Love this place

This is our second time staying at this home. It's right in the heart of seal beach and everything is walking distance. We will definitely continue to come back.

Great stay!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect - less than a block from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. I was a little concerned by the fact that it didn't have AC, but we were able to get a breeze off of the ocean. The home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including beach towels and toys for the beach. I would definitely recommend this home and hope to return!

Great place to stay

We loved this rental. The location was very convenient being so close to the beach, pier, and main street. Having a garage was a definite plus as we never had to worry about parking. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards, sun umbrella, and wheeled it all to the beach in the wagon provided. The beds were all very comfortable. We definitely recommend this home.

Nice but a little disappointing.

The kitchen was not very well equipped. Would have been nice to have more items for cooking. Certain utensils were rusty and broken. Home instructions were tucked away in a drawer not easy to find. Lounge furniture was broken and dirty.

Exceptional star for us 4.3 stars - could easily be 4.8

Our stay at this Seal Beach home was overall a delightful experience. The location is absolutely fantastic—just steps from Main Street and the pier, making it a perfect spot for enjoying all that Seal Beach has to offer. The breeze off the ocean and the well-placed fans meant we didn’t miss having air conditioning at all during our stay. The property was very clean, though a deep clean to address some dust buildup on the window sills and light fixtures would make it even more pristine. Unfortunately, the master bed had a squeak on one side, which concerned me enough that I ended up sleeping on the couch so as not to wake my wife. The other two bedrooms, however, were excellent—comfortable and quiet. With these minor improvements, I believe this rental could easily achieve a 4.8-star rating or higher. Overall, a beautiful property in a prime location that made for a memorable getaway!

Three days in Seal Beach

Nice location, sleeps six conformably, sleeping two adults on lumpy sofas is not fun. ( marketed that it sleeps 8) Parking & the rest of house ok. Some electrical problems with fans & other lighting. Cleaning people missed some towels placed in closet from past guests & dead flies in master toilet & tube. Again with a little maintenance this could be a great spot. Direction booklet differs from Maintenance company in so area, sheets left off or on, & placement for dirt towels.

Lots of doors to let the air through; great location and parking; good layout. However a number of maintenance issues and some of the appliances difficult to figure out. Problems with jacuzzi, door locks, some fans. Roof top could be cleaner. Mgmt company not easy to deal with and get solutions. They need more local reps instead of calling into a national call center with stock answers.

Great Location - No Management - No Support - Rotten Fish

Stayed Friday - Monday, checked in Friday and immediately requested towels, soap, sheets. I was told the supplies would be their that evening. Nothing ever came but empty promises multiple times a day via text. I received texts every day saying we are here to “help” and we are “sorry”. I don’t believe there was a local manager. Not even sure if I was communicating with a person or a computer. What does "help" mean when there are no solutions? What does "sorry" mean when you don't offer any reparations? Also the refrigerator smelled like dead fish. The location is great. That is why I could give it zero stars.

Great location and views. House is lacking.

Loved the location. Balconies and rooftop patio are great. House needs many repairs. Spacious but broken lights, remotes missing batteries. Kitchen poorly stocked. One tiny stove. Appliances are lacking. Barely enough silverware to get through one meal.

Inaccurate listing

Hotest week in So Cal history. The listing states the property has AC - it doesnt. 90 degree heat in house, could not sleep property manager (Vacasa) refuses to return calls. Had to check into a Marriott after first night to get some sleep. Will never do VRBO again- cannot trust property management to do the right thing when property is misrepresented.

Excellent Location

We loved the location of this property! Super close to all kinds of shops and food. The house itself is pretty outdated, and the floors werent cleaned very well, there were only a few hangers for clothes in the master, but there was ample storage space. The beds were comfortable, and the cross breeze was amazing. No screens on the doors, so that was a little weird, but we adjusted. We had a little issue with the garage keypad but someone came out right away to fix it. Overall a positive experience!

The overall property was very good. Location was outstanding. The 2nd bathroom upstairs does not have a nonstick surface in the bath tub making it very dangerous. All of the wine openers were broken and need to be replaced. I did not like the check-in procedures. The codes were not given until the day of rental, all my other rentals have been for at least the day before.

Great Location

This is a nice property to stay in with a perfect location basically across the street from the beach and one street removed from Main Street. Had a few minor issues that the property management took care of immediately. Kitchen is stocked well with dishes, serving pieces and wine glasses but I never found any larger chopping knives or larger pots to cook in. Most people want to go out anyway but we were there a week and had planned on cooking a few nights. Also wished they would have had a better oven. That being said it was a nice place to stay.
