To the reader, please see the history of reviews over the course of 5 yrs and see this does not represent nor is consistent with this property / host. Some Context on the review: "6 Additional Service Charges" - This is simply inaccurate. There were 4. 1. "Property Damage Protection Insurance should of been covered under a returnable fee upon inspection of property" - That's exactly what occurred. This fee is released within 48 hrs of the checkout date pending any damaged to the home. Furthermore, this Fee is a requirement of VRBO, not the Owner. However, it protects the owner and the only control the owner has is what level fee is utilized, of 3 options. This house is set to the lowest at $59..... 2. VRBO Service Fee: Again, requirement of VRBO / Owner has NO control over this.... 3. The Cleaning Fee: This is probably the most standard fee and common fee you will see. Find me a host that takes financial responsibility for cleaning up after guests after their stay.. 4. Additional Guest Fee. Yes, this is controlled and implemented by the host. The house supports (6) adults. If maxing out the house at (6), there is a $28 fee that's noted in the house requirements. This is a decision as an owner that I have made years prior, evaluating the resources utilized and wear on the house with that size party. "Was disappointed with interior as pictures revealed a log interior (part of cabin ambience) was wall paper. Felt deceived" - This is the most interesting comment i've received in 6 yrs of renting. Nowhere In the description of the house, documents associated, or in communications by the owner at does it mention the home to be a "Log” Cabin. No other areas of the house have this design, so it should lead the viewer to understand that it’s not real wood. I suggest you do some homework on fee's, what's controlled by VRBO and what's controlled by the owner, before you want to leave a negative review on a someone's home. Lastly, saying you were "Deceived" is a very bold statement to make on home like this one. I've provided nothing but 5 Star service to good people who want a nice home to stay in.
