Size of condo was larger and better laid out than most. Extremely convenient for shuttle bus to village and base. Home was Very comfortable and nicely furnished. Kitchen has everything you could need. While we did not use it has a true wood burning fireplace and some great tech for eyes and ears. Owner easy to communicate with

Well stocked and convenient

Great location and shuttle service during the day for skiing. Well stocked kitchen and organized. Would definitely stay here again winter or summer.

Ski weekend getaway

The place was very affordable and excellent on-site amenities. There was someone parked in the assigned parking space, but the host and property manager were quick to respond to correct the situation and ensure we had adequate parking for the weekend.

Family ski trip

Location is good, convenient to the town shuttle. Hot tub / pool just a few steps across the back yard. Condo was well stocked with the various necessities. Would definitely rent again.

The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils and tableware. The community hot tub is a short walk from the patio. The he only negative is that there are a lot of steps down to the unit.

Great Ski Get Away

Very comfortable and well outfitted one bedroom condo. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you might need for meal prep. Sonus audio and very large screen TV. Ski shuttle access every 15 minutes right outside the door, although there are many stairs to navigate. Short walk to hot tub and clubhouse.

Beautiful and Convenient

This is one of the most beautiful and well-stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. The location was incredibly convenient for using the bus system to get to the mountains. There were so many nice touches throughout. Lots of toiletries and laundry supplies and kitchen slices and such. Check in and check out was very easy and efficient. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to experience the Aspen area.

Great Condo for a Couple

Kirk's place was really nice. Perfect for my wife and I for a 4 day ski vacation. Shuttle stop is virtually right out of the door to take you to the Snowmass Base; otherwise, it is a 20 minute walk. We ended up cooking each night, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. My wife even commented on the high level of cleanliness which hasn't always been the case with other properties. Kirk was great to promptly reply back to a few questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Closer to ski in ski out than we thought

Kirk's place was better than expected. This is a nice place that is somebody's home as opposed to a typical rental. It's also easier to get to the slopes than expected. You could walk a hundred yards and be on a trail you'd need to traverse if there's lots of snow. There are a lot of steps out of the place but we really didn't mind and it's easy to get to hor tub and pool via the back. We would definitely return!

Amazing VRBO

Although we were not able to enjoy our full stay at our VRBO because of flight cancellations, when we finally arrived it met our expectations and beyond. All the amenities one can need. Extremely clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Great communication with the host. Instructions for check out were clear. Would definitely recommend this property. We didn’t get to take advantage of the slopes but the property was in an excellent location to the shuttle bus. Beautiful views from the back.

Very Nice!!!

Kirk’s condo is very nice and spacious and has nice windows and doors with views of the mountains. We were very comfortable during our stay with a comfortable bed and living area. The shuttle stop was extremely convenient, located just a few steps downhill from the condo. I don’t recommend this condo for anyone that has a hard time with stairs, as it is a six flight walk down to the condo. It’s more convenient to leave skis and poles in the car, as the shuttle is close to the parking area.

Great for skiers.

OK, first off: stairs. You have do go down a lot of stairs from the parking lot to the front door. If you can get past that it’s all awesome. Step out the patio door and there’s a trail to the lifts and the village. The shuttle picks up right there too. Owner was great. The welcome book has a lot of very useful info about getting around and finding stuff. Very comfortable. (Heated parking lot! Seriously!)

Outstanding Condo for Summer or Winter

Outstanding Condo. Everything was top notch (owner, process, condo, supplies, access, etc) The condo is located close to the City Market. You can walk outside and hit hiking trails in the back during Summer. You can hike down to tge bridge to catch the ski lift in Winter. What a location. Outstanding Condo and very clean. Everything is well taken care of and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking needs. There is also a washer and dryer. The owner is very friendly, prompt and helpful. All around gem

Snowmass Condo

Just got back from a four night stay at Kirk's condo in Snowmass. We have skied at Snowmass many times and when staying on the mountain have stayed slope side with a "ski-in/ski-out" condo, which often entailed a short walk. This trip was fairly short notice and Kirk's condo was available at what e thought was a reasonable rate, so we decided to give the other side of the road a try. This condo was much nicer than the slope side units we had stayed in before. Very well appointed. It did have the stairs, but they were certainly manageable for us. The bus ride was only 10-15 minutes and the stop just a few feet from the top of the stairs. Would definitely stay here again.

Not happy

We arrived at night there the lights were minimal. (Very dark) All the condos on the left were lit up with the unit # having direct light on them so you could find them. Ours was not it was to the left and had no lights whatsoever! Stood out in the cold for 30 min till a cop helped us find it. People were not friendly and it seemed like you were not welcome. Many flights of stairs so if you have luggage and ski equipment and a long day of traveling that’s a pain. In the condo when we arrived 3 pieces of wood and only 1 extra roll of toilet paper. The instructions for getting wood was not clear. I feel like when we were gone someone was in the condo snooping around. (Can’t prove that) Overall won’t be back.

Our first thought is we regret any renter not have a positive expense and we work very hard to make sure each stay is a great time. You can simply look at our past review to see that we take great pride in this. With that said, allow us to address each of the points brought up: 1. lights were minimal – there is ample lighting for stairs and parking to ensure safety. The Condo Association has purposely not flooded the building with light as this is a natural area and light pollutions is not welcome. With the lights as they are you are able to see the milky way from the back deck! 2. Stood out in the cold - We encourage all guest to contact us immediately if they are having issue. If the guest would have simply; called, texted or email we would have help them. 3. People not friendly – We have never experienced this with our neighbors or guest. We can only surmise that since the guest were caught smoking on the properly, there is a strict no smoking policy, that they took this warning as “not friendly”. 4. Stairs – we clearly state that you must walk down to the unit. This is also stated in past 5-star reviews. 5. Wood – there is more than enough wood to burn. The guest has to simply get it form the common wood storage. As explained in the welcome book. 6. Toilet paper – this is not true; we leave extra toilet paper and paper towels. If the guest needs more the store is a 10-minute walk or bus ride away. 7. Condo instructions – we provide a very simple welcome booklet that outlines the use of the condo. It is very straight forward with lots of photos to help. Again, if there are any issue the guest only has to ask. 8. Snooping – we take great offense to this speculation, as this guest admits to. We take everyone’s privacy seriously and would never enter the condo without permission. We hope that you will see that we very much care about your experience and are happy to prove it to you. If there is any issue whatsoever, we will be ready to assist, just ask! We look forward to see you at the condo soon! Kirk

Nice furnishings, great view, well located

This condo is a really pleasant stay. While it's not large, it has beautiful high-end furnishings, and very well maintained. Well cared for and evidence of owners spending time there. Especially nice is the comfy/firm king size bed, nice linens, down pillows, black-out drapes. Super quiet at night. Slept really well. Very pleasant in the summer to sit on the back patio next to the grass and watch cyclists or runner pass by on the trail. It's a gorgeous view and super relaxing. Well located condo. I was able to walk straight down the hill thru the condo complex, across the street to a 2 week class at Anderson Ranch Art Center nearby. Didn't mind the 3 flights of stairs from parking lot (yay! an assigned spot!) to the front door, but people should be aware. Loved this condo, would come back again in a heartbeat. Oh, and since we were there for 2 weeks, I shopped at nearby Clarks market and cooked dinner some nights. Kitchen is reasonably well equipped.

Beautiful spot for summer break!

This condo is beautiful and cozy, and it resides by a trail 30 feet from your back door. The furnishings are lovely and artistic-great host, as well! Definitely recommend and plan on returning. It is the perfect spot just a few minutes from Aspen, Carbondale, etc. Thank yoi, Kirk!

All the comforts of home

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo is very comfortable and has just about anything you would want. The kitchen is well equipped and supplied with a full complement of spices, oils, liquids etc. We cooked a St Patrick’s day dinner with the crock pot while skiing. The free village bus and free rfta system to the other mountains are convenient and work well. The bus stop is just steps from the condo and is near the start of the route so you should not have to worry about a full bus. If going to the other mountains call the rfta info number for information. Just be aware that the condo is at the base of a 52 step stairway. We left our skis in the car at the end of each day so as not to have to carry them up and down. If renting skis from four mountain sports, they will provide free overnight storage and transfer to the other mountains as needed; $12/ night if using your own equipment.

Ski trip

Excellent location to ski all 4 mountains in Aspen. We walked 5 min to Snowmass and took the bus ( 5 min walk + 30 min bus ride) to the other 3 resorts. The apartment looks amazing!

Nice and convenient condo.

There were a few minor maintenance issues but overall it was good. Kitchen was fully stocked for anyone that likes to cook! Owner was very helpful with answers to our questions. Bus stop to mountain and village was just outside the door, very convenient.
