Host was amazing! Super responsive! Great house for a family of 6 and a baby-loved the hot tub and pool! Would stay there again! Beds are all comfortable and bathrooms are perfect!

Disney / Universal 2022

Place was beautiful. Complex was too. Had a hiccup getting in at check in as we came in our rv. Place was strict, rv had to be approved in advance which owner (Mark) didn't know about either. NOT HIS FAULT. Took a few minutes to clear up and we were good to go. We had a great time and would stay here again

Thanks for your review. Robert was easy to work with and was understanding of the issue with an RV. This was the first RV that came in for our home. RVs have been in some of the driveways of other homes in the resort previously, but this RV was larger than the resort would permit to park in driveways. We were able to get them an oversized parking space to park inside the resort, but took a few minutes to get it worked out. Appreciate them working with us on this and now we know that depending on the size, we can get it approved prior to arrival so it won't inconvenience future guests.

Get away in Kissimmee

We have rented a few homes and the hot tubs never get warm. This hot tub actually gets hot. That alone was worth our stay. The pool was just as good. We didn't have any washcloths. Which was odd.. My daughter packed some from home so we were fine. Having 2 bag chairs would be great. We went to the beach 1 day. We had to buy a cooler and couple of chairs for the day. The pool table was missing a striped and solid ball. It had 2 cue balls but once you break them up you don't know which is which. Even if marked with a sharpie to tell the difference would be fine. These are small things that can be easily fixed. All in all, it was a GREAT stay, and a beautiful home. Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback. Thanks for letting us know on the washcloths, we had placed several in the home previously, so your feedback lets us know that they are no longer there. We did have a couple of coolers in the home as well, but it appears they are no longer there as well. Will get the pool balls replaced. We are always looking for ways to provide better value from our home and appreciate the suggestions.

Family Vacation

Stayed for a week with family and friends in March, kids aged 2months-6 years. Host was very accommodating and welcoming. Very easy to communicate with and highly responsive. Very seamless checkin and getting into community and easy checkout. Location and resort very easily accessible and close to Disney area and other attractions. Felt very safe in the gated community. Paid extra for pool and spa heat, weather during stay was warm but still needed the heat as nights got cool. Spa didn’t heat properly (get warmer than pool) at first but host was quick to fix issue once we communicated this. A few things we found strange like only a sponge to wash dishes with and no cloths (host explained this to us as it cuts down on laundry for turnover of next guests) however we preferred cloths so just purchased a pack from Walmart up the road. We rented additional playpens (only 1 came with house rental) and Bbq grill from rental company that worked great (drop off and pickup was provided). Both parks in community we visited were very nice and kids loved same. Splash park was great (water was very cold though, although kids didn’t mind it). Overall great stay! :)

Pool and spa

The maintenance personnel need to pay closer attention to light bulbs and pool operations. We had several light bulbs burned out and the hot tub jets did not work properly. We spoke to Mark on several occasions and he advised us to contact the maintenance yet they told us to contact him. We paid for the pool to be heated, however, they don’t turn the heat on until the day you arrive and it takes 3 days to get warm. Many of the homes in the area have solar covers which would have kept some warmth in the pool. The hot tub jets would come on for only 2/3 minutes and then turn back off. Granted we stayed during a very cold spell, but if the pool had been heated prior to our arrival and had a solar cover we could have utilized it. After several conversations with Mark he did refund the pool heat.

Spacious home with great location

An excellent owner is one of the most important points for us when booking a house and from the start Mark was highly responsive, answering promptly and patiently. All the information we needed to arrive was supplied in a timely manner, and this was very straightforward. We did have some confusion on how to lock the door (which was dealt with promptly) but an extra sentence in the welcome instructions would have prevented this confusion. The location is excellent (we deliberately chose Windsor Hills for that reason) and on Disney days we came home for a break before heading back into the parks and location was perfect for this. Being on a gated community also provided an extra level of security for our stay and the bonus of being able to use the on-site Club House and pool although we only visited once. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for all of us (we were two families) to have our own space if needed, with the teenagers making full use of the games room and the pool. There were lots of towels supplied in the house which was great for both swimming and refreshing our bath towels during our three-week stay. In general, the house was clean but there were a few areas which had been overlooked (the door plate from the kitchen to the pool deck and air conditioning vents were dirty) and a more thorough check by the cleaners is needed. As we were staying for 3-weeks and didn't get any cleaning during our stay the provision of some basic cleaning supplies would also have been helpful. The main bedrooms were a generous size with plenty of storage space and the theming of rooms caused some commotion with the girls bagging the Star Wars room before the boys even realised it was an option! The kitchen was spacious with a large kitchen island for food preparation but we found the range of cooking equipment limited; when self-catering for large groups we found that we lacked oven-proof glass cooking dishes although there were plenty of pots and pans for the stove top. We also found that the dishwasher didn't clean very effectively (so we reverted to hand washing dishes - not a real problem as we got the teenagers involved) but we let Mark know about this for future guest use. Overall this was a comfortable house for an extended holiday and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others.

Great stay easy commute

This place was nice and clean. The commute was fairly easy to anywhere we went. The owners were quick to respond and answer questions for anything we needed. Would stay again!

My wife Michelle and I (Mark) enjoy our family. We have 4 children and just welcomed our first grandchild. We live in Northern California and enjoy spending time with family. We live near a large lake and enjoy water sports, travelling and games.

We looked at several properties, but then determined that we wanted to own in a place that we would want to visit ourselves. We love all things Disney and with the proximity to Disney and Universal (family members are big Harry Potter fans) we found this home close to Disney that would accommodate our growing family. We look forward to adding to the home and providing a retreat for vacations.

We think that you will enjoy all that the resort has to offer as a place to relax when not at the theme parks or going to the beach. Spending time in the Orlando area has always been magical for us.

With a close proximity to Disney, it is a short hop to the park to enjoy your day with the family and friends. Other theme parks are close by and we have close access to freeways. The resort offers many amenities that make this the perfect place to spend time with family and friends.
