We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house, Francis was so welcoming. The house was better than it looked in the pictures and was very well equiped, including a choice of many luxury towels. It was close to a lovely bakery, in a great location. We spent most of the time by the fabulous pool. We will definitely return one day.

This house felt like a hotel!

8 people (two families of four) have had the best week in this fantastic house. We have stayed at many houses in France and this was the best in a number of ways. Francis and Marie were so welcoming and generous and we were impressed with how equipped this house was. Great location, beautiful bakery over the road and we will more than likely return! Brantome was a pleasant surprise and a hidden gem in the Périgord!

Fantastic property near Brantome

We had a fantastic time. The villa is superbly well equipped and the swimming pool and outside kitchen area are amazing. Francis is an excellent host, really helpful and kind. The villa is near an excellent bakery and cheese shop, but equally you can be walking in beautiful countryside within minutes. Brantome is only minutes away for a supermarket and restaurants, and for canoeing on the River Dronne. We had a brilliant two weeks here and I highly recommend it.

Fabulous property - super holiday

We had a fantastic two weeks in this beautiful house near Brantôme.It was so well equipped - everything was provided. It was so comfortable in all rooms - really home from home.We were a party of seven with ages ranging from late seventies to a 19 year old.Pool was so well used as the temperature was extreme - 38 degrees most days.Francis the property owner is absolutely delightful and so kind, providing us with fresh croissants and pain au chocolate on two occasions.We thank him for making sure that our holiday was so perfect.Thank you Francis - you are a true gent.

A great stay in Champagnac de Belair

we had a fantastic stay at this house. the facilities are excellent and an ideal place to spend sunny days by the pool. there is an excellent (although expensive) restaurant at the nearby hotel. Brantome is so close with many restaurants and shops. The kitchen is well kitted out and the hosts very generous.

What a fantastic time we had at this property. The house was immaculate with everything we needed for our stay. We spent most of our time at the pool house which had BBQ microwave cooker and fridge freezer as well as a shower and toilet so really no need to go in house which was perfect as my three young grandchildren rarely left the pool area. Within five minutes walk there is a patisserie and cheese shop and Brantome which is a short drive away has a supermarket and a choice of restaurants. On arrival we were greeted by Francis and Marie who could not have been anymore helpful our welcoming. Francis left croissants on Wednesdays when he came to clean the pool and both came to clean the house completely changing all linen half way through our stay. Francis was also there to wish us bon voyage and had a gift for each of our grandchildren what a lovely couple.

Fabulous Wow factor holiday home

The spacious house with its amazing pool and huge grounds are just perfect for a family/group holiday. Francis was a terrific host and extremely helpful and generous. The pool is enormous and immaculate which together with the pool house and its kitchen with all facilities provided everything we needed to have a fabulous holiday. The house is very well equipped, spacious, super clean and very comfortable. Lovely bathrooms too. In this little village there is a bakery just a short stroll away for daily fresh bread croissants etc and two supermarkets Carrefour and Aldi are just a short drive. Brantome is a beautiful town about. 10 mins drive. This property is highly recommended by the adults and children alike! Thank you Francis

Wonderful!

We had such a lovely, relaxing time at this property. The garden and pool are stunning and our teenagers really enjoyed the space and pool inflatables provided. Francis is a wonderful host, very friendly and generous, he made sure we had everything we needed and more. The house is charming, full of character and was very clean. Champagnac-de-Belair is an attractive, small village with a really good bakers that has recently moved to large, modern premises. Nearby Brantome is beautiful and we spent an afternoon canoeing which was great fun. Trying to get over the weirs was interesting and provided much amusement to passers by! Truly a great holiday, thank you.

A wonderful stay in the beautiful Dordogne

Condat-sur-Trincou is a lovely property with modern facilities and lots of room for a family holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and sufficiently large to allow adults and children to relax and enjoy the garden, pool and sunshine. The charming village of Champagnac-de-Belair and its boulangerie are an easy walk and Brantome and other places of interest are easy distances for a splendid lunch or dinner. Our hosts were wonderful, anticipating our needs as an extended family travelling with a young child - a cot and highchair were provided! They greeted us with wine, fruit and coffee which was very welcome after a long day of travel. Communications were excellent and we had no difficulties meeting and then accessing the property. A lot of information was provided on local activities and places of interests, which we took advantage of and greatly enjoyed. Nothing was left to chance - thank you Francis & Marie! One week was not enough and we definitely hope to return!

My wife and I, our two grown up kids and their partners (plus two dogs) had a wonderful stay in Champagnac-de-Belair. Francis’ house is well appointed with everything you need and was very clean. The pool is probably the largest we’ve seen in several years of holidaying in the Dordogne and the dining area by the pool house became our favourite place for evening BBQ meals. 
The local area is beautiful. The river Dronne runs through the village and my kids found a place to play football/tennis/basketball. There is also a fantastic boulangerie which helped me fuel some long bike rides! Brantôme is only 10 minutes away and is very picturesque and offers some fantastic restaurants and local shops. Francis was super accommodating and a genuine pleasure to get to know. We may not be fluent in each others language but we connected so well. All the best Francis, we would love to return in the future.

Magnificent!!

First of all, Francis is a wonderful friendly host - very welcoming, attentive and generous. Thank you for the complimentary wine and the gift of fresh croissants one morning! The house is perfect for two families as we were, both with teenage children. There is a double bed and twin room downstairs with bathroom and separte toilet. Our friends were upstairs with their children so allowed plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped with great fridge/freezer and cooking equipment, even a nespresso coffee machine. There is also washing machine and drier available to use. Some holiday rentals I have been to though, lists all this stuff but then nothing else. Francis ensured there was everything we needed such as coffee pods, milk, dishwasher tablets, toilet roll, laundry liquid, bbq coals, soap literally amazing makes it so welcoming! There is a really good fan in each room so we didnt really need air conditioning, the temperature of the house is fine if you keep the shutters closed at the hottest part of the day. The best part about the house is of course the massive swimming pool and the pool house with shower, toilet, kitchen and bbq. Again there is everything you need down by the pool, so put some beers and wine in the fridge, choose one of the many sun loungers and relax!! The area is very quiet other than the odd dog bark and it is a short walk to the bakery and the river. We visited caves and of course Brantome for restaurants and some kayaking - absolutely loved it!!

la plus belle des locations

Un accueil extraordinaire de Francis jamais rencontré jusqu'alors. Propriété fabuleuse tant par la maison la cuisine le couchage les sanitaires la piscine la cuisine d'été l'équipement.....enfin tout nous a plu ainsi qu'à nos enfants et petits enfants. Prachtig verblijf! Super vriendelijke gastheer!

Het huis was heel netjes. De ontvangst was super hartelijk en Francis deed alles zodat alles voor ons naar wens zou verlopen. Het zwembad was fantastisch. In de bijhorende poolhouse was alles aanwezig. Ook in het huis kwamen we niets tekort. Besluit: mooi huis, super zwembad, prachtige tuin, praktisch poolhouse en een heel attente, lieve gastheer! We komen zeker nog terug!

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé - en famille - un séjour incroyable de trois semaines dans cette charmante maison avec son magnifique terrain. La maison est bien approvisionne avec toutes les nécessités de la vie quotidienne - y compris les petites fournitures qui rendent la vie domestique plus facile - et est propre et confortable. La piscine est un endroit merveilleux pour se détendre et passer du temps en commun. La maison et la piscine sont bien nettoyées et la maison maintient une température acceptable même sous une chaleur de 30 degrés. Le propriétaire, Francis, était très attentif à nos besoins et très réactif, en plus d'être un gars très gentil. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir. De plus, il y a un merveilleux boulanger et un restaurant étoilé, chacun à 3 minutes à pied. Un petit coin de paradis.

Grande maison spacieuse, confortable et toujours fraîche malgré la canicule, grand séjour très clair donnant sur un grand espace de verdure arboré et une belle piscine avec une cuisine d’été où tout est absolument prévu. Et surtout un accueil très chaleureux, une disponibilité et une gentillesse du propriétaire qui fait tout pour rendre notre séjour très agréable. Lors de nos nombreux séjours précédents en location, nous n’avons jamais rencontré un tel accueil et de si grandes attentions. Merci beaucoup Francis pour ces vacances et l’envie de revenir pour un prochain séjour.

Geweldig verblijf in een mooie villa met zeer riant zwembad

Een zeer goede week vakantie gehad in de villa van Mr Francis Faure. Het zwembad is echt gigantisch met een mooi badhuis erbij waar wij alle dagen hebben ontbeten, geluncht en gedineerd. Het huis zelf is zeer stijlvol en luxe ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien met goede douches en prima bedden. Francis kwam zelf het zwembad schoonmaken halverwege de week en bracht direct een heerlijk ontbijt mee. Ook in de omgeving voldoende te doen, uiteraard in Brantome de markt bezocht, gedineerd en met de kinderen in een Kayak gevaren. Tevens dichtbij het kasteel van Bourdeilles bekeken. Overall gezien helemaal compleet en met 2 gezinnen een toplocatie voor 1 of 2 mooie weken vakantie.

Our amazing holiday

Wow- What can I say! The perfect villa, perfect pool, wonderful location and the most perfect host you could wish for! It's difficult from the photos to show how wonderful it actually is- stunning! We had the best time- Francis has equipped this villa like a home, everything you you could possibly need is provided. He is an attentive and thoughtful owner and we would not hesitate to return here. 5 Minutes by car from Brantome which is full of restaurants and known as the Venice of the Perigord - Lovely restaurants, great canoe centre, lovely surroundings. Local Village has a boulangerie and pizzeria - Hope you all enjoy as much as we did Miltons xx

Excellent villa with lovely massive pool in the Dordogne with very attentive and friendly owner

We had a lovely week and would definitely return to this villa again. A modern, airy and light house that is very well equipped with everything one needs. Outside there are large sunny, secure and private grounds, a great pool house for eating and escaping the sun with bar and BBQ, and the massive and very clear pool is one of the best we have ever swam in. Mr Foure is a great owner and a lovely guy, extremely welcoming and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good holiday and answering all our needs. The very picturesque town of Brantome is only a 10 minute drive with a big Friday market, Carrefour supermarket and lots of kayaking opportunities. Please note that we had to use the french Abritel HomeAway site rather than its big brother Owners Direct UK to do the booking and we spoke french to the owner. 10 out of 10.
