This place was fine - it matched the description and photos. We fit a Dodge Durango in the garage - a little tricky to maneuver into the garage from a tight alley, but it worked out. The master suite on the top level was nice with a large shower and opened up to the rooftop patio where we worked from on nice days. The guest sleeping on the smaller daybed in the main floor bedroom didn't care for the mattress and slept on the couch. The place is walking distance to the beach, a few restaurants and small convenience store, and 5 minute drive to a larger grocery store and other restaurants. The host was very responsive both before and during our stay. However, after our stay the host sent me a picture of the master bed allegedly from our rental and claimed we left black dog hair all over it, and attempted to charge to me an additional cleaning fee for violating the rental rules. Thankfully I had taken pictures of everything in the house before we left so I could prove that I did not leave black dog hair on any bed (I traveled from halfway across the US and didn't bring any pets), and that the picture of the bed she sent wasn't even from the house I rented. The host then withdrew the additional cleaning fee and apologized for the "confusion" - I'm not sure if this was truly a miscommunication with her cleaners, but it left a terrible impression just as I had returned home from my vacation. If not been for this final interaction, I would have given this place an excellent rating.
