El Wyndham Margaritaville Resort es un hermoso complejo de tiempo compartido justo en Smith Bay. Hay una hermosa vista de la bahía desde la piscina, el bar 5 O'Clock Somewhere, el restaurante y la piscina superior. Se encuentra en el extremo este, cerca de Red Hook, donde está el ferry a St John's. Hay varios restaurantes cerca, incluido uno en la propiedad y otro a poca distancia. I would've given this property a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the awful smell of the sargossum at the beach. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, the property is nice with its well maintained landscape, there is a free shuttle to your rooms (you will need it especially if your room is uphill), the daily programs they have planned for you, and the convenient locations of the bars on both pools. We stayed in a studio with a small kitchen. It would've been nice to have a bigger kitchen for us to cook in and save a bit there, but I was aware that it wasn't the case before hand. But we love having an ice machine and washer and dryer to our convenience. Believe me, you will use the washer and dryer often especially if you have a family who uses their bathing suits every day ... and they give you a few packets of detergent! We also love having the day trip excursions right at the property. It saved us on 1 day of not having to pay for a taxi cab. If you didn't know, the taxi cabs are paid PER PERSON and ranges from $6-20 (one-way) depending on where you plan to go. The Margaritaville is perfectly located next to some beautiful beaches Coki Beach (walkable but free shuttle is available), Lindquist Beach (you have to pay a fee), and Sapphire Beach. And there are some great local food outside of the property if you want to venture out and try something else. You won't regret your stay here, just don't hang out by the property beach!

Such a beautiful place!

We all enjoyed this property very much. The golf cart attendants made it very easy to get around the resort. The upper heated pool was a great way to end the day. Happy hour 4-6 everyday! The room was perfect for us and the fridge, dishwasher and sink came in handy. Checkin was hassle free, maybe skip the concierge desk unless you want to sit through a sales pitch and are interested in buying into the properties. I would recommend renting a car, we used Country Car Rental and had a great experience. Pick up and drop off at the airport made it very convenient. The car ferry over to St Thomas was easy and the beaches were amazing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Some of the staff was super helpful, others should honestly consider a career change! The "manager" of margaritaville restaurant who went to "look" in the lost and found for my sons stolen glasses who came back 20 minutes later after another staff member reminded him of his current task smelling of whiskey, you're possibly the worst! Honestly, it's no wonder we waited 45 minutes for over priced previously frozen burgers that were so burnt we couldn't eat them! I mentioned my son's prescription glasses got stolen, this occurred while we were in the pool swimming. When we asked the front desk if they could review the security cameras, rather than state they don't have any, they said they would have to talk to a manager and were very uncomfortable. Maybe they don't want camera's so there would be evidence of the bartenders blatantly serving underage girls. Do your research on the crime that has occurred at this resort before booking! You'll be just as curious as to why there is no cameras in the hillside pool as we were!

Amazing

First of all she was so amazing. She was so kind when I called and woke her up at the crack of dawn when I made an error booking my stay. She literally was a blessing to me and my children I can not thank her enough. The room was amazing. We had the presidential suite. Exceeded our expectations. We would definitely book with her again at any time. The resort is very nice and clean and the pictures online are very true, it’s very close to red hook where you can catch the ferry and get food. It’s right next to Coki beach and coral world. I’d recommend anyone to book with her and thank you again!

We loved it.. very nice .. clean rooms and whenever we needed something we had it within 20 minutes., everyone was really nice and friendly.. there is a lot of stairs to climb if you can’t find a driver to take u up but other than that it was a beautiful place to stay.The restaurant was ok but they need to have more of a variety.

Beautiful property and excellent service

The property is very beautiful and clean. The rooms were as advertised. Only complaint I have is that the beach was not accessible due to all of the seaweed which is not the resort's fault. Some of my towels arrived with stains on them too which was a bummer. However, The lady I booked my room through was so nice she upgraded our room at no extra charge to a presidential studio instead! That was a huge blessing since it was my birthday. I did ask if it can be a higher room but wish I would have explained in detail I wanted a 2nd or 3rd floor room. We got the floor unit instead on the hillside. Other than that everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to this resort.

Paradise!

Excellent property! Clean and beautiful views! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Plenty of fun onsite at the property. Great Reggae band, pool fun, lovely little market onsite, great restaurant and is nicely located. Best beaches are a quick ferry ride to St. John! Take a break from the beach in 2 beautiful onsite pools. This is a truly relaxing resort.
