Perfect getaway w such an amazing view!!! We could conveniently launch our boat at the bottom of the hill and enjoyed different amenities the host so gracefully thought of during our time off the water!!! The view alone is worth it all!!!

The view from this Diamond Bluff house was breathtaking. In fact, everything about the house was centered on the view whether you were enjoying a meal, relaxing in one of the bedrooms or the living room, or enjoying the deck. We loved it!

Lovely house with awesome views of lake

We enjoyed staying at this residence. The main house and guest house made it possible for our party of 18 to be close together. The view is breathtaking. The description of the main house said it has five bedrooms. The 5th bedroom is actually a den with a futon. A bathroom downstairs would’ve been nice. Overall, I would recommend this beautiful house and guest house to others.

Awesome home with an awesome view.

This is was our 5th year to go to Greers Ferry for a “guy weekend” with college friends, to play golf, get on the lake and tell stories. This was the best place we have stayed. Owners were easy to communicate with and check in and check out were easy. There were 10 of and we had plenty of room. The view from the back deck is one of the best ones I have ever seen. Kitchen has everything you need. There is a place to launch your boat 2 min from house. If u have a large group I would highly recommend this one. If you have a smaller group they have a 2 bedroom guest home next door that is also availanle or for really large group typ

Amazing home! And the VIEW!!!

This house (and the guesthouse) are incredible. So well equipped and furnished. The view of the lake was breathtaking. The Wi-Fi wasn’t fast enough for our business meetings (video conferences) but when we weren’t meeting we were loving everything else about the house. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare the food we brought. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. We loved our stay here!!

Perfect for our group

Our faculty and staff utilized this property for a pre-semester work retreat. The property was perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen basics. The notebook of "helpful information" was truly helpful. Information on how to turn on the ceiling fans would be the only thing I'd add. Communication with the owners was fantastic - we'd definitely use this property again. Thanks to the Bakers for a great spot!

Our favorite VRBO

This home was perfect for our family. We have a toddler and there was plenty of room fir her to run around and play (safely.) My mom stayed home and enjoyed reading and relaxing on the balcony while my husband and I took out boat out on the lake. There is a very nice boat ramp less than a a mile (apx) from the house. The house is SPOTLESS and I can assure you that I’m super picky when it comes to cleanliness. This home was very very well equipped. The views are beyond your wildest imagination! We watched the fireworks go off in the distance and we also watched a thunderstorm move over the lake. The view from this house unlike anything you have EVER seen. I promise! We travel frequently and we have grown up on Greers Ferry Lake. This property and the owner are absolutely THE BEST we have ever experienced.

Met our needs

The view from the deck was breath taking. The house is laid out strange. Sleeps 14 as per listing but there are only two bathrooms with showers. Fourth bedroom in the basement was accessible through garage only and NO bathroom on that level. Hide-a-bed in basement was unusable. Overall we had a great stay but overpriced compared to other places we’ve stayed.

Beautiful Home — but we had mice.

PROS of this house first: -the view is spectacular and arguably the best view you’ll find in the area -the house is spacious -location is quiet, private and serene -the host is responsive, kind, and agreed for our group to stay there at a discounted rate so we could afford the weekend there. -more than enough dishes, towels, kitchen linens are available for use. CONS One word: mice. On the first night of our stay, we found a mouse scurrying in the living room. At first, we thought this was just a lone country mouse that had snuck in the front door. However, in our attempts to capture the mouse (which we eventually did), we discovered more evidence of a mice infestation. One of the queen bedrooms had a dead mouse stuck in a trap behind the bed. The sheets had mouse droppings and a pillow had been chewed through. When we went to put new linens on the bed, mouse droppings were found on those, too. The bed itself had a plastic sheet wrapped around the mattress, presumably to protect it from mice. A third mouse was discovered scurrying in the bunk room and left droppings on the beds and floors and backup linens in the closet. Those staying in that room could hear the mouse running around the floor at night. We never caught that mouse. Additionally, mouse droppings were found all over the kitchen linens folded inside a kitchen cabinet drawer. We also found mouse droppings on the living room floor, under the couch cushions and on a toilet. Thankfully, we were able to wash everything in hot water in the washing machine. But we weren’t expecting to be cleaning floors and doing laundry during our vacation stay. It is clear to us that the mice have had the run of the place for some time. The owner said they used to have a mouse problem in 2019 but that it has since been resolved due to the apparent 5-star reviews. I fully believe the mouse problem was resolved, and our review would be 5-star, too, if it weren’t for the mice. But these reviews only date to 2020 and it’s clear in May 2021 the mice have returned. Pest control was there when we left and so hopefully the mice will be fully exterminated and the house deeply sanitized before the next guests arrive. I think this issue lies more with the cleaning crew than the owners, because if the crew had thoroughly cleaned the house they would have discovered the obvious mice droppings, torn pillow and soiled bed linens. Sans mice, this is worth vacationing to!

Wonderful place

Quiet, beautiful, large property. Magnificent views. Open concept with kitchen, living area, breakfast area.. spacious, beautiful. Master, guest bedrooms all beautiful. We plan to return!

Relaxing weekend

The home is tucked in the woods giving a nice feeling of seclusion but without being too far off the beaten path. Plenty of parking if you have multiple vehicles coming. The home is very clean and very spacious with plenty of room to spread out which was important for our party composed of multiple families. The interior is modern and stylish and very comfortable. The view through the back windows and off the back porch is truly breathtaking. An enormous part of the lake spreads out before you with mountains off in the horizon. The porch is large and easily accommodates several people which is important because everybody will want to be out there. There’s a boat launch a very short drive down the hill for easy access to the lake and the marina is also a short drive away as well. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful property.

Thanksgiving memories

The pictures do not give this rental justice. It is a beautiful house and the views are breath taking, we had a very nosy eagle that would fly by the deck regularly. My family loved that and many had not seen an eagle that close up and in flight. There was a flock of Turkeys as well, kind of funny seeing that it was Thanksgiving. I have been renting houses for vacations since 1991 and this was the most equipped rental I have seen. Air Fryer, Pressure Cooker, Ice Machine, OH MY! Shadra was very helpful and accommodating. The only negative to this rental is there's no bathroom downstairs but we just put the teenagers and young adults down there. They loved it and was fine with the arrangement, we loved that there was a place for them to go. We made family memories to last a life time and we are very appreciative for the opportunity to do so in such a wonderful rental. Thank you, Brenda

Beautiful In Pictures and Spectacular In Person!

This was a smooth booking process! The owners are super helpful and kind people that go the extra mile to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The views at this house of Greers Ferry Lake are breathtaking and the surrounding property of oak woods is gorgeous. At this house you will fill protected, experience privacy, and soak in nature. It is perfect for all times of trips and vacations. My group loved it and wants to go back!

My favorite VRBO ever!!!

I am literally not exaggerating when I say this was our favorite VRBO ever. The house was perfect, gorgeous, spotless, and exactly like the pictures showed. The owners had everything you could possibly imagine available to us. The view was stunning. The house could not have been cleaner. Everything was perfect!!! And the owners answered all our questions within seconds. We literally did not want to leave!!!

Amazing View - Best I have seen on the lake.

We enjoyed our stay and the views are simply amazing. Our guest did wish there was a bathroom on the bunk bed level, but other than that it was amazing. A couple of electronics didn’t work, however the homeowner was on top of it and made sure our stay was perfect. Excellent customer service on their part. Can we talk about the views again??? Amazing.
