Exceeded Expectations

This home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations based the pictures. We were surprised at how big and spacious it was and it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. This place is definitely on our favorites list now!

Great location. Very clean and simple decor. Loved having a full kitchen that stocked with all your needs. The bathroom was very spacious. I would suggest watching out for the shower curtain. There isn’t a big ledge to keep water back and if the liner doesn’t stay in the shower it will get all o er the floor. The bedroom was a perfect size for 2 and wasn’t over run with extra pillows and blankets. I’d you needed extra tho they are in the closet. The living room setup if really cool for a couple to get away and just relax. Having that jetted bath there is optional for lounging with the windows open and the tv and fire place. Just perfect! One negative I have for that is. Omg does the water get hot!!! lol Great water tank, make sure your turning on the cold water too to help balance that out. There are suppose to be back wall speakers for surround sound, but we could never get that to work on the TV but we did get it work on the radio station, but we weren’t there to listen to the radio. The back patio is really nice. There’s a lot of space out there to lounge around, but there’s not much of a view as there is no view. It just looks at a bunch of bushes. You know the ocean is over there, but you can’t see anything. If there was someway to have that vegetation cut back, you would be able to see clear down to the beach and that would be the most amazing view ever.There is no beach access at this location. You do have to drive down the road to get to the beach

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was very roomy and pretty. However, the furniture, especially the couch, was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was very comfortable, though. We slept very well on it. All in all, we would stay again.

Great Honeymoon Spot

Great place to stay for our honeymoon, 104 definitely needs some maintenance done to it. One of the main things was that while we appreciated the piece of tape that was there to hold the dryer door shut our dryer door did not latch(Latch part number 131658800) causing us to have to run multiple loads to dry clothes. Besides that, the tub was clean, the fireplace was cozy, and It was overall one of the better places we have stayed in Ocean Shores.

Super cute and cozy

Would definitely stay again are room was nice and clean. People above us were a little obnoxious with there loud walking around and music in the middle of the night. Get a top room if this is a bother to you. But had a good stay overall.

First, note the 1 dog rule. I missed it and wouldn’t have booked this place if I had dug a little deeper. Second, believe the reviews. Positives: hot tub and TV worked and there have been some updates. New carpet and the wallpaper has been painted over so it’s all white. Negative: I wouldn’t call the one inch of ocean you can see from the deck an “ocean view”. Nor would I call ice cube trays “an ice maker”. The fridge had a bunch of sand in it. The wooden cutting board was dirty. But the best… the bed was NOT clean. The comforter had crumbs or sand on it and the sheets had something dried on them that resembled blood or chocolate. Thank God the unit had washer and drier (held together with tape - you can’t make this stuff up) so I could at least wash the sheets. I love Ocean Shores and have stayed at many hotels and condos and would never recommend this one.

The place was clean, the bed was very comfy, the coffee tasted great, that was supplied. The coffee pot needs a good cleaning it takes over 20 min to brew a pot. The white remote control did not work, could not get a new one in the three days we were staying there, so no local tv, only streaming,ok. The hot tub jets have two inserts missing. And there were no robes, like it showed in the add. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay.

ok but missing important elements

The overall experience was ok enough. I did have some issues that were very irritating. First, the jetted tub in the living room was crazy loud! and so were the neighbors' tubs! The upstairs unit turned theirs on at 10:30-11:00pm and we couldn't sleep.The TV wouldn't turn on and the directions in the book needed to be updated. When we finally figured out which of the four remotes to use, we were only able to get a picture but no sound. I suspect it had something to do with the cables that were unplugged. A call to the help desk only got me a "work ticket" for the next day. Then next morning, we wanted to scramble some eggs, only to find no hot pads/mitts, and ALL the pans looked like they had been through WWII: coating more than half scraped off down to the aluminum pan on three of the pans, and the fourth one wasn't too far behind. Too scared to use them. Had to work the microwave and make due. Please help out the next guests and get new ones. Also, I didn't take my bathrobe because the photos show that they are provided, but there were none there. I froze in my jammies alone. At least the fireplace worked, which was nice.The back door is missing the deadbolt, and only skimpy extra locks, and that made us nervous to go to sleep. Blinding front porch lights glared into the bedroom, making sleep hard. You need to provide blackout curtains. Hope this helps. I'd love to get some money back or a credit for a future stay, if the problems are taken care of.

The coast trip

We liked the area. Could hear frogs by the hundreds in the balcony. The jetted tub was nice, a little louder than expected but sufficient. Was clean and tidy.

Love Judith Ann!!!

I’ve stayed at the Judith Ann Inn in twice now and stayed in two different rooms. I loved both rooms!! The Abilene room has amazing beautiful soft carpet and was very clean when we arrived. We don’t mind the view we go to the beach which is literally 2 mins away and we love that we can wash our clothes in the washer and dryer provided in the room. The room has a cute mirror and a huge bed and huge closet to store your things. Our room last time was provided with robes next to the hot tub and this room didn’t have robes but we were provided with two huge beach towels instead which wasn’t a problem for us. The instructions are a little confusing for how to set up the TV. There isn’t a white remote that controls the TV satellite channels. The remote is a small black remote. The coax cord that is connected to the wall is a little loose and after wiggling it for a little bit it we were able to establish connection to the satellite channels. Also there is Netflix and other apps to watch on the tv which is great. We couldn’t get the surround sound to work but that’s not a worry for us the tv volume was loud enough. There wasn’t any coffee to make but other then that the whole house is filled with items to use. Dollar general is 2 mins away and we were able to get everything we needed or wanted for our stay. We will be back in the summer for sure!!!

Disappointed with care and cleaning

The location was convenient, but the property wasn't clean and needed of some repairs. Upon arrival, the box for the key was not locked and just opened when we started to enter the code and the key just fell out. As we we were settling in, we found garbage in one of the upper cabinets, as well as dirty utensils in the drawer and dirty glasses in the cabinet. The floors had spots of dust and debris and needed sweeping. In the bedroom, the night stand was pulled out at an angle and the clock was turned upside down. The bed looked hastily made and we found quite a bit of hair on the sheets (which was gross so we had to re-wash them). In addition, the right-side rail on the bed frame was not connected to the headboard, so we had to reconnect it to keep the bed from sagging. When washing the sheets, we found the dryer door didn't properly latch and there was old packing tape stuck to the machine (there was additional strips of tape hanging from the shelf to use in order to keep the door closed while drying laundry). The lock on the back slider did not work, so they had a make-shift lock to secure the door - it should be fixed. The hot tub did not look clean either, but we did not plan to use it anyway. We did contact Vacasa to let them know what we found and they did offer to send someone over later to clean, but we were pretty much done with re-cleaning the unit. All in all, very disappointing experience and will not be staying there again.

Very warn out inn

The building was adorable from the outside and clearly the interior pictures were taken some time ago as the carpets were all stained from previous pets, glass was missing from kitchen cabinet doors and the tv did not have sound dispite us following the directions in the suite manuel. The property is for sale and clearly the owners are not willing to put any money into maintaining the property. It was very quiet though.
