances can be a challenge so I would suggest that a binder with instructions be provided. The property manager did show us how to operate everything, but if you get stuck, use the Internet to figure it out. We were 7 family members from 16-70 years, and we never felt cramped. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Apartment!

This apartment is exactly as they have projected it online. We were a group of six women and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and we would gather at the dining room table or enjoy many conversations in the cozy living room. Yes, there were three bathrooms where the toilet was in a separate room but it worked out great for us when it was time to get ready for the day. The beds were comfortable and the rooms lovely. There is a great coffee shop just steps from the apartment. Two very close wine shops and a grocery. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well. The metro was close and we made our way all over Paris without a problem. The apartment is on the first floor but the lift was right there for those who needed it. We all would highly recommend this apartment for a larger group or anyone!
