Just a few things

It's a great view and yes it's been updated. Hot water in both showers is reversed... agent needs to tell renters. The floors are wonky. unfortunately for us and no fault of the owner there was someone above us that walked so heavy it woke us constantly and below us was small dog that barked at 1am, 2am whenever it heard something. It wasn't a peaceful or restful place for us.

Family vacation

Great space at Carolina Beach. Close enough to town yet far enough that you don’t feel crowded. Only recommendation are for either hooks or more towel racks in the bathrooms/bedrooms, wet towels were the only issue.

Perfect

Our quick Memorial Day weekend getaway was great. The house was well stocked, clean and very convenient to the boardwalk, restaurants, etc. MY only complaint is the TV's. They are all streaming TV's with no access to local channels and the WIFI is spotty so even the channels you can get are sub-par at best. Having to go to the Intracoastal Realty office to pick up keys and then drop off is also unneccesary IMO. The condo door has a code box...so why do we need to come by the office. Just seemed like an unnecessary step in my opinion. We would still return to this unit even with the couple of minor issues. Thanks for a great weekend!

Fantastic location

We absolutely loved our stay. The location and view were breathtaking. We were close to all the tourist attractions without being too close. Will definitely stay again!

The stay overall was great. The pool was not open which was a bit disappointing but that’s nothing to complain about especially being so close to the ocean. The kitchen was stocked. Plenty of towels etc where given. There was plenty of privacy and local restaurants even delivered. Great location great stay.

Great location, Poor maintenance and management by Intercoastal Realty

First the good. Location of condo is amazing. Literally right on Carolina Beach with direct access to the water. Close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and activities. There are several areas that are lacking and are opportunities to improve though. At check-in we were advised that the refrigerator was in the middle of the kitchen and plugged into a different outlet because of an electrical problem but we were assured that maintenance was aware of and someone would be in touch to repair ASAP. When we hadn't heard anything by middle of next day we called and had to leave a message that not only was the refrigerator in the middle of the kitchen, but that all of the outlets on that side and the microwave above the stove wasn't working. We did not hear back from anyone our entire stay and everything was still not working at time of checkout. Nothing like spending your vacation in the middle of someone's renovation. Also, the doors to both the main hallway bathroom and the master bedroom do not close at all (and probably haven't for awhile by the look of them) due to the doors not fitting the openings. Overall, the location is 5 star, but the condo is poorly maintained and we experienced very poor customer service during our stay. Would not recommend staying here in its current condition and we will not be renting from Intercoastal Realty again.

Especially due to the pandemic, I was delighted that the condo was clean and linens were in sanitary bags. The water pressure was a bit low and a few door knobs needed attention, but overall I would give our stay a lovely 9 out of 10.

Great spot

We enjoyed the location, easy walk to the boardwalk area and easy walk to get onto the beach. Kids enjoyed it, kitchen was nicely stocked and beds were comfortable.

Getting in and out of the parking spaces is an issue, they are stacked in and very little area to maneuver. Outside of that it was wonderful

Just as described

Unit was very clean. Parking was difficult as your assigned spot is under the house and it’s easy to get trapped and be unable to leave when you wish. Luckily you can walk almost everywhere from the condo since it’s only half a mile from the boardwalk and many restaurants. We’d definitely go back!

When we arrived our view of the ocean horizon displayed a full double rainbow - super vivid colors. The kitchen was well stocked. We liked the location and walked downtown. The only challenge was our upstairs neighbors’ toddler constant elephant herd running and jumping - very loud. For the most part, we just had some good laughs about it.

However, the dishwasher soap dispenser didn’t lock, the stove needs to be updated (it burnt my cake without cooking the middle), and there’s mold on the bathroom ceiling! When we got there, the cabinets were practically full with food/medicine. The closets were full and a mess as were under the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. There is definitely an old/musty smell as well. 😔

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit faces the ocean, was very clean, comes with towels and linens and the kitchen is very well stocked. We had a great long weekend here. My only complaint is the parking. Two units share one long under-the-unit parking spot, which means that you have to coordinate in and out with another unit. If you can't get in touch with the other unit, you're stuck. There are a couple unassigned spots and I ended up using one of those because the other unit brought two cars. It worked out fine, but I would prefer not to have to track down another family out doing their own thing to move my car. Overall, I would absolutely rent this unit again.
