Hermosa casa en una zona tranquila y pintoresca.

Nuestra casa de huéspedes se encuentra en 5 acres en las estribaciones de las montañas de Tucson. Somos 1/4 de milla en senderos para caminar y andar en bicicleta de montaña. Estamos a 10 millas del centro de Tucson y a 10 millas del museo del desierto.

Durante su estadía aquí, hay muchas posibilidades de que vean venados y otros animales salvajes a través del patio. Estamos en una zona muy tranquila pero lo suficientemente cerca del centro de Tucson. Estamos a 20 millas del aeropuerto de Tucson.

Acabamos de completar una remodelación total: ropa de cama nueva, granito nuevo, 2 baños nuevos, pintura nueva y un sistema de alarma. Un televisor en la sala de estar principal y uno en el dormitorio principal, ambos tienen televisión directa. Cortinas opacas en el dormitorio principal.

Great place with beautiful surroundings

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Everything was clean and in top shape, the beds were super comfortable and the views and wildlife were awesome. We particularly enjoyed the close access to the Sweetwater preserve hiking and biking trails that can be accessed nearby. We would definitely highly recommend.

Beautiful home and another amazing stay

We absolutely love this home and keep returning every year. Monica is a wonderful host and house is very clean and comfortable. Our favorite thing is the large picture windows where we can look out on to the beautiful desert scenery - lots of cactus and wildlife. Totally safe and peaceful yet enough close to the main parts of the city to be convenient for gem show visits. We will return again next year!

Beyond Our Expectations

We enjoyed our three weeks at this very unique guest house. It is extremely well kept and furnished with everything needed. The property is a nature lovers dream. You can walk its gardens or hike in the nearby preserve. We watched birds and wildlife esque view of the Tucson Mountains. from inside and had a picture

Desert oasis

This place was perfect for our short stay in Tucson. Feels like you're worlds away yet you are only a short drive to civilization. I love the wildlife so seeing the coyotes, quail, cardinals, cottontails, and jack rabbits was such a joy. It’s like national geographic right outside your window! I can’t wait to have an excuse to go back. There was still some wildlife I didn’t get to see. Monica was super attentive and very sweet. Loved the history of the property and the love that went in to bring it back to life. If this is how you roll, don’t give it a second thought to stay here.

We love it and keep coming back

This was our 3rd stay at Monica's guest home. It is so amazing to wake up to the beautiful views of the desert; the house has large picture windows in the front. There is so much wildlife that passes through the property and it was fun to try to spot coyotes, javelina, hares and birds every morning and evening. Despite the natural beauty and wildlife, this home is very convenient to the city of Tucson. I highly recommend this home, it is beautiful inside and out.

Snowbird escape

The property is exactly as described. Even though we did not have ideal weather, We were able to golf, hike, dine and shop easily from this location in western Tucson. Our host was on location and very gracious and happy to accommodate our needs. The desert location gave us the opportunity to see quail, coyotes, deer, hummingbirds, hawks and owls right outside our window. The best experience was coming home after a long day to this beautiful property situated above Tucson’s twinkling lights

Our 2nd Stay at the Beautiful Guest Home

This was our second stay at this lovely 2 bedroom home. We loved it just as much this time. Our favorite things about the home are the gorgeous desert views out of the large windows at the front of the house, the comfortable beds and really nice master bath. Monica and her family live in the main house right across the drive but there is plenty of privacy. Monica is very quick to respond to any communication. We will be back next year!

Sweet Property Near Sweetwater

Half a mile walk from the guest house on back roads and you are in beautiful Sweetwater Preserve. How sweet is that? But it gets better. Inside and out the property is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. Not shown in any of the pictures is a table and chairs on the back patio that is wonderful for taking in the sunset or sipping a cup of coffee in the morning. Such a quiet and peaceful setting, we felt lucky to find this place. Monica was a great host and obviously takes great pride in providing her guests a 5 star experience.

Spring Weekend in Tucson

My wife and I selected this property so we would be in close proximity to the Marana TIMPA airstrip to see our son compete with his DBF team that had traveled down from Colorado for the weekend. The home was about 30 minutes from the TIMPA facility. We drove through the Saguaro National Park to get there; which turned out to be some of the most picturesque desert southwest scenery in Arizona. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The vacation home and the surrounding property were absolutely stunning. Extremely relaxing in and around the updated guest home. Very quiet neighborhood well off main roads. Huge panoramic picture windows on every wall of the house looking out over beautiful desert surroundings. Saw far more sonoran wildlife out the windows of the home than we did while we were out hiking. Best advice I can give is to alot plenty of time to relax at the house and let the birds and animals come to you. Amazing sunsets behind western Tucson mountain peaks off the back patio. Host was very friendly, accessible, and communicative before, during and after the stay. Don't miss out on this experience. Highly recommended. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Quiet beauty

So loved our stay! The views of the cactus garden and mountains were wonderful. Very quiet location except for the birds owls and coyotes. Sweet water preserve is walking distance away for good hiking. We were surrounded by other trails you can drive to. Monica was a very gracious and responsive hostess. The guest house was updated quaint and clean.. Looking forward to another stay! Mary and Tammy

Excellent Place

This place is really nice. Beautiful location up in the hills about 20 minutes from downtown Tucson. Very quiet and super clean. Stunning views of the mountains and great desert landscaping. It is a guest house located next to the main house but totally private. I would highly recommend this place.

Getaway!

What a wonderful time we had staying at Monica's place. She was friendly and helpful in all that we wanted and needed for our stay. The property was quiet, beautiful and exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. We felt welcome and well taken care of as guests. The accommodations were clean and well maintained. Best place that we have ever stayed in Tucson!

We absolutely loved Monica's guest house. We come to Tucson ever year and have had a different rental every time but this one is by far our favorite. The guest house is located in a beautiful area with tons of cacti and wildlife. We loved eating breakfast while looking out of the large windows at the incredible scenery. The beds are super comfy and it was so quiet at night that we slept really well every night of the trip. The guest house itself is very nicely updated and luxuries like the oversized shower and heated bathroom fans made our stay extra pleasant. We loved the little booklet inside the home that talked about the history of the guesthouse and showed pictures before its rehab. We are planning to return next year and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Splendid Serenity

Monica & Mike are lovely hosts. The house and setting are Zen like. The Pima County Open Space, which is in walking distance, is 880 acres with miles of trails. We spent two weeks here and loved every minute of stay. Monica was extremely responsive to our every need. Hope to return for all of the above reasons & the beautiful sunsets.

Great Tucson Guest House

Stayed in Monica’s guest house two nights while on an extended cross-country road trip. The guest house was fantastic. The overall property was like a desert park with easy access to great hiking/biking trails. Guest house is roomy, comfortable, well furnished a spotless. Host is a super communicator. Highly recommend this property.
